Sitting Together at the State of the Union........

Did you hear about THIS?   Two senators, so far, have agreed to sit with each other during the State of the Union on January 25 (think they'll pass T shirts that say  "WE UNITED FOR THE STATE OF THE UNION?":-)
Anything Chuck Schumer says or does gives me pause (and nausea, I should add)...but I'm not sure where I stand (or sit) on this one...  ..What do you think....is it grandstanding hooey?
Two Republicans were on FOX this morning and beautifully and skillfully  (and disingenuously, in my opinion) evaded the question if they'd sit with Democrats.  Do they really have to wait a week and take the temperature of their fellow Republicans before they decide?  Don't they have opinions of their OWN?

I'm thinking more Democrats will agree to sit with the Republicans because they know that most of America probably likes the idea.........Americans are fair-minded and will applaud any sign of mending fences, especially when they see that the proverbial AISLE has grown wider than it's every probably been.......SO, the Dems will probably get great kudos in the media, as they usually do.....and any Republican who won't sit with a Dem will be touted as a nut who doesn't want unity.   That's how I think it'll be touted in the media, anyway.

Where do you stand.........er....SIT?

Gloria Allred pulled a fast one.............

Meg Whitman settled for $5,500.00 with her housekeeper, the one who probably lost her the election when Governor Brown's fan, Attorney Gloria Allred, brought out that, a YEAR AGO, the housekeeper was let go for having lied that she was legal to the Whitman family.

$5,500.00.  Gloria makes about $2,000 on that, so it's hard to tell why either of the women in the picture to the left are looking quite so happy (could there be monies both got we don't know about?), probably 1/100th of what she generally gets per case.   Any more evidence needed that this was a set-up about the election?
I don't think so, either.

Democrats DO think we're DUMBED DOWN.......

Michael Moore says the Democrats should run Oprah Winfrey and Tom Hanks for President and VP.   This is the mindset of the Far Left.............STAR power.......and, you know, these people could win, they really could.  In the linked article, he compares Oprah Winfrey's running as a star to Ronald Reagan's running as a star.   Yes, he does :-)
With the lack of knowledge we see in too many Americans, with a mindset of adults thinking it's okay to indoctrinate kids through singing the praise songs to Obama we've all heard, and the way our media writes celebrity headlines while really troubling problems are happening in America, many would vote for Oprah/Hanks, you know that.
There is no respect for dignity, integrity, intelligence, experience.......the fact that Michael Moore could even seriously promote this idea says so much about the far Left which are such fans of his.

IF YOU COULD NOMINATE 2 CELEBS FOR PRESIDENT AND VP, WHO WOULD THEY BE?

CNN thinks FOX is too biased? REALLY......??

THIS is just too rich not to post it.  CNN is "HONEST"?   Have you seen Wolf Blitzer cover ANY Palistine/Israel story!?  I actually start laughing at the anti-Israel bias he never stops showing. CNN had Rick Sanchez on for a very long time, was that unbiased journalism? CNN has only recently started inviting Conservative talking heads on......and, even then, barely ever.

How the heck long is CNN going to slam FOX for bias? It's laughable.   Are Geraldo Rivera, Kirsten Powers, Bob Beckell, Juan Williams, Pat Cadell, Doug Schoen, Caroline Heldman, Sheperd Smith, etc etc..., all REGULARS on FOX,  CONSERVATIVE?  :-)  No, they are not.

To my readers: PLEASE write down three names of Conservatives who are on at least 3 times a week on CNN.  Good luck. And enough said.;  STOP the silliness, CNN...thou really doth protest WAAAY too hard!  Oh, also........if you've ever EVER heard anyone critical of a liberal guest on Larry King Live, CNN's evening show, get to call in a question, jot that down, too, okay?    (don't waste too much time, it doesn't happen)

BY the way...on a related story, Keith Olbermann, after being reinstated at MSNBC, said this: "Jonah Goldberg, William Kristol, and Dana Lash probably treated me better than I would have treated them," because they stood up for him regardless of their political views being so different.  I haven't a shred of respect for this highly biased, nasty creep, but I do give credit where credit is due.  He got that right.  They're Republicans, they saw he was mistreated and stood up for him.  As he says, he wouldn't have done that.  They stood up for Juan Williams, too.......I'm very proud of that.

"RAP" your mind around THIS one....CONSERVATIVE RAP...

Ya, ya...I know you don't like rap, but YOU HAVE GOT TO HEAR THIS ONE!  It's fantastic!

