Mull THIS one over!

SOME IMPORTANT INSIDE SCOOP:

Rich Galen nails it about Scott McClellan. I'm kind of pleased to say I said much the same thing without benefit of his insider Washington knowledge yesterday when I posted my piece down below on the subject of McClellan's new book. He adds some VERY interesting perspective.

I thought Rich's information in his column, MULLINGS.COM, was worth posting here; well worth reading.........First, he discusses a little about his going to work for Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison (R,TX), so just scroll down a tad and you'll find his McClellan info.
Also, there's an article in which Ari Fleischer makes some sensible comments. It worth reading, too.
Let me just add something that sums this all up, I think: THIS SAYS A LOT MORE ABOUT MC CLELLAN THAN IT DOES ABOUT BUSH. AND IT WILL SAY A LOT ABOUT WHO HIRES MC CLELLAN NEXT. WATCH FOR IT.

I think Rich Galen sums up my impression of McClellan very well. No doubt many more share this impression.

It is difficult to imagine McClellan writing a compelling, comprehensive press release, let alone a book!

The worst part of all this is the willingness of the man to parade his dishonorable behavior as if it were a badge of honor.

I wonder, how much money is a man's soul worth these days?

Not much, I would be ashamed to be associated with such backstabbing. Wonder if it's a case of sour grapes because he wasn't part of the "inner circle"?
One should recognize their own shortcomings and work to strengthen them, instead of betraying a benefactor.
Good morning, G*D bless and Maranatha!

BTW-The first being to betray and turn on his Benefactor was satan, I wouldn't want to be counted among THAT crowd!

I agree with ALL of you ladies. Scott was such a crashing bore and non-entity as a spokesman that everyone wondered "what the hell is Bush keeping him around for!?" Ironically the Prez kept him around because he was a long time friend and he's always been loyal to friends.
Make as much as you can Scott, because you'll tire of your new buddies SOON, and good luck finding a job Benedict!

This was so cheap.

WHAT A VICTORY!

The Texas Supreme Court has ruled in favor of the PARENTS in the polygymous compound. This is STILL a country of free people!

Look, NO ONE is is favor of sexual abuse, but the government had gone hog wild and was farming all these kids out wholesale to foster parents!!! It was as if the Third Reich had descended upon the kook religious compound and was destroying ALL of their rights as Americans! They used a few cases of sexual abuse as an excuse to impose their will on a bunch of religous kooks.

Never forget that this country was settled by people who were considered religous kooks!

Chalk one up for freedom!

I've just finished reading my e-mail and am now on blogs. So, I've just read Rich's Mullings column I receive in my e-mail. Agree totally.

As a Texan, I'm happy to read he'll be working for Kay Bailey Hutchinson. I like his common sense approach to politics.

scott reminds me of the kid who liked sitting at the back of the class eating either his nose nuggets or paste.

anybody who revels in making trouble on this grand scale has some very serious issues with keeping and respecting their place.

have we ascertained if he even wrote the book or not? bwah! hope everybody realizes he's now the left's new hero.

pris - he's gone negative in the soul department.

and what tmw said!

I work with a guy who looks just like Scott McClellan. We just hired him last week. Think I'll go make fun of the new guy! :O)

I agree with everything said (above), and with Pris’ observation about dishonorable behavior. We have a lot of that going around these days. Galen as always hit the nail squarely on its head in his commentary (with ever-present humor); I’m glad he may be working for Kay Bailey-Hutcheson because if ever anyone needed someone with Galen’s intellectual honesty, she does. Imagine suggesting that the US should hand over high-tech weapons to the government of Mexico to help them deal with their border insurgency! Whatever we give to Mexico will end up in the hands of the gangsters . . . so I have to conclude that Kay definitely needs some adult supervision.

mustang, I thought so, too. Actually, I was surprised Rich would work for her after that dopey suggestion of hers.

I'm not sure he'll have that much sway on her, I don't think that's his expertise, but let's hope.

It'll be nice having someone like Galen here in TX, but Hutchinson isn't as conservative as she puts forth...a bit off-topic.

Just read Mustang and Z's comments, I concur.

RESUME FOR SCOTT MCCLELLAN:

Went to School

Became big buddy of Bush family through my mom.

Wiggled my way into the good graces of the gullible and oh, so trusting Bush family

Got a job with the Bushes

WOrked under Ari Fleischer

WOrked as Ari Fleischer but never really did too well at it

Got scared that the Bushes were leaving the White House and I'd better get some other way to make money...who'd hire ME, after all, with the way I bungled that job?

A liberal pubisher contacted me and said he had a Huffington Post author ready to write my story..did I mind if they lied and made up stuff about Bush if they paid me the big bucks?

Book was published...I'm making a fortune.

Maybe MSNBC will let me work under Olbermann. Or I could retire to Tahiti. Still making up my little mind.

Don't care what loyalty I was supposed to have towards the Bushes...I needed MONEY..."SHOW ME THE MONEY!"
