Today, just four days in advance of the presidential elections, all the
news outlets (including Fox News) were using their spinning wheel to report on
the unemployment rate. The headline wasn’t
unemployment
rate hikes to 7.9% … it was 177,000 new jobs added with the
unemployment rate following in small print. Such drivel! The real unemployment rate is over 14% and yet you can believe that minorities, who have the highest unemployment numbers, will be lining up in droves to vote for Barack Hussein Obama.
It must have been something the media picked up from the old carnival barkers,
who also never cared much about what we thought of them. Well, no one ever accused the media of
integrity.

I also recall getting scammed.
My parents allowed me to get scammed. I learned my lesson.
Maybe my carnival experiences -- Especially those freak shows! -- are what turned me into quite the cynic.
Our current president has, indeed, reduced American politics to the level of a low-class sideshow in the cheapest and tawdriest of traveling carnivals.
An even better metaphor might be that of the itinerant "revivalist" preacher shoutin' inside the tent from his portable pulpit to the eager-to-be-deceived multitude of pathetic ignoramuses who seek a magical cure for all their ills.

The Fabian Socialist decided a long time agao that the best way to defeat capitalism was not by force but to destroy it from within. They patiently infiltrated and took over our education system,the media, and Hollywood. That is how they control the thinking (or lack of thinking) of so many of our people. The media, which was supposed to protect the public from overbearing government, has become the enemy of the people. We will know in a few days if they have finally achieved theor objective, or willl we get a reprieve?
177,000 is a decent number. At least job growth is higher than the level of entry into the workforce.
My suspicion is that my fringe right brethren believe this administration has changed the composition of the unemployment number.
Governor Olympics quotes the jobs number for his "plan" with no supporting description but the fringe right suckers swallow it whole.
In fact, you have no more idea than a rock how Mittens will expand this economy.

Actually there have not been any "new" jobs created. These so called new jobs are simply getting us back to where we were after Obama invaded the White House. We are gaining back lost jobs, no new jobs.

ZEE! Three days to go, and you are still taking in the national polls as gospel. They are all filled with a major league wrong assumption: that more Democrats will show up and vote for the Democrat than Republicans who show up and vote for the Republican.
Bad, bad BAD assumption: ALL Republicans registered to vote will show up and vote for Romney. All of them. And they will outnumber Democrats, take that to the bank.
And the Democrats who show up to vote will not ALL vote for Obama - he has let lots of those loyal Democrats down these last four years, whether it be immigration policy that he didn't deal with, closing Gitmo that he didn't do, or his gay agenda that he didn't implement, or the new car and the new kitchen that he didn't buy that lady in Detroit:
Romney is going to get some of those votes from disenfranchised Democrats who expected so much from this guy and he didn't deliver, take that to the bank as well.
Obama loses in a landslide, and no amount of skullduggery and ACORN slime will come close to changing the outcome.

Perhaps all those shiny new jobs are merely more media hacks, disguised as journalists? Every time I open my Yahoo mail I am confronted with myths and half truths, courtesy of "the media". I despise them. I really do.
After the Trayvon Martin debacle I will never look at "the media" the same way.

Want a good way to figure out the polls and know what is going to happen? Take what Dick Morris says and divide his enthusiasm in half. You will be VERY close to the truth.
And the New York Times endorsed McGovern over Nixon, Carter over Reagan, Mondale over Reagan, Dukakis over Bush I and Kerry over Bush II. So what of Salt Lake Tribune doesn't endorse Romney? I don't think newspaper endorsements carry the weight they did in the 19th century or even the first half of the 20th century. That's why I didn't get all excited when the Des Moines Register endorsed Romney. Papers have been hit and miss in their endorsements.
It might matter if Americans could still read, but they can't.
So ...
Democrat media. Will say anything. Will cover up anything. Will edit video and audio and alter video, audio and pictures.
Will lie like rugs all day long. Until people get tired of being treated this way.....