I have to admit I've always kind of liked most rap;  if your head doesn't bob just a TAD while listening to this, I don't know what's wrong with your head! :-)

Juan Williams has been fired from NPR

Please read my very good friend Mustang's excellent post.  I wanted to write on Juan because I like him but Mustang nailed it and I figured, being a capitalist, I'd capitalize on his post :-)
I'll just add that I hope Juan Williams wakes up to the fact that his leftwinger buddies have a real problem with differing opinions. How "progressive."
I've heard Juan's one of the nicest guys in that business and he has a family, I hope he's hired elsewhere fast.
Oh, "SilvrLady" just emailed me THIS LINK....seems like we're not alone in our outrage at Juan's firing...

15 minutes of Network Television................

I've been lazy this morning and lolling around drinking tea and watching TV because we have had a lovely rainy few days here in West Los Angeles, a welcome change to "it never rains in sunny California"........I love it, it's dark, cozy, the kind of day when you want to stay inside.  I wish I could, I have to leave around noon, so I took advantage of the morning.  I looked at a book I'm reading but decided I was even too lazy to read and so I watched network television, something I almost never do.   Here's what I found:

The very early LA morning news, around 6:30 am, always (always) has women delivering the news in very low cut cocktail dresses with long, dangly earrings and stiletto heels. I do watch that from time to time, and it never fails to make me curious who'd ever dress like that so early in the morning.

CBS was talking about the political races getting tighter and tighter (which they are, folks, we need to be a little less optimistic and keep hammering friends/family to vote), Republican leads of a week or two ago are dwindling.   Here's one reason why they're dwindling:
During the short segment, CBS only discussed perceived gaffes, carefully edited, of Sharron Angle, Christine O'Donnell and Republican Buck from Colorado, whose highly important lead is shrinking by the second.  That was it...short snippets from Republican candidates to show why the gaffes they've made have their races  tightening, as if they were Dem campaign ads.  No mention of any gaffes by the Dems.....It was announced as "this is why the races are tightening" and that was that.  What it was, of course, was a great opportunity to show gaffes.......that's all.   Does the DNC pay for this kind of advertising by network TV?

Rachael Ray...She had on some couple which hosts a TV show called "Strictest Parents" (or something like that?)...they talked about how kids put vodka into their eye so they can get higher faster, how kids are choking each other and themselves for a thrill, and how kids can find 'how to make flame throwers' on the internet (all had videos as kind of a 'how to').   During the segment, the mother of this parental couple was smiling the whole time.  "Here's how they kill themselves" ..big smile.  Her advice was to sit your kids down and list these things and have them sign that they won't ever do them.  (Yes, I'm serious.)

There's a new show called "Whatever" with 2 women who interviewed a really quite charming guy who identified himself as gay ....  they were talking about electronics and he said he just learned to text last week (which is better than me, by the way), and one of the hostesses said "Jennifer's been having SEX by Text message for FIVE YEARS!?"    He, of course, had the good taste and sense to ask "Jennifer" if she didn't mind having been outed just then in front of millions of people and she said no, it was fine, it was 'liberating'.   Yes, I'm serious again. The guy came back with "I just can't text that fast"...which was so clever and amusing I had to hand it to him.  um.........anyway:

CNN had a man from Uganda talking about how some new Ugandan newspaper has published the faces, names, etc., of 100 homosexuals so they can be outed and chastised in society. It's a dreadful story.  Here's what got to me:  The CNN reporter talked about how homophobic Ugandans have been and then said that "US Missionaries have encouraged the legislature of Uganda to push for laws making homosexuality punishable by imprisonment or even death."   REALLY?    Uganda's population is 1/3 Muslim so this slant of CNN's was not only questionable, but probably utterly ridiculous.   Of course, we know how accepting Islam is to the gay lifestyle :-)   Do you personally know one Christian who's want to kill any homosexual?

BUT, ABC redeemed the morning for me and my channel surfing finally paid off BIG TIME: There was Leon Russell on their CONCERT SERIES.........with Elton John, but who cares about Sir Elton?  (well, okay, he's good, but LEON WAS ON!)  My LEON was there...looking a little worse for age wear than I'd have hoped, and singing new stuff which doesn't meet his earlier standards but I was one happy girl to see him, believe me!   Leon, YOU ROCK!

For the rest of the shows I had seen?......What a way to ruin an otherwise lovely rainy, cozy morning.

