By now, this is 'old news' (especially as fast as news seems to be happening lately....but don't miss the UPDATE I just added at the end), but there should be many things on our minds about the Cuba trip which are not forgotten, so I had to comment:Seems that the delegation from America to Cuba had a great time! And, it seems they found people to go who liked Castro before they even went there....

I'm not sure some of what Obama has planned for Cuba's a totally bad idea, but calling Castro "an ultimate survivor" seems naive after all the bad he's done to his people.
I found this sentence in the article linked above troubling, too: But the lawmakers disputed Castro's later statement that members of the congressional delegation said American society is still racist.
Do you believe an American delegation of politicians would tell Castro we are "still racist"? They 'dispute' the remark from their new "old friend", Castro? I thought this was a very telling part of the article .... So, they deny saying it but their new buddy Castro says they did behind closed doors.
Richardson said Castro knew her name and district. "He looked right into my eyes and he said, 'How can we help? How can we help President Obama?'"
Do you think they told Castro we're 'still racist' and can you imagine Castro asking us how HE can help our president? Do these politicians know their history of Cuba? Does it matter that Cuban exiles pulled for the Bay of Pigs because they didn't want their country to go Communist? I found that every site I researched on the Yahoo and Google search sites on Bay of Pigs blames us......"a permanent symbol of Cuban resistance to American aggression."
And now we're letting Americans send money to their Cuban families, helping Castro and Cuba with an influx of cash, and travel will be more open. Good idea?
Is FIDEL CASTRO A HERO? He's now asking "INSISTING!" for MORE...check it out. You see, we gave him an inch and the mile's his next goal..we've gone to a new point where CASTRO CAN INSIST. Does anyone else see what happens when we give in to someone with a track record like his? He'll be getting much more money in now, and some legitimacy, AND he "insists" on more. (big surprise?)
