Porn and Romney?

Do you know who RON JEREMY is?  Apparently,  he's, as Yahoo's writer calls him, an adult film "star".

Yahoo's headline, for those who would know who Ron Jeremy, is this:  RON JEREMY:  ROMNEY IS A GOOD MAN.

"Oh," one might think..."that's creepy...a PORN STAR LIKES ROMNEY?   Wow, what is it about Romney that prompts this guy to say that?   UHOH."  Tell me that your average American who'd vote for Obama wouldn't also take a headline like that to the bank.

Two things fascinate me here:  One, is that Yahoo thinks that enough people recognize who Jeremy is to DO an article about what he thinks...and two, and most important fact, is RON JEREMY IS VOTING FOR BARACK OBAMA.  SO, the point of an article on this fascinating fact is.......................what I think it is?

hmmm

Pelosi lies...Pres. Obama in Israel? oops

Nancy Pelosi recently said that "Obama has been in Israel 'over and over again'".  The trouble is, he's never been since he was president......and only twice before that.

Daniel Halper has called attention to Nancy Pelosi's remarkable interview with Al Hunt on the topic of Barack Obama and Israel. I'd note one comment in particular: Pelosi's claim that President Obama "has been there [Israel] over and over again."
obama and pelosi
William Kristol says:  Wow. I'm involved with the Emergency Committee for Israel. We have an ad up in several states calling attention to the fact that President Obama, who's been quite the world traveler, has never visited Israel as president. Did we make a terrible mistake? Were we unjust to President Obama? Do we have to pull down the ad?
No, no, and no. Contrary to Pelosi's apparent claim, President Obama hasn't been to Israel over and over again. He's never been as president, which is certainly what Pelosi implied. Well, maybe he visited Israel "over and over" before becoming president, and that's what Pelosi meant to say? No. When he was senator, Obama went on two trips to Israel, once with several other freshmen members of Congress, and then as a presidential candidate. And he'd never been interested enough in Israel to visit as a private citizen. So much for the notion that Obama's been "over and over again."
So Pelosi is wrong, and the Emergency Committee is right. But Pelosi's resort to a whopper to try to reassure pro-Israel voters does suggest how worried Democrats must be about the reaction to Obama's attempt to create distance between his administration and Israel, as Obama's Israel policy gets more scrutiny.

By the way, did YOU know that Republican Jews are being 'exploited' by the Republicans?  Mrs. Pelosi says so, but she's very careful to add "and THEY'RE smart people!"    Ya, Nanc..as the old, sad saying goes ."some of your best friends are Jewish!" :-)  what a suck up.  Of course, 'they're smart people,' and I'm banking on their being smart enough to see through her.   HERE is that article.

Are Republican Jews being EXPLOITED?  And did Pelosi lie about Obama's trips to Israel?   Does that mean SHE'S trying to EXPLOIT people?

The Red Tape Killer Bill? Check this out

A friend sent the following email to a liberal friend of his...He cc'd me, knowing I'd like it, and DID I.  I thought I should share his words AND the BILL that the House passed on Thursday, a terrific Bill I am sure the Democrat-controlled Senate will kill.  I hope sincerely that the Romney folks use the killing of the Bill in the campaign....but I won't hold my breath.  Here's my friend's email:

"Here is an example of what a Republican controlled House of Rep is doing.  This is just common sense and basically goes along with Republican philosophy, that being letting the private sector do what they do best and getting government off their backs.  After all, isn’t it the private sector that pays the taxes that the idiots in D.C. spend or fritter away?  Ever hear about killing the goose that laid the golden eggs?  Well the big Obama government and all the agencies, all of the regulations, his bullshit executive orders and bureaucrats trying to justify their phone jobs are killing the goose.  Guess what, the 172 that voted against this bill, all Democrats.  So please do not ask me why I am a conservative Republican, this is just part of the reason.  You are so concerned that Mitt Romney does not have any personality, I am deeply concerned about the country surviving.  Watch this bill get killed in the Senate or vetoed by His Majesty.  If the Senate or Obama kill this bill, it will send a strong message to the American Voter.  Just keep voting for big government, higher taxes and more government involved in our lives, your grand kids will thank you."
Good, huh?  Here is the information on the Bill:

Memorandum

Government Affairs Committee
Environment Committee
FROM:
Tate Rosenbusch, Director, Government Affairs
DATE:
July 26, 2012
SUBJECT:
House passes H.R. 4078, the “Red Tape Reduction and Small Business Job Creation Act”