VOTE DEMOCRAT, kids! (there's ice cream in it if you do:-)

From THIS article "Three van loads of Hughes High students were taken last week – during school hours – to vote and given sample ballots only for Democratic candidates and then taken for ice cream, a Monday lawsuit alleges."

Yes, I KNOW that the kids can't vote, let's not waste time commenting on that ..... please let's not obfuscate the facts.  "The suit alleges three van loads of Hughes High students arrived at the Downtown Board of Elections offices at 1 p.m. Wednesday, supervised by a school employee. School lets out at 3:15 p.m.
When they got out of the vans, the students, the suit alleges, also were accompanied by adults who appeared to be campaign workers or supporters for U.S. Rep. Steve Driehaus, D-West Price Hill, the congressman being challenged this fall by Steve Chabot. When the students got out of the vans, the suit alleges they were given sample ballots containing only Democratic candidates."

Think this is a good idea?  We do want kids to see precincts and sample ballots, but do we need to only show one party on the ballots?  Does this teach or mind bend?  There's a suit filed, this has yet to be proven, but the evidence is pretty clear.  Also, who'd go to the authorities without a sample ballot in hand?
If you think this is innocent, tell us here at geeeZ why you think they'd only have ballots with Democrats on them, okay?  Thanks.

I'd say it could get interesting and should get national airing, but, with our media, this story will go away with the rest of them which make the Dems look bad; heck, even Gloria Allred bitched that Hillary voters were intimidated in Houston during the '08 primary!  By the way, what got her to quiet down??  She was angry, speaking out, and now the story.......disappeared, like MAGIC!

The Left and bad news.............

What is with the Leftwingers?
Remember THIS regarding Tony Snow?
How about THIS regarding Dick Cheney?
Now, as our blogger-buddy Chuck so rightly brought to our attention, we have THIS.

Have you seen Rightwingers say anything CLOSE to those kinds of things?

What's WITH these people? And what do you suppose would have happened in the media had a Republican wished that Barbara Boxer had gone down in a private plane crash (God FORBID)?
(by the way; check out the pictures below...some happy news always feels good!)

Feeling DEJECTED about politics?

A Cure for Political Dejection
I don't post LONG ARTICLES much but, TRUST ME, YOU could have written this and it'll MAKE YOU FEEL GOOD that someone ELSE GETS IT THIS WELL:
By for THE AMERICAN SPECTATOR: (Z: by the way, I had this ready to post and then heard Monday morning that Obama is now saying that those people fighting for the AZ law (I guess he's specifically picking on Gov Brewer now) just "want to make a name for themselves." If that doesn't make ANY American feel dejected, when your president suggests those who are fighting for what they think is right are just trying to 'make a name', then I don't know what would
Here is Hillyer's article:

I really don't know what to write. We have a president who is so divisive that two longstanding pollsters of his own party write that "President Obama's divisive approach to governance has weakened us as a people and paralyzed our political culture."

We have columnists for major newspapers who are so nastily partisan that they fail to do even the most basic of investigatory requirements before sliming good, honest, decent Americans such as Justice Department whistleblower J. Christian Adams.

We have congressmen so eager to play gotcha that they try to blame former presidents for failing to do a constitutional duty even when the well-reported facts are that the operatives for the president of the congressman's own party unwittingly were the culprits in the supposed problem at issue. (Yeah, you won't know what I'm talking about; that's why you absolutely must read this link.)

We have a major congressional committee chairman who has conniption fits about not being given a $1 senior-citizen's discount, but who won't apologize for costing taxpayers hundreds of billions of dollars by refusing for years to reform Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. (He also didn't seem too exercised about his boyfriend running a male prostitution ring out of his own basement, but that's another story.)

We have writers for publications respected by the "mainstream" media who are so vicious and dishonest that they would suggest randomly throwing around charges of racism without a shred of evidence -- a charge made the more despicable because one of the named victims of the smear happens to be one of the nicest, most decent people in all of Washington punditry or politics.

We have a national debt exploding so rapidly, by deliberate design of the president, that one almost believes he is trying to implement the Cloward-Piven strategy of manufactured crisis. Cause a political and economic cataclysm; use it as an excuse for radical executive orders and proto-martial law; that sort of thing. Again, I did say "almost." But we are getting to a point where it almost doesn't matter what the motivations are; the reality being created could have the same effect whether by intention or by autocratic reaction to the fruits of the leader's own incompetence.

