While I'm no expert on security, you've all seen me here pointing out what seemed to me to be breaches of security, or giving details so copy-cat criminals will know what not to do next, etc, etc... So, the following isn't as upsetting as affirming. I wish I'd been wrong.
A expert in this business who is a past-supporter of Obama, is really upset:
We're apparently letting allies down by exposing information so they may never help us again (that is scary); we're letting enemies in on information which would be far better left secret. Putting aside the thoughts of some Republicans that Obama's leaking to make himself look tough on terror (we don't know that for a fact), this is a BIPARTISAN deal both Dems and Reps are getting together on. Liberal Dianne Feinstein is one at the helm of this problem. Now, we'll see how long she stays there, we've seen people change when they might have been "talked to," but I think that woman has enough sense to know this is important and she may just keep up the pressure.
Is there anything we can DO about this? One thing you ALL CAN DO is send this video to friends, liberal and conservative. This is serious stuff. As Mr. Goodwin suggests, this could be getting "dangerous." Sure seems like it to me. And why isn't the NYTimes in trouble for reporting it?

"They've Got His Back?"
Election 'fun' is starting....HERE is the source of this article:
President Barack Obama's reelection campaign is launching its first ad specifically aimed at black voters, a national radio spot entitled "We've Got Your Back," a campaign aide confirmed to Yahoo News. The Grio first reported the news.
"Four years ago, we made history. Now it's time to move forward and finish what we started together. We have to show the president we have his back," the bass-voiced narrator says over a drum track.Obama crushed Senator John McCain among black voters in 2008 and is sure to trounce Mitt Romney in 2012 in that constituency. But Democrats are leaving little to chance in an election defined by the weak economy, including stubbornly high jobless numbers, and need black voters to turn out in large numbers.
The Grio describes itself as "the first video-centric news community site devoted to providing African Americans with stories and perspectives that appeal to them but are underrepresented in existing national news outlets.
Can there be anything scarier or sadder in this great country than a Black president reaching out to a particular skin color? "We've got your back"? What's that mean exactly? It appears that pollsters are showing a little bit less excitement in the Black voting bloc for Obama this year. That's not to say they'll vote Republican, but they just won't bother to vote.
What would have happened had Obama geared ads to WHITE AMERICA, the other half of him, so specifically? YIKES! "ARREST THAT MAN!" , right? But, nooooooooooo

A Country Can't Survive....
Can you imagine the French prohibiting their children from singing Le Marsailles? (never happen). I don't believe there is another country in this world which disallows children to sing patriotic songs about the country they live in. And we wonder why so many illegals treat us like dirt? WE treat ourselves like undeserving dirt. Check this out:
NY Principal Pulls Patriotic Song, Wants to Avoid Offending Other Cultures
Sunday, 10 Jun 2012 10:46 AM
By Paul Scicchitano
Admonishing teachers that she did not want to “offend other cultures,” Coney Island principal Greta Hawkins reportedly is refusing to allow students to sing "God Bless the USA" at a school moving-up ceremony later this month.
The New York Post reported on Sunday that Hawkins had no problem, however, with Justin Bieber's "Baby" for her school’s June 20 commencement.
But after five classes spent months learning the song, Hawkins reportedly ordered a CD playing the Lee Greenwood hit to be shut off, the Post reported.
“A lot of people fought to move to America to live freely, so that song should be sung with a whole lot of pride,” Luz Lozada, whose son, Daniel, is in kindergarten, told the Post.
The Department of Education reportedly supports the principal’s decision, with spokeswoman Jessica Scaperotti saying that Hawkins found the lyrics “too grown up” for children.
“The lyrics are not age-appropriate,” she said of the song, which gained popularity after the 9/11 attacks and the Iraq invasion.
How do you build an America again based on immigrants who came here so excitedly to contribute, learn the language and give their children opportunity when WE don't allow our kids (or theirs) to sing about our country because "other cultures" won't like it. Who GIVES A DAMN ABOUT OTHER CULTURES? What message did this send to those kids who spent months learning the song? Other cultures are wonderful at HOME, or at particular celebrations. Immigrants used to want to be part of the AMERICAN CULTURE. Now we don't let them?
I'm ARMENIAN, we were raised loving this country. My grandparents learned English in short order and were thrilled to do so and saw to it that their children got great educations and fully participated in America.
That included singing GOD BLESS AMERICA, trust me.
I'm sorry to sound a bit rough on this, but THIS IS A RECIPE FOR DISASTER.
Do you agree?