Today, the House of Representatives passed H.R. 4078, the “Red Tape Reduction and Small Business Job Creation Act,” by a vote of 245-172.  The passage of H.R. 4078 will help streamline the federal permitting process, prevent agencies from proposing or finalizing midnight regulations and impose transparency on the sue and settle process abused by the agencies and environmental groups.
The package includes prohibiting the promulgation of any new major regulation until the unemployment rate is equal to or less than six percent.  The bill also includes major time restrictions on agencies while conducting an environmental impact statement, environmental assessment or the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA).  Also, an amendment offered Rep. McKinley (R- W.V.) was adopted that would lower the maximum cost threshold to the economy on any proposed rule or regulation from $100,000,000 to $50,000,000.
In supporting the legislation and advocating on its behalf, the National Mining Association (NMA) joined 142 organizations in sending the attached letter of support to the Hill.
Attached also find a copy of the legislation.  To see how your delegations voted, click here.
Please contact Tate Rosenbusch at (202) 463-2621 or trosenbusch@nma.org for additional information.

Olympic Highlights?? Newsworthy?

Here are examples of what the MEDIA thinks is important to report on regarding the Olympics:

150,000 condoms were passed to athletes by the Olympics committee.

Michael Phelps is a cold creep because he wouldn't talk to a female Olympian

The Queen had the temerity to look down and pick at her fingernails during the long opening ceremonies

Michelle Obama appearance outshined The Duchess of Cambridge (REALLY? :-) Are you kidding?

There's more...all negative, all gossipy, all sickening.

Thanks, Media........"Happy Olympics, happy dignity, happy athletics, happy times to you, too."  REAL CLASS, huh?

Whatever happened to DECENCY?

Comments?

NO Dream Act Enforcement; you will want to see this

Please send this around to everyone you know.   Americans need to know we're being lied to about our borders.  They are NOT safe according to top immigration officials.

This is quite a lot of first-hand information and imagine what it took for officials to speak against the DHS and this administration?  That is very rarely done;  not unless they are FED UP.
And here they are.............

I suppose we should all be fed up.   Would that the truth behind so many American issues was finally revealed like this is.
Is there anything we can do to make sure the laws ARE enforced by this administration?  HOW?

The Right is VIOLENT! MURDEROUS! ...oh, wait.......

Do NOT miss the Jon Stewart video below where he is SKEWERING of ABCs Brian Ross for his LIE.   Brooke has it at her wonderful blog and I swiped it because Mustang sent me this article and they complimented each other, BUT VIACOM HAS BLOCKED IT SINCE I PUBLISHED IT LAST NIGHT so you'll have to click on her link here and see it, it's SO well worth it.  Can't let their hero look bad!  BY THE WAY...VIACOM HASN'T BLOCKED MANY, MANY JON STEWART VIDEOS ON YOUTUBE...WHY DO YOU SUPPOSE THIS ONE SKEWERING BRIAN ROSS GOT AXED?  ODD?

But please read this first.....we all need to know what's going on....
Media assumptions that violence is right wing are routine — and routinely wrong.

On Friday morning, Brian Ross of ABC News speculated on live TV that James Holmes, the accused killer in Aurora, Colo., was a member of the Tea Party.  A few hours later, Ross posted a short apology online; Holmes had no Tea Party connection.

Ross’ unfounded speculation wasn’t unusual (although the speed of his apology was).  This was merely the latest case of media commentators jumping to the conclusion that violent atrocities should be attributed to members of the political right.  Let’s look back at how often the media has falsely invoked Tea Partiers and other “right-wing nut jobs” in the past few years.

* September 2009: The discovery of hanged census-taker Bill Sparkman in rural Kentucky fueled media speculation that anti-government Tea Partiers had killed him.  In fact, he’d killed himself and staged his corpse to look like a homicide so his family could collect on life insurance.

* February 2010: Joe Stack flew his small plane into an IRS building in Austin, Texas.  The media immediately suggested that the anti-tax rhetoric of the Tea Party led to the attack.  In fact, Stack’s suicide note quoted the Communist Manifesto.

* That same month, a professor at the University of Alabama, Amy Bishop, shot and killed three colleagues at a faculty meeting.  The gun-loving Tea Party came under immediate suspicion.  But Bishop was a lifelong Democrat and Obama donor.