We have a president who may as well have declared war on my home state. Or on the whole central Gulf Coast.

We have a speaker of the House so cynical (or batty) that she says we must pass a bill first in order to know what's in it, and a majority leader so accustomed to railroad jobs and internal autocracy that he actually makes fun of the idea of requiring that congressmen be allowed at least 72 hours to examine bills before voting on them.

We have Supreme Court nominees sailing through despite saying that genetic differences might make Latinas better judges (Sotomayor) and despite openly flouting the law to harm military recruiting in a time of war (Kagan), and despite wanting to rule that the Constitution forbids states from keeping currently incarcerated rapists and murderers from voting (Sotomayor) and despite manipulating both science and the law in order to keep the barbaric practice of partial birth abortion legal for another decade (Kagan). (Sorry, readers: I'm tired of providing links, but Google these things at the Washington Times and you'll find them.)

I could go on with other bad news, but I'm tired. I'm dejected. I'm disgusted. I'm furious. I'm disheartened and disillusioned.

I want fair play and integrity and intellectual consistency and common decency from all points on the political spectrum. But those attributes are not as prevalent on the right as they should be, and it seems they are almost nonexistent on the left. I don't mind honest and respectful disagreements; I am sickened by vicious attacks without substance.

And, dear reader, I assume you agree. I hate writing all these "I" sentences (yikes: I almost sound like Obama!), so let's make this about you. What are you going to do about all this? What do you want to see happen? How much do you care about your country and your community?

If you are reading this, the answer to the questions in the last sentence is probably "one heck of a lot." You care. You have aspirations for communities of freedom and comity. You want to stop all of these political horrors, and you want to stop cultural horrors not even touched upon here but that could take pages and pages of exposition. You want to believe in America. And, dare we say it without sounding too pie-in-the-sky, you want to do what Ronald Reagan said all good Americans want to do: "to dream heroic dreams." And to work to make them reality.

So get to it. Keep up your activism. Talk to your neighbors. Volunteer at campaign headquarters. Contribute financially to candidates. Make phone calls. Go to rallies. Write thoughtful and concise letters to the editor. Help register like-minded voters. Drive elderly or infirm like-minded voters to the polls in November.

Get involved and stay involved. For the sake of your country, your loved ones, your future. Our future. Together. As Americans. Go do it. Now.

Quin Hillyer is a senior editorial writer for The Washington Times and a senior editor of The American Spectator. He can be reached at Qhillyer@gmail.com. (thanks for the tip, Ron)

Z: 8:00AM Tuesday morning: I just watched CNN for a few minutes and want to take my hat off to Alan Chernoff, who did an excellent job ON CNN warning about Obama's desire to repeal the Bush tax cuts....he carefully showed how damaging this will be to most American families and included how their having less to spend into the economy will bring LESS income into the federal government...I've got to give credit where credit is due. Good job, Chernoff.

WILL hits it OUT OF THE PARK............and so does my friend

HERE is the transcript of one fantastic speech by the amazing George Will, the author of several books on politics and baseball. I don't always find myself agreeing with him but I sure do agree with every word he said in his speech to the Cato Institute in May. I do hope you read the whole linked article.... here are some terrific quotes (in italics) from it:
It is a principle of liberal social legislation that a program for the poor is a poor program. I believe that today, as has been the case for 100 years, and as will be the case for the foreseeable future, the American political argument is an argument between two Princetonians: James Madison of the class of 1771, and Thomas Woodrow Wilson of the class of 1879. I firmly believe that the most important decision taken anywhere in the 20th century was the decision where to locate the Princeton graduate college. Woodrow Wilson, then Princeton's president, wanted it located on the campus, others wanted it located, where it in fact is, up on the golf course away from campus. When Wilson lost that, he had one of his characteristic tantrums, went into politics, and ruined the 20th century. I'm simplifying a bit. Madison asserted that politics should take its bearings from human nature and from the natural rights with which we are endowed, and which preexist government. Woodrow Wilson, like all people steeped in the 19th century discovery that history is a proper noun - History - with a mind and a life of its own, argued that human nature is as malleable and changeable as history itself, and that it's the job of the state to regulate and guide the evolution of human nature and the changeable nature of the rights we are owed by the government that - in his view - dispenses rights. Madison said rights pre-exist government. Wilson said government exists to dispense whatever agenda of rights suits its fancy, and to annihilate, regulate, attenuate, or dilute others. Madison said the rights we are owed are those necessary for the individual pursuit of happiness. Wilson and the Progressives said the rights you deserve are those that will deliver material happiness to you, and spare you the strain and terror of striving. There are reasons to be downcast at the moment. Certain recent elections have not gone so well. Let me remind you, however, of something, again going back to 1964. In 1964 the liberal candidate got 90 percent of the electoral votes. Eight years later the liberal candidate got 3 percent of the electoral votes. This is a very changeable country.
Z:
Please, God.

