Debbie has an amazing article I hope you all read..HERE. For those of you who care about businesses going under due to more and more regulations, and businesses being compromised for the fact that they are Christian people living with Christian principles, please give it a read and send it around to your email/Facebook people. Thanks from Debbie and all of us on the GeeeZ staff.

Businesses assaulted first, then private schools and other Christian organizations, particularly those that use faith-based hiring and place faith-based limitations on their employees.
Meanwhile, Muslim companies do as they please without much interference from the government. Freedom of religion for some but not for all!
Of course, another factor is in play here: many Christians are not terribly committed to their faith, but Muslims are. In other words, Christians compromise, but Muslims do not.
This is how the progressive agenda works. It starts by redefining things.
Freedom of Religion morphs into freedom of worship, constraining it to only what goes on within the walls of a church, personal morality and religious beliefs be damned.
As a sneering, sore-winner Obama voter would say, elections have consequences. We won, you lost. Get over it.
This is only the beginning, folks.
I guess some animals (or religions) are more equal than others.
I hope we all have a wonderful Sunday, regardless of the assault on our faiths.
"We’re Christians, and we run our business on Christian principles. I’ve always said that the first two goals of our business are (1) to run our business in harmony with God’s laws, ... "
Not a religious organization?
And Ive been wondering for a while now, why our First Amendment rights are constarined to "religious organizations".
A local business here (http://weingartz.com), large but not as large. is facing the same situation, as are many.
Once again I must control the rage I feel at the idiots who voted to retain this gang.
1 John 4:3 and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
Why is it so hard for so many to understand that our constitution protect our rights to religion it does not protect us from religion.
The Fabian Society didn't get it's name from the desire to implement their agenda quickly.
Ed, what do you mean by "not a religious organization?" I think I'm reading you wrong.
A company has every right to run its shop on as many religious fundamentals as they like as long as they're not breaking laws and they're paying their taxes and not forcing any employee to partake...right? But then to be forced to pay for things so against their sensibilities is wrong...right?
SF...that's a good point; as long as Christians keep it in the church, they're okay...or at least 'acceptable'...imagine? When our founding fathers were so clear about running this country on the blessings of God and His laws.
AOW...I think we Christians ARE giving in much easier than Muslims would if they ever had any restriction to islam.
Brooke....you're right, we have to keep a stiff upper lip and rely on the one True God.
Cons on Fire..it's part of the atheist protocol.
Thersites...I'm not clear on the Fabian Society's dealings and have got to run now so I can't Google..please explain your point. and thanks.
Also, thanks for your comment at Mac n' GeeeZ
I was saying that by his mission statement, to run his business in accordance with God's law, how is it not a religious organization?
Just because I'm a secular employee,
I'm not excluded from protection of religion.
Is a bible bookstore safe?
What makes an organization religious?
BTW Beautiful picture.
Z - Was Ms Z sailing again? She sure knows how to get the good pictures.
I hope your Thanksgiving was great - Z. Mine was.
Z - I need to check out my computer signature - The above is from Sue.
Tyranny used to be readily identifiable as brown shirted thugs in hobnail boots and wearing a swastika or hammer & sickle and rounding up "misfits" according to the government's ideology.
Now tyranny comes in the form of three piece suits wearing Gucci shoes and a smiley face, and imposing thousands of impossible to fulfill regulations on every aspect of life.
Ed, I'm appearing so dense but still not quite getting your point. I'm so sorry.
Whose side are you on? :-)
Are we to the point that if a man is Godly, and running his business with kindness and fairness and everything else good, it's a religious business? I don't think so! It would never be considered an atheist business if he was an atheist.
Are you saying anybody's suspect?
Some businesses owned by strong Christians may not mind paying for the day-after abortion pill...I don't see how they could, but..
Let's me be LUCY and you be RICKY and 'splain', please, what you mean.
It doesn't sound to me like their employees who might not be believers mind a bit, particularly with the amazing salaries and benefits they give!
I think you're on the same page as I but emails/comments sometimes make it difficult to grasp the full meaning!?
Thanks!
Sue, I wondered who that was! What's the significance of the screen name and why have a new one?!
Alligator, do you think we'll ever get out of this? you're so right.
I agree with Alligator.
I'll say it! What's going on here is Fascism. The Govt. controlling private business is what that is.
As long as private business pleases and obeys the Govt., they can exist.
This is what happens when tyranny takes over. You all know what I mean.
Freedom is no longer seen as from our Creator by those in power, it is now being taken away one step at a time, and Fascism is becoming evident for all to see, if they have the courage to see it!
There was a time when businesses could be run however the owners felt they should be.