* March 2010: John Patrick Bedell shot two Pentagon security officers at close range.  The media went wild with speculation that a right-wing extremist had reached the end of his rope.  Bedell turned out to be a registered Democrat and 9/11 Truther.

* May 2010: New York authorities disarmed a massive car bomb in Times Square.  Mayor Bloomberg immediately speculated that the bomber was someone upset about the president’s new health-care law.  The media trumpeted the idea that crazed conservatives had (again, they implied) turned to violence.  In fact, the perp was Faisal Shahzad, an Islamic extremist.

* August 2010: Amidst the debate over the Ground Zero Mosque, Michael Enright stabbed a Muslim cab driver in the neck.  It was immediately dubbed an “anti-Muslim stabbing,” with “rising Islamophobia” on the political right to blame.  In fact, Enright, a left-leaning art student, had worked with a firm that produced a pro-mosque statement.

* September 2010: James Lee, 43, took three hostages at the Discovery Channel’s headquarters in Maryland.  The media speculation was unstoppable: Lee was surely a “climate-change denier” who’d resorted to violence.  Oops: He was an environmentalist who viewed humans as parasites on the Earth.

* January 2011: Jared Lee Loughner went on a rampage in Tucson, Ariz.  Again, the media knew just who to blame: the Tea Party and its extremist rhetoric.  In fact, Loughner was mostly apolitical — a conspiracy theorist who, to date, has been judged too mentally incompetent to stand trial.

The media’s habitual blaming of the political right is endemic and incurable.  Media figures sincerely believe the right wing is violent, so naturally assume that violent people must be right wing.  This won’t be the last time they make that mistake.*** (see below)  (Z: by the way, the majority of that's only in one year, don't forget)

A doctor and Obama Care...........authenticated, by the way

... Dear Mr. President:

During my shift in the Emergency Room last night, I had the pleasure of evaluating a patient whose smile revealed an expensive shiny gold tooth, whose body was adorned with a wide assortment of elaborate and costly tattoos, who wore a very expensive brand of tennis shoes and who chatted on a new cellular telephone equipped with a popular R&B ring tone.

While glancing over her patient chart, I happened to notice that her payer status was listed as "Medicaid"!

During my examination of her, the patient informed me that she smokes more than one costly pack of cigarettes every day and somehow still has money to buy pretzels and beer.

You and our Congress expect me to pay for this woman's health care? I contend that our nation's "health care crisis" is not the result of a shortage of quality hospitals, doctors or nurses.
Rather, it is the result of a "crisis of culture", a culture in which it is perfectly acceptable to spend money on luxuries and vices while refusing to take care of one's self or, heaven forbid, purchase health insurance. It is a culture based on the irresponsible credo that "I can do whatever I want to because someone else will always take care of me."

Once you fix this "culture crisis" that rewards irresponsibility and dependency, you'll be amazed at how quickly our nation's health care difficulties will disappear.

Respectfully,
STARNER JONES, MD

I thought this was well worth consideration.........I imagine you do, too.    The question is HOW DO WE DO THAT?

Sally Ride...do you agree with the title?

I sent the following email to a few close friends last night on the subject of Sally Ride's apparent lesbianism, something of which most people didn't know until her death yesterday.

"Here is a woman who tried to keep her sexual choice PRIVATE...who lived with another women for 27 years, happily and apparently monogamously, without (imagine?) forcing America to accept her sexuality because she wanted to marry or wanted notoriety.
Sally Ride has risen above the stars and the moon in my opinion.  I have tears in my eyes with respect for this woman, more than ever. May she rest in blessed peace for her quiet dignity."
I didn't plan on sharing that email with anybody else, but when I saw the title of the article for the story below, I blanched and had to discuss it here.   The title to the following article is this:
SALLY RIDE'S HIDDEN PRIDE.
Really?  She is the one who kept her personal life "hidden"...why would they say "Hidden Pride?"  She was in a 27 year relationship with another woman, a relationship which they both apparently kept quiet all these years; it was her quiet dignity which kept her from divulging this relationship to the public for all these years.  It was HER CHOICE.  Is it her PRIDE to have people out her on the day she DIED???  REALLY?   Here's the article under SALLY RIDE'S HIDDEN PRIDE:

