A note from Clarence Thomas

This is a note I got today from Justice Clarence Thomas in response to a note I wrote him about his wonderful book, "My Grandfather's Son" I highly recommend the book.
I'm not the only person who received a note after having written to him. I'm posting it not because this is so special to me (though it is, and I'll be framing it), but because it's special to America....that we have a Justice who'd bother to take this time from his schedule. Quite a man.

THAT is SO awesome Z!
Thank you for sharing it with us...I have wanted to get the book myself since I saw him interviewed by Sean Hannity a few months ago. Now I KNOW I want to read it.

The interview was SO wonderful, and yes, it showed him to be JUST that inspiring a personality that WOULD take the time to respond to someone who has taken the time to write to him..

I understand from an interview with Laura Ingrahm...I think by OReilly, that she is and has been friends with him since she clerked in the SC offices. She says the same wonderful things about him.

again, thanks

Elbro..........kevin bacon. DON'T!! (Smile)

NW...is that NEAT? We're definitely framing it. I have an Eleanor Roosevelt signature on a letter to the mother of my best friend who died almost 3 years ago...they'll hang next to each other, though I'm not really sure Thomas would approve!!

OK -- now share the address where to send our own letter to Clarence Thomas so maybe WE can have a response letter as well.

Frank Family...I just sent it to the Supreme Court.

Z, that's just inspiring. I've heard Laura Ingraham talk about him at length and it warms the heart to hear what she has to say.
Thanks so much for sharing this!
Makes me proud.

FJ, I sure will. I adore the man.
In my note I told him that, if I could, I'd want to apologize on behalf of the American people for the hideous, demeaning, and dishonest treatment by Biden and Metzenbaum during his justice hearings. It was far worse than we were led to believe in the media. FAR worse.

Elbro! You're a GENIUS..BUT....
this isn't good enough.

ELEANOR ROOSEVELT on the same wall with JUSTICE THOMAS?

PUHLEEZE!

If you must put Eleanor somewhere, put her in the BATHROOM where she belongs.

Justice Thomas should have a wall all to himself in your BEST room.
