Thanks, FF. Lots of words there, aren't there.

Edge...imagine that? Again, there are no words.

Good morning everyone. I've seen this photo before. This was taken during Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2003. I believe these soldiers are part of the 3rd. Infantry Division and were about to ''mount up'' and were heading towards Baghdad and into battle. I don't know if any of the troops in this was photo were wounded or killed but I do know the man leading holding the Bible is their captain and also a preacher. Have a wonderful week-end everyone. And remmeber the ral reason for this week-end. "In Flanders Fields the poppies blow/ between the crossses row on row...''. Johnnymac.

Elbro, what an experience! Glad there were no rotten eggs thrown at you!

Pris, Morgan, MK, Pinky, Cube..it's a wonderful picture, isnt' it!

Johnny Mac, thanks for that information...good to know. I pray they all survived and are home celebrating with their families today. I pray their memories aren't too scarred with death they probably saw.

tmw....absolutely true. We need to do more praying ourselves.

God Bless America and God Bless our soldiers and all of you....Best wishes to Australia, too, MK!!

Hail, Columbia, happy land!
Hail Ye heroes Heaven born band
Who fought and bled for Freedom's cause
Who fought and bled for Freedom's cause
And when the storm of war was gone
Enjoyed the peace your valor won.

Let Independence be our boast
Ever mindful what it cost
Ever grateful for the prize
Let its altar reach the skies.

Firm, united let us be
Rallying 'round our Liberty
As a band of brothers joined
Peace and safety we shall find.