Could Sally Ride, the first American woman in space, also have been the first lesbian in space? She died Monday after a 17-month battle with pancreatic cancer, and according to her website, she is survived by Tam O'Shaughnessy, her "partner of 27 years."
Ride's sister and a spokeswoman for Sally Ride Science, the organization led by Ride and O'Shaughnessy, confirmed the relationship to BuzzFeed along with their preference to keep it private.
O'Shaughnessy is currently a professor emerita of school psychology at San Diego State University, and wrote four books with Ride, but her interest in science started at an early age. The two scientists first met at age 12 playing tennis.
"O'Shaughnessy has been interested in science since she was a little girl," according to her biography. "One of her favorite childhood memories is of watching tadpoles in a creek gradually sprout legs, go green, and turn into frogs."
She wrote nine science books for children and helped Ride launch Sally Ride Science "because of her long-standing commitment to science education and her recognition of the importance of supporting girls' interests in science," according to the organization's website.
An article in the International Business Times says she was at Ride's side until the end.
Ride was not widely known in the gay community and was described as "elusive and enigmatic" and "protective of her emotions" in a 1983 Washington Post article referenced by a New York Times obituary.

If she was protective and elusive, why not let it stay that way in her death?   Is the gay lobby so important that they must out people who didn't apparently want to be outed?   I grieve for Ms. Ride and my sentiments above stand.  I wish she could have rested in quiet dignity, her sexual preference private as she'd wished.

Your thoughts?

If you don't get this book....I swear...

.....you will be missing the FUNNIEST, most terrific book I've read in a long time for pure Conservative entertainment.  If you have a friend with a birthday coming up, you just have to get it for that friend or relative.

I'd written about DON'T MESS WITH TRAVIS by Bob Smiley before and our blogger buddy Viburnum got it and LOVED it.  Well, I finally read it and I swear, I who almost never laughs out loud while reading anything, guffawed several times during this terrific romp about Texas seceding from the Union.  It is FABULOUS!
As I read, I feared the ending, thinking "it's bound to fall apart......where's he going with this and how's he going to make an ending that stands up to this terrific story?"  but, HE DID IT, I'm glad to say!

DON'T MESS WITH TRAVIS..........click and buy it!  If you don't love it, I'll send you the $16.00 you spent...okay, that's a lie, I won't do that,  but you can get a used copy for $7.50 and you trust me that I'm not telling you to spend your hard earned money on a dumb book, right!?  You'll be amazed at the VERY clever lines and the fun story line as Bob Smiley weaves around an Obama-like president, a Soros-like puppet-master and all the other delicious ways he skewers leftwing thinking.  And Smiley's a prophet because you'd think he wrote this yesterday instead of last year in that all the inferences are SO fresh and true.

GET IT!   It's an order :-) !!

ONLY in America.....truly

Only in America

… can politicians talk about the greed of the rich at a $40,000-a-plate campaign fund raising event.

… can people claim that the government still discriminates against black Americans when we have a black President, a black Attorney General, a Congressional Black Caucus and a federal workforce that is roughly 18% black when the black population is only 12%.

… can people most responsible for our tax code turn out to be tax cheats who are in favor of higher taxes: Timothy Geithner and Charlie Rangel.

… can terrorists kill people in the name of Allah and have media fretting about a possible backlash against Muslims.

… would we grant amnesty to millions of illegal aliens while forcing people who wish to come here legally to wait for years for permission to come here.

... are those who believe in the enumerated powers of the US Constitution thought of as extremists.

… is it necessary to present a driver’s license to cash a check, buy cigarettes or alcohol, but not to vote.

… do politicians demand investigations of oil companies for daring to make a profit, but ignoring companies who manufacture athletic shoes whose return on investment is twice as much.

… can government collect more tax dollars from the people than any nation in recorded history, still spend a trillion dollars more than revenues, and complain that it doesn’t have nearly enough money.

… are rich people, who pay 86% of all income taxes, accused of not paying their “fair share” by people who don’t pay any income taxes at all.

Our poor country.  I don't know who wrote this, but he makes great points......

Sunday Faith Blog....Oswald Chambers

The GATEWAY TO THE KINGDOM: Oswald Chambers, July 21.  From his Devotional "My Utmost for His Highest"

"Blessed are the poor in spirit"  Matthew 5:3

"Beware of placing our Lord as a Teacher first.  If Jesus is a Teacher only, then all He can do is tantalize me by erecting a standard I cannot attain.  What is the use of presenting me with an ideal I cannot possibly come near? I am happier without knowing it.  What is the good of telling me to be what I never can be - to be pure in heart, to do more than my duty, to be perfectly devoted to God?  I must know Jesus Christ as Saviour before His teaching has any meaning for me other than that of an ideal which leads to despair.  But when I am born again of the Spirit of God, I know that Jesus Christ did not come to teach only;  He came to make me what He teaches I should be.  The Redemption means that Jesus Christ can put into any man the disposition that ruled His own life, and all the standards God gives are based on that disposition.