Sunday Faith Blog
The Last Bastion of Freedom

Richard Wurmbrand (1909-2001), a Romanian evangelical Christian minister and author who spent a total of fourteen years imprisoned in Romania for his faith, was also the founder of the Voice of the Martyrs, an interdenominational organization working with and for persecuted Christians around the world. In 1967, he expressed this view of America:
Every freedom-loving man has two fatherlands; his own and America. Today, America is the hope of every enslaved man, because it is the last bastion of freedom in the world. Only America has the power and spiritual resources to stand as a barrier between militant communism and the people of the world.
It is the last "dike" holding back the rampaging floodwaters of militant communism. If it crumples, there is no other dike, no other dam; no other line of defense to fall back upon.
America is the last hope of millions of enslaved peoples. They look at it as their second fatherland. In it lies their hopes and prayers.
I have seen fellow-prisoners in communist prisons beaten, tortured, with 50 pounds of chains on their legs--praying for America...that the dike will not crumple; that it will remain free.
"Where then is my hope?" Job 17:15

CaCHINK! caCHINK $$$$$
What do you think of THIS? Do you believe the Police would take a guy into the academy who said he wouldn't obey the rules and spend that much money training him only to fire him now? Should he be made to cut the beard or not?
Think he'll make a bundle now based on religious discrimination?

George Clooney....talk about 'dim'
So, I got to thinking about that and how he was fair because we all should respect the office of the president and maybe calling the guy OBAMA isn't the most respectful thing to do. But, then I wondered if Clooney had been so respectful to George Bush who was ALSO a PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES....and I found this:
“The problem is, we elected a manager and we need a leader. Let’s face it, Bush is just dim.” George Clooney.
Yup...so he not only calls him BUSH, but he's real respectful to the office by calling a president "just dim," huh?
Liberal hypocrisy again, folks. The fun never stops.
(I'd put an image of Clooney up here to illustrate my post but it would be like having a picture of Bill Moyers or Maher here; ain't gonna happen. EVER.)

"YOU are NOT SPECIAL"
Graduation speeches are usually pretty good. A dear and brilliant friend's delivering one tonight and I'm eager to hear her.
But THIS SPEECH TAKES THE CAKE. (start it at about 2:30 min. if you can't listen to the whole thing). Imagine a teacher telling students "you're not special?"
It's the best speech I've ever heard for high school aged people and I post this now because, by tomorrow, I will have heard my friend's speech and, no matter how good it was, I needed to say the one in the video is THE BEST :-)
Please let me know....how do YOU feel about EVERYBODY BEING SPECIAL? Apparently, it's a big hit with social networking because I think kids are used to thinking they ARE special. This bunch loved the speech. I'm not sure kids on the coasts would.

Leftwing bad-wishers...why?
This video's nasty and quick; I hope you watch it. It's yet another leftwing nut saying he hopes the Lieutenant Governor who kept her job in the Recall nonsense in Wisconsin gets colon cancer and dies before he can do what he'd like to her, which is get her "the F out of the state".
I think every group has a nut here and there, but I guess that's the difference between a conservative like me and a leftwinger; when a supposed Tea Party attendee held up ONE SIGN that was questionable in its content, we got comments here and in the media about how that person "represents them all." Then when the OWS people started defecating and having sex in public, etc., the leftwing said "that's not the real group, that's just a couple of nuts"
See, I think a couple of nuts can give a bad rap to a whole group; but I see them as nuts, not the whole group. For example, I know not all Democrats in Wisconsin want Kleefisch dead!
I wonder if I'd be accorded the same decency and generosity if the tables were turned and a Republican had said what the guy says in this video. I think not. The leftwingers are even Twittering DEATH THREATS to Walker now! Do they think that's the American way? I still mourn the fact that so many leftwingers rejoiced at Tony Snow's painful and untimely death and the Conservatives I know had blogs saying they disagreed with Ted Kennedy but wished his family the best.
There's a kind of mindset I think we need to fix in half of America........it's unkind, unhealthy, and a terrible example for our children. But how?

The Enterprise...and the Constitution?
I watched The Enterprise on a barge being taken to a museum in New York this morning. An interesting fact I didn't know is that it was originally named The Constitution, but a vote from the Star Trek-watching public at the time decided to call it The Enterprise.
Long may she live. Somehow.