Here is an email I got this morning from my friend who sent me the article above. I had asked her last night via email "what do YOU think of it?" My friend is a black American woman and she responds:

I liked and agreed with the article. I disagree with the direction that the country is headed under the Obama administration, but I am not foolish enough to think that all this madness began with him. For the past 30 or so years the country has been headed downhill, while at the same time technology has exploded. I can't tell if the two are connected -- I'm not that smart. But, what I do see is that the lack of concern for the sovereignty of our nation did not start in 2008 or 07, or 06 ... there has been a steady decline for decades. Furthermore, I believe that at the bottom of it there are those that will benefit greatly from the dismantling of America and you can rest assured, it won't be the American people. It is a sad state of affairs that the American people find themselves and, as long as "they" can keep us at each other's throats ... we won't know what hit us. It is still my firm and abiding belief that the ONLY solution for the American people is for us to stop and look at our neighbor with fresh eyes, not with the eyes that the media/Senate/Congress, etc. would like us to ... I think we will see that we are all struggling and that we all want a good life for our families. I think that the sharing of ideas will set this country ablaze with renewed energy for saving what is ours, AMERICA. Someone needs recognize that it is unfair that our children aren't allowed to learn about ALL ideologies, both conservative and liberal alike. It is so insane to me that liberals believe that their ideas are the ONLY ideas that count. This is crazy. Anyway ... I could go on and on ...but I won't bore you further.

Didn't bore ME, did it bore YOU, geeeZ readers? :-)

Gilbert and Sully-Man?

Remember the TV show ROSEANNE and the younger daughter character called Darlene? Here's a tidbit about what she's been up to (keep reading, I don't give a darn, either, but you will by the end of this).....
From Wikipedia: In her teens, Sara Gilbert became a vegetarian. Today, she supports numerous organizations such as PETA, Meals on Wheels, Freedom of Speech, Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, and the AIDS Project Los Angeles. She stated on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson in November 2008 that she has now adopted a vegan lifestyle.

She has been in a relationship with Allison Adler since 2002. They have a son, Levi Hank, born in October 2004 and a daughter, Sawyer, born on August 2, 2007. Adler is the birth mother of Levi and Gilbert is the birth mother of Sawyer.

Isn't all of that just precious? Sara is now producing and will be the main host(ess) of a show aiming to 'dethrone' The View, as the linked article puts it. She and "the co-hosts -- moms with children ranging in age from infant to adult -- will swap stories, challenge each other on issues and engage the studio audience and viewers at home about events in the headlines and their own homes through the lens of motherhood," CBS said in a news release Wednesday. "

I dare say it'll be through a whole other 'lens', too, having read her bio. Maybe they'll cover the benefits of childhood veganism and celebrate how "Mommy will have the experience of having one child THIS time and the OTHER Mommy will have the experience NEXT time!" or "You can say the F word, little Betsy, that's FREEDOM OF SPEECH!" Perhaps they'll discuss the VITAL importance of a strong father in a child's life, actually not sullying males for a change (just threw that in for comic relief through sarcasm! Wishful thinking, I guess). Or do you think they really might have a conservative celebrity mother/host with traditional values on to represent that side of America, at least 50% of our moms today? And, if they do, will they include another usually embarrassing woman like The View's Elisabeth Hasselbeck as their token conservative?

This is yet another reason the Hollywood types who are conservative need to step up to the bat, NOW (not when they 'think they're ready', as I've been told), and produce shows American women and America itself could actually benefit from.

Yes, yes, they're 'entitled'.............but SO ARE WE.

Please pay attention to this whole video..it's short and important. We need to know what's ahead if America continues to follow what Detroit's been doing since the Johnson administration......Unions, government promises, hopelessness. HOPElessness.
And as America struggles, Washington, DC BOOMS. Some 'change'.