The teaching of the Sermon on the Mount produces despair in the natural man - the very thing Jesus means it to do.  As long as we have a self-righteous, conceited notion that we can carry out our Lord's teaching, God will allow us to go on until we break our ignorance over some obstacle, then we are willing to come to Him as paupers and receive from Him.  "Blessed are the paupers in spirit," that is the first principle in the Kingdom of God.  The bedrock in Jesus Christ's kingdom is poverty, not possession; not decisions for Jesus Christ, but a sense of absolute futility - I cannot begin to do it.  Then Jesus says -- Blessed are you.  That is the entrance, and it does take us a long while to believe we are poor!  The knowledge of our own poverty brings us to the moral frontier where Jesus Christ works."

"He mocks proud mockers but gives grace to the humble."  Proverbs 3:34

"Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time."  1 Peter 5:6.

This devotional really spoke to me yesterday and I wanted to share it with you.  It answers a lot of questions some of us have, don't you think?  Read it a couple of times, it makes so much sense.  Blessings and comfort to you this Sunday, and always.  Have a wonderful day.
And, if you have a few minutes more, please check into SILVERFIDDLE'S POST TODAY.......it's excellent, as usual, and really spoke to me as it might to you.

Make your day! This is Anita Montcrief; you MUST see this and send it around, PLEASE!

If you want to feel good today about the fact that people are WAKING UP, and to hear FIRST HAND the truth about ACORN, Obama, Democrats, etc., watch these, they don't take long and they FLY by, I promise!  She is fabulous...it'll make your day.

This is Anita Montcrief, who blew the whistle on ACORN (and, particularly, the Obama donors never turned into the FEC, which even the NY Times writer agreed with, by the way) and what she knows, first hand, about this group, community organizers, the Democrat Party and Barack Hussein Obama.   The videos take only a few minutes but fly by......PLEASE send them to friends, too!  People have to see this black woman explaining how she went from liberal to conservative after working for ACORN and seeing what Obama was really about........she also says Black folks are done with Obama and are just waiting for someone to help them vote Conservative...but she says they keep that quiet.  Get ready for the exposure of  COLLUSION between Obama, Project Vote and ACORN, first hand.

Let me know what you think.........I could listen to her forever.  Did you hear how the NY Times handled all the information she gave them about Democrat voter fraud?   UNBELIEVABLE!

The media's even using these Colorado deaths...how awful

The definition of a "nano-second," says Mark Steyn subbing for Rush Limbaugh, "is the time between a mass shooting and some guy from the left blaming it on talk radio, or Sarah Palin, or Fox News."

HERE is a story about ABC jumping the gun and reporting that the murderer, Holmes, was a 52 year old, year-long member of the Colorado Tea Party.  Of course, we knew differently pretty quickly, but ABC's guy said this was the only James Holmes he could find and, brother, how he knew he was a new Tea Party member that fast is beyond me, and something we should ALL wonder about, but he reported it.  This James Holmes had to disconnect his phone because so many people were calling to blast him, of course!

Meanwhile, the site Twitchy.com, run by conservative commentator Michelle Malkin, has been collecting tweets between liberals Keith Olbermann and staffers for the Daily Kos debating the appropriate amount of time to wait before using the shooting for political gain.

Yet another moment that, at the time of grief and shock, the media has to use all of this for political gain...against Conservatives.   By the way, MSNBC and CNN have already  included GUN CONTROL in their stories on this nightmare. Remember, millions have guns, but if one lousy nut does this, all those people must get rid of them.    Man.

Colorado needs our prayers

Just the other day, a handyman was here and told me he couldn't go into the military because he suffered Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome after having been shot twice in a sporting good's store robbery where he saw two who were killed on the spot.   I hate to appear naive, but nothing remotely close to this has ever happened to me and I honestly didn't know that, 15 years later, people can suffer so badly from this kind of  injury or from what they have witnessed.

