Obama's MUSLIM ADVISOR.......wow

Dalia Mogahed is President Obama's "Adviser on Muslim Affairs" (what? Oh, I know...she must work alongside his Adviser to Christian Affairs or Jewish Affairs...oh, and that Buddist Affairs position he created, right? Oh, no.....just muslim, sorry, I forgot)....She was on British television this week ..... "During this week's broadcast, she described her White House role as "to convey... to the President and other public officials what it is Muslims want." WHAT THEY WANT?...HER words not anybody else's. Oh, except maybe that's how Obama portrayed her position? "Tell me what Muslims want" (What?)

HERE is the rest of the article from which I quoted above: "Miss Mogahed, who was born in Egypt and moved to America at the age of five, is the first veiled Muslim woman to serve in the White House." More from the article:

"The White House adviser made the remarks on a London-based TV discussion programme hosted by Ibtihal Bsis, a member of the extremist Hizb ut Tahrir party. ....The group believes in the non-violent destruction of Western democracy and the creation of an Islamic state under Sharia Law across the world.....Miss Mogahed appeared alongside Hizb ut Tahrir's national women's officer, Nazreen Nawaz."

What really bugs me is that I can't find the announcement of her position that was filled on a Friday afternoon (by the way, typical of this White House..that is when it's not leaking information on Saturday night, like Van Jones' resignation and other things). ....Because, her announcement picture WAS WITHOUT THE HEAD SCARF. Yes, believe me................interesting that she is a veiled woman but the picture they released did not include the veil.

Well, on the bright side, at least Obama's being informed about "WHAT MUSLIMS WANT". Isn't that a comfort to YOU? I'd love to tell him what Christians want, wouldn't you? What might you tell him, by the way?

The EMPIRE STATE BUILDING celebrating COMMUNISM IN CHINA?

GET A LOAD OF THIS: Have you heard that the Empire State Building will be bathed in yellow and red lights to celebrate the 60th year of Communism in China? Empire State Building turns red-yellow for China's 60th (AFP)

NEW YORK — New York's iconic Empire State Building will light up red and yellow Wednesday in honor of the 60th anniversary of communist China.

The Chinese consul, Peng Keyu, and other officials will take part in the lighting ceremony which will bathe the skyscraper in the colors of the People's Republic until Thursday, Empire State Building representatives said in a statement.

The upper sections of the building are regularly illuminated to mark special occasions, ranging from all blue to mark "Old Blue Eyes" Frank Sinatra's death in 1998 to green for the annual Saint Patrick's Day.

Just last week the tower turned bright red.

However, that was not to mark some other communist achievement, but the 70th anniversary of the film "The Wizard of Oz" in which Dorothy wears ruby slippers rather than the silver of the original L. Frank Baum novel.

I guess that the point is we honor Sinatra and St Patrick's Day and The Wizard of Oz with color..........why NOT COMMUNIST CHINA!? Is that YOUR take, too?

We are forgiving a $30,000,000 debt from Indonesia in exchange for a CONSERVATION PLAN.

Well, WE don't need the money, right? here's the LINK: We are NOT GOING TO GET THIRTY MILLION DOLLARS because......."Under the deal, Indonesia will pay the nearly $30 million into a trust over eight years instead of repaying it to the U.S. government. The trust will issue grants for critical forest conservation work in 13 forest areas in Sumatra.....

Conservation International, the U.S.-based conservancy group, helped organize the deal, and has contributed $1 million to help reduce the debt. "This is a huge boost for people and wildlife of Sumatra, and demonstrates a forward-looking policy on the part of the U.S. government," said Jatna Supriatna, vice president of Conservation International Indonesia."

How about helping US with OUR debt?
