Here's a conversation overheard in a mosque near Taif, Saudi Arabia:
"Mohammed, guess what, the NYC Imam is saying that Americans really do love us and it's only that scum rightwing that doesn't! He said they're going to build a mosque celebrating Islam in New York City (ya, of COURSE it's the place that we celebrate 911..don't interrupt me, you poor excuse for a camel's cousin!) and some rightwing dopes were against it, but the government and their media is convincing everyone that objection to the mosque is hateful bigotry and that Republicans are all hateful (remember that Bush who freed Iraqis from our brother Saddam was a Republican).....
Man, the Imam is playing them like a fine violin! He knows their Constitution very well while their own president's going against it in so many ways! He even got Obama to pay $16,000 fo
r his trip while he apologizes to us about American hatred .... I mean, where the hell does it say in the Constitution of America that Americans should pay to build bridges between them and us! See what I MEAN? This guy is just plain GREAT! AND he's even got them to agree to paying for getting islamic sites back in shape around the world....Can you IMAGINE what any Arab country would do if Americans asked us to refurbish rubbles of churches? Churches in rubble is our goal! HAHA HAHA!! This thing's all part of the Imam's joyful story; he says America's left are such weenies that they'll do ANYTHING to help muslims now...look, muslims killed THEM and they're apologizing to US and doing great things for us, WHAT A COUNTRY! Ya, ya, ya.........it's true, believe me...!!. Heck, what's not to believe> ...America's turned into a country which gives its enemies dates for when they're leaving a war! IMAGINE?"

I watched some of the Sunday morning shows and shouldn't be at all surprised but I was, this week tipped the scales and I had to write:
Did YOU know that anyone against the mosque is just a 'CABLE TV' nut who doesn't understand that CABLE TV is "just using the mosque situation for ratings"?
Did you know that, according to Fareed Zakaria, that he had an "intelligent and informed" discussion re the mosque, unlike "the screaming and misinformation on CABLE TV?" ( I guess he didn't notice CNN is CABLE, too, huh? Or that that "cable TV" station has BOTH sides represented...I'm not sure CNN even knows HOW to do that?)
Did you know this mosque controversy just 'Fits the ARGUMENT CULTURE of CABLE TV", according to Margaret Carlson on Howard Kurtz's show which is also ON "CABLE TV"!? (but that 'argument culture' isn't HIM, of course!)
Did you know they're not calling it a mosque anymore but an "Islamic Center with a 'prayer room'"? That was Fareed Zakaria but it's the new leftwing meme this morning on all the leftwing news now.
Did you know there are also those on "the other CABLE TV" "news" who are now comparing one prayer room at the Pentagon to the 13 story islamic culture center and mosque near 9/11? "How COULD the Right approve the Pentagon's prayer room and be so angry at THIS project in NYC?!" :-)
Did you know that CAIR and other advocates (media, etc.) have given up the moniker CORDOBA INITIATIVE because, well heck, the last time there was a Cordoba Initiative was in Spain in the year 711 and the initiative worked in converting Spaniards to Islam, killing Christians to achieve that goal, we can't have people remembering THAT, so now it's referred by the Park51 name.
Did you realize all of that? Or are you just too stupid, as the leftwing press suggests?
CABLE TV is now the buzzword for FOX, check it out; that's been what the leftwing news now refers to FOX as. Maybe they're so bugged by FOX's ratings that they won't say FOX anymore? Just a guess on my part because CABLE TV has been said over the last couple of weeks, and was said so much Sunday morning so much, with the very clear inferences to FOX, that it got me giggling!
Also, according to Juan Williams, "the RIGHTWING is just Politicizing" the situation of the mosque. He says it's only Sarah Palin and Gingrich who've led people into not wanting the mosque there, that Harry Reid and Howard Dean are only complaining of the location. Oops, wait, that's what Palin and Gingrich are complaining about, but facts won't get in ol' Juan's way.
I have not seen ONE Conservative or Liberal use LEGALITY as a reason to stop the mosque; anybody older than 4 years old knows it's perfectly within any religion's right to build a house of worship on any land they own and I'm really getting tired of this being used as the red herring excuse by the leftwingers. This is NOT about LEGALITIES, this is about DECENCY, the FEELINGS OF SURVIVING FAMILY MEMBERS.... including ALL of us in the family of America. Yet, no matter how much Conservatives say that, the leftwing just keeps up the ridiculous red herring, just keep blowing the smoke, keep the masses dumb and hating the Right.
BUT, you see, we're all BIGOTS who watch too much CABLE TV and should understand that no muslims wish us harm and the Imam is a wonderful man whom our government trusts and we've all just got to get over it, folks. BUT, even liberal columnist Judith Miller asks "Why is nobody at the White House responding to my questions of why this Imam has been sent to Europe, to the tune of $16,000...why can't we know what he's doing there?" Indeed, why don't we? The left's waking up. Some of them. Of course, the timing of this Imam's trip could not have been better...get him out of town NOW, he won't have to answer questions, and make sure muslims throughout the world know we are SO SO SORRY. (about...?)
THE MOSQUE is being used against the RIGHT now, folks....Calls of rightwing RACISM didn't work, the harangue of "Republicans want to get rid of your social security" didn't work........and the mosque situation is mostly backfiring, too, becaus
e of "CABLE TV" God bless Cable TV....at least the FOX part of it. Sure, we all know lots of Independents depend on liberal news for REAL news and they probably do think this drive against the mosque is all a rightwing conspiracy, but most people are waking up, don't you think?
I'm TIRED of apologizing for watching the only cable TV with all sides constantly represented. I'm tired of being made to feel they're right and we are wrong. I'm tired of the demeaning...are you? It's EVERYWHERE...misinformation, insults, demeaning language..........
Last week, I was involved in an email conversation about the mosque between some people who don't know each other but got sent a lot of information from a friend in common. Suddenly, a leftwinger ended it be emailing all on the list that "FOX is for SHEEPLE and we need to educate ourselves. FOX is entertainment." Where do they GET OFF? I can't imagine the hubris of writing everyone, conservatives and liberals, what I think of CNN and MSNBC, and all the networks..I'd just never DO that.
Monday, Rick Sanchez on CNN asked a correspondent about Arizona's JD Hayworth..."he is SO STUPID" He got a BIG laugh fromSanchez and the RICK'S LIST crew behind the cameras......"Ya, I AGREE!!" Sanchez guffaws back. I've never heard anybody on FOX call anybody STUPID. But, FOX is the bigoted, unkind, biased reportage.???
When did the whole Right side of America become QUITE so reviled, quite so written off?
This is a new America. We are to believe in OBAMA and his form of governance...we are to believe people cannot make it on their own, we are to believe that the Constitution is a work in progress and, if the left doesn't like it, it's ignored, we're to believe that little fish come before human beings, that killing babies is a right, that changing marriage so two men can wed after thousands of years is a good idea, that Christian are nothing but bigots and hate mongers.............
We are to believe WE ARE WRONG......IF YOU ARE A CONSERVATIVE, YOU ARE WRONG....taught in our schools, constantly in print and the television networks and every film and TV show which bothers to mention politics, in every social controversy, in everything........YOU ARE WRONG.
What do we do? The rightwing gets pretty vociferous, too, but they just can't be right because Ann Coulter has a prickly edge, Rush Limbaugh can be a blowhard, Hannity is stupid, Glenn Beck's overly emotional and wrong, ...you know the drill. They set it UP, people......they set it up where anything the Right does is WRONG now. YOU know it, I know it.