So, I have a new perspective regarding what's happened....I am thinking of that when I see the many people who were either shot or saw their friends or strangers shot and even killed this early morning in Aurora, Colorado.  I think of these people who felt the fear of having to run for your life and the lives of your loved ones. This will be a lasting thing in the minds of many Americans and I hope we all keep them in prayers.

After we're finished praying because this story's forgotten, there are many who will never forget, particularly those who lost loved ones, but please keep all of those there last night in mind.  And the first responders, too.  How they cope with what they see happen to humankind is way beyond me.

SYRIA'S BURNING..........should America do anything?   What have you been thinking about in regard to that situation?  It's estimated that 17,000 people have died, mostly innocent civilians, children, etc.

Much needed humor......

A British Engineer just started his own business in Afghanistan.  He’s making land mines that resemble prayer mats and he’s doing rather well.  He says prophets are going through the roof....

an email friend sent me that and I thought it was so clever that I thought you might enjoy the laugh, too!

What are you hearing from past Obama voters?

I'm hearing they're not voting for Obama again.... You hearing the same thing? Any stories to share?  My NYC stockbroker cousin says all his liberal stockbroker buddies LOVED Obama in 2008 and have turned totally off of him.   I have more stories...do you?  Let's try to cheer each other up :)   I think I told you all a few times that Mr. Z's doc was a liberal who voted for Obama, then heard about Obama Care and stopped arguing with Mr. Z, suddenly asking "why aren't the Republicans fighting it harder?"  I have a lot of stories of people turning off of Obama....DO YOU?  TELL US!
Thanks!

I haven't seen anywhere Chuck lately........and he hasn't posted on his blog for many, many days...anybody seen any comments from CHUCK THINKS RIGHT?  I'm worried :-(
z

Obama Bundler was at BAIN? During the LAYOFFS? :-)

Are you KIDDING ME???, after all the Obama ads on Romney and Bain (none of which are true, by the way) and I have that on excellent authority!...   Gateway Pundit blog's title is this:

"Obama’s Top Bundler Jonathan Lavine Was In Charge of Bain During GST Steel Layoffs"

Say it ain't SO!....except it IS.   With Video.  I'd have stolen the whole post, but I don't read Gateway Pundit and hate to steal from another blog, anyway!   You must click above on the line and see for yourself.

Think the MSM will pick THIS STORY UP? :-)   Let's see how the liberal commenters here scatter after reading this one.  Or what excuse for Obama they'll come up with!

Oh, THIS is sad (and typical)...the linked article includes this: "It turns out that Jonathan Lavine, current Obama bundler, was actually in charge, at Bain, during that period, when the layoffs occurred. Oops, that isn’t right, is it? Yes, that story is the one that needs to be reported on. Sorry Mr. President, your lies are just getting to be more than many of us are able to handle."
BUT, when I clicked on REPORTED, the article was gone.   that's getting more and more typical these days, too.

z (thanks, Elbro...what a story)

Government can fix ANYTHING!

What's unclear about this to Obama voters?

Born Again American's Blog

You'll want to READ THIS..........it's a wonderful feel-good American success story with some first-hand wisdom thrown in!

John King and David Gergen...Romney's truthful about BAIN

This is pretty shocking stuff.....John King is oftentimes pretty fair, David Gergen's (in my opinion) rather a turncoat hack, but they both are saying the Obama campaign's lying about Romney and Bain, and they have the facts and eyewitnesses.  NONE of the Bain people (many Obama supporters) agree that Romney was still with Bain when the Obama people are saying he was.  NONE.

Make sure you watch till the end.......there's some pretty damning stuff against Obama.
But, most people will never hear it and King and Gergen tell Anderson Cooper that the Obama people are counting on most people not knowing the truth and they'll just keep telling the lies.
They are waiting to divulge another lie that Romney participated in a waste company which (pardon me) deals with aborted fetuses.......and even King and Gergen are admitting this is REALLY LOW POLITICS.
Finally.

Obama fundraises in Communist China

Doesn't it seem to you that if Obama is having Fundraising events around the world, including Communist China, there could be a conflict of interest in his presidency?   DOES THIS MAKE SENSE TO YOU?
And shouldn't other than Conservatives know this?   Why isn't it in the news?
Imagine what the Obama campaign would do if Romney was having campaign fundraisers around the world? :-)

I Googled and can't find any big American paper talking about this, but the Canadian FREE PRESS does and it has this quote "Does that seem a bit hypocritical? Attacking Romney not only for supposedly outsourcing jobs overseas, but also attacking him for having investments outside the U.S., yet here Obama is sponsoring fund raisers in China, of all places?"