If they were not conducive to being customer friendly, they couldn't compete. That's called the free market!
At one time, The Govt. did not make these rules. Now, they do, and choose winners and losers as they see fit.
Sadly, this is what happens when government grows so big. The people have made this possible, by wanting what they may not have and becoming dependent on the Govt.
What the Government giveth, the Government can taketh away, and the people are at the mercy of those in charge.
Tony Blair was a Fabian... after the Roman consul who kept Hannibal in check in the Roman countryside by NOT engaging his legions.
Wow, Thersites, this is an eye-opener! I remember studying Fabians in school but didn't remember what they were known for.
You're right...our leftwingers are Fabians. Except they're speeding up now thinking nobody's watching.
And, mostly, nobody IS.
thanks...Fabians are definitely in control right now.
Thanks for sharing.

Z. Just got out of Lincoln movie.
Excellent.
We're on the same side.
On phone. Can't elaborate. Friends waiting for dinner.
Ed, thanks!
I heard LINCOLN was VERY slow....I'm glad you enjoyed it, I hear as slow as it is, it's historically accurate.
I hope you have a wonderful time with your friends.
Tried discussing this with my MIL and she refusing to believe any of this. She totally back Obama and I don't even know if she even realized what his agenda is? She is close to retirement, she should be concerned, very concerned.
Sad.
Z: About Lincoln:
A liberal friend posted on FB that he loved the movie, and I said I was going to see it.
Another of his "friend"s commented:
"You will also love this movie, Ed, because the Republicans are brilliant and the Dems are embarassingly horrid! Really. Great history lessons here for all of us."
I did not find it slow in the least.
Political junkies should eat it up.
It's like watching the American Version of "Amazing Grace", the Wilberforce battle to end slavery in Britain.
Shows all the political manipulation.
Looking forward to seeing it again.
As to my previous comment.
If Hobby Lobby's mission statement is to "Honor God" (in so many words as posted at Debby's), why is it not a "religious organization" for purposes of the law?
Would a Christian Bookstore not be a "religious organization"?
Does "For Profit" disqualify being religious?
We will find out (via SCOTUS) what defines a religious organization.
We should be in prayer.
Ed, if people are running their company that has nothing to do with religion at all with good Godly principles, how's that a religious company?
I just don't see that at all.
I suppose things are that nutty that our gov't could pull something on us like that, but REALLY?
I'm thinking churches will be the first things to lose tax exemption and THAT is something we need to be praying for. Funny that it's churches that help the needy so much and gov't could take even that from society.. ANYTHING to make everyone TOTALLY dependent on the state.
I'd like to see LINCOLN and am glad for your review. The Republicans made the Dems look terrible? Gee, things haven't changed much, have they :-)
leticia, too many people voted who don't have a CLUE, right?
I for one would support churches losing their tax exempt status. Then the pastors of this country will have their chains removed and they can finally speak out.
Z - My daughter was using the computer and used that name to get into facebook. It has happened to me before.
I hope you enjoyed your week off.
Elbro, the will not speak out without a pulpit, however ...
The American gave hmup its right to *itch about the government when it sold its soul for tax exempt status. Now we complain about the gubmint providing for others and we The Church handed those responsibilities to the gubmint for a few dollars. We're reaping what we sow.
The American Church gave up.....
The pulpit will not disappear with tax exempt status ..to the contrary the Church will grow because we'll be forced to be different from the world
Quintus Fabius Maximus - The side chipper. The delayer.
Charles Rhodes in the late 1,800's was in S. Africa, and saw a group of young lads with bonding camaraderie.
And wondered why not have the same in England. So he started in the College of Cambridge. He told the English lads of the stories of Fabius Maximus, and then asked if that name would be acceptable, and they agreed.
Thus The Rhodes Scholars.
Key word for a secret member of the Fabians.
Bubba is a Rhodes Scholar even though he did not stay there very long, just to be inducted as a Fabian. Chelsse, his daughter went to Cambridge and became a Rhodes Scholar. Note she did not stay very long, either, just to be inducted as a Fabian. Father like daughter.
George Orwell wrote the book 1984 as a celebration for 100 years of the Fabians. The Fabians were into technology, and all the things written in the book 1984 was a insight to what the Fabians were introducing to the world! And now we see it come to be.
I've commented this several times on several blogs and was laughed at. But I don't care.
After Reagan recovered from the attempt to off him, was surrounded by Fabians. They wanted to be right there in his counsel to see what he was up to. They could not do another public attack.
They Say...why are you laughed at for that?
Elbro...I like to think you're right about the churches growing from having tax exemption taken away; I just don't see how. s'plain,!!
The Church always grows through difficulty and persecution