WHY can't AMERICANS LEARN ABOUT THIS?  Please link in my comments page if you see this in the NY Times or Boston Globe or LA Times, or any big city American paper which seems to be campaigning FOR Obama in their silence of so many things.....thanks.   PLEASE let your people who voted for Obama know these things;  I think they'd want to know.

Celeste Holm was one of my very favorite actresses

I saw her years ago one night in Santa Monica as I walked out of a restaurant...she happened to look up and I said "Celeste Holm? I think you're fabulous"  and she gave me a huge smile.  I loved her as KAREN in ALL ABOUT EVE, I adored her in the wonderful film GENTLEMEN'S AGREEMENT, for which she won BEST SUPPORTING  ACTRESS, and I was glad to give back to her even something that small.  She never made a bad film but her personal life seems to have been pretty tumultuous!
She died today.
Rest in Peace, Miss Holm (or Holmes, as many refer to her on the internet).   You will be remembered.
(If you have not seen Gentleman's Agreement, please do)z

Sunday Faith Blog

A story to ponder about ...(but don't even read this unless you have time to read this AND watch the two music videos at the bottom...dedicated to Silverfiddle and Ticker!  FANTASTIC MUSIC!)

A king who did not believe in the goodness of God, had a slave who, in all
circumstances would always say "my king, do not be discouraged, because everything God does is perfect. He makes no mistakes!"

One day they went hunting and along the way a wild animal attacked the king. His slave managed to kill the animal, but could not prevent his majesty from losing a finger.

Furious and without showing his gratitude for being saved, the nobleman asked "Is God good? If He was good, I would not have been attacked and lost my finger."

The slave replied:"My king, despite all these things, I can only tell you that God is good,
and he knows why these things happened. What God does is perfect. He is  never wrong!"

Outraged by the response, the king ordered the arrest of his slave.

Later, the King left for another hunt, this time alone. He was captured by savages who engaged in human sacrifices.

On the altar and ready to sacrifice the nobleman, the savages discovered that their victim did not have one of his fingers. According to them, only a whole person with all his/her parts intact could be offered to the gods. The King without a finger was deemed an abominable sacrifice for their gods. So they released the King.

Upon his return to the palace, the King authorized the release of his slave. He received the slave affectionately.

He asked his slave, "my dear, God was really good to me! I was almost killed by the wild men, but for lack of a single finger, I was let go! But I have a question: if God is so good, why did he allow me to put you in jail?"

The slave answered, "my King, if I had gone with you on this hunt, I would have been sacrificed instead because I have no missing finger. Remember everything God does is perfect. He is never wrong. He made you keep me in jail so I would not be with you on the hunt."

Often we complain about life, and negative things that happen to us, forgetting that nothing is random and that everything has a purpose.

Every morning, offer your day to God, don't be in a rush.

Ask God to inspire your thoughts, guide your actions, and ease your feelings. And do not be afraid. God is never wrong!

You know why this message is for you? I do not know, but God knows, because He never makes mistakes.......

The path of God and his word is perfect, without impurities. He is the way of all those who trust in Him, as He says in 2 Samuel 22: 31

Z:  We never know how things will turn out when we're going through adversity but, looking back, we often find we WERE taken care of, things DID work out.......in ways we may not even be aware of.  Even if we think they didn't. Cling to this when as we see our beloved country seemingly taken over by lying politicians, a failing economy, such low morality, deadly weather;   It helps.

Have a beautiful Sunday.  God is never wrong.   Hard to remember sometimes, I know, believe me. NOW FOR MUSIC!:

The top video's posted here in admiration for the music AND our blogger buddy TICKER who's been feeling lousy lately, but is doing much better!  He sent me this and I have to admit to two Z secrets before going on:
1. I  don't enjoy the Celtic Groups kind of 'elevator music' (at least that's what I usually call it)
2. This LA girl LOVES GOOD FIDDLIN'  ...Alison Krauss, Bluegrass, Mark O'Connor......having said all that,  please watch this.... If you can watch this and not be smiling..HOW?!

OKAY, I can't mention Mark O'Connor without posting this, dedicated to my fiddlin' buddy SILVERFIDDLE...(SF, does it get better than this!?)  starts out slow, but.....it gets great!

Have a great Sunday...play those videos a few times and I GUARANTEE IT!
Love, Z