Update on the Racist and the Farmer story:

UPDATE on the racist and the farmer story: CNN just had the farmer from the NAACP situation on (you'll see it on FOX tonight, I'm sure) and he says he "never met a nicer person" than Shirley Sherrod, the woman who said how angry she'd been at having to help a white man. Wolf Blitzer is saying it's a terrible 'blunder' by Obama not to have looked into this before demanding her resignation and his liberal journalists are agreeing that this was a terrible thing all the way around. I guess it's completely lost on ANY liberal that the NAACP audience laughed up a storm (he was white, she couldn't bring herself to help him) before she talked about finally having helped the farmer. Herein might lie the biggest problem with our media: Maybe they honestly DON'T have any integrity when they're more intent on their agenda? YATHINK!? :-) Are they really missing all the terrible things she said?
I'm not so sure Shirley Sherrod is what people are painting her to be, but she made ME feel uncomfortable as I listened to her explaining her thought processes when she was first confronted with having to help a white man.
And I shudder to think what would have happened to her had she been white talking about having to help a black man. (No, I don't really have to think about that..we know)

"Call them racists"

"CALL THEM RACISTS" the Leftwing of "journalism" suggests.........Please read the link...HERE is more information, written by Andrew Breitbart..... Apparently, there are more quotes between liberal journalists in emails which have been discovered (dare we hope that some liberal journalists, too, are sick of the bias and actually have ethics enough to have divulged these emails?) and which are forthcoming and I'll try to post them as I hear them. Could it be that people like Breitbart are actually getting the truth about the mainstream media's bias OUT? Or is it that the bias is so obvious now that it's difficult to hide? Or are the liberal journalists slipping in covering for themselves because it's been so easy so far?

One paragraph from the first link is here:
"In one instance, Spencer Ackerman of the Washington Independent urged his colleagues to deflect attention from Obama’s relationship with Wright by changing the subject. Pick one of Obama’s conservative critics, Ackerman wrote, “Fred Barnes, Karl Rove, who cares — and call them racists.”

NAACP RACISM revealed by BREITBART..and an update

PLEASE see the video at Mustang's blog...Andrew Breitbart exposed this story and we all need to support him and his blog(s). HERE is his other one (By the way, read Wikipedia on him, it's so biased you should read it when you're in a bad mood, it'll make you laugh out loud. I know him a little and know a lot about him and I think he's one of the nicest guys around, but they don't! Well, he is a Conservative, after all, who left liberal ranks, so he's a traitor).
Andrew is up against a HUGE media conglomerate which won't present to the country the truth he's finding (matter of fact, they're still turning away Gigi Gaston's documentary WE WILL NOT BE SILENCED, about the 2008 TX primary where Obama people were telling little old ladies outside polls "If you're not voting for Obama, GO HOME"(and worse).) You'd think the American media would want to tell all of America about that,
WOULDN'T you?
If the NAACP was a group made of mostly conservative white people and ANYBODY spoke like the woman speaks in the video at Mustang's, do you think the media would ignore it?! (I know, stop laughing!!)

See the NAACP video and see that laughed-over and applauded, blatant, hateful racism and learn some truth. It's good for all of us. Poor America.
UPDATE: The woman's resignation for having been so racist has been accepted as of this evening.

Voter Fraud and Intimidation........details you should know

IF OBAMA DOESN’T WANT TO NEUTER YOUR VOTE, WHY IS HE ACTING LIKE IT?

By our friend and commenter Deborah at Bayside

It’s a good rule of thumb that if you want more of something you make it easy. Want MORE bad behavior? Make it easy to get away with. Like voter fraud.

Journalist John Fund addressed this in his book Stealing Elections and has written a new primer on the gathering storm of election fraud that threatens our democracy, How the Obama Administrations Threatens to Undermind Our Elections.

The US Civil Rights Commission is investigating Obama’s shocking dismissal of the voter intimidation case against the Black Panthers in Philadelphia. Fund, in a recent interview with Dennis Prager, probed voting abuses sanctioned by the Obamians.

Red Alert!! A tsunami is coming.

The Voting Rights Act of 1965 says you can’t intimidate or impede people from voting. It’s usually enforced for infringing minority rights. But not always. When a black political boss in Mississippi was throwing people off the rolls because he didn’t like the way they voted, the Justice Dept. shut him down.

Is Obama actually obstructing the Civil Rights Commission?

Fox News reported on 7-6-10 “it's unclear how far the Commission will get [in the Panther investigation]. The Commissioners want to hear from Christopher Coates, the former chief of the Justice Department's voting section, but the commission claims the Justice Department is blocking Coates from testifying about why the case was dropped.”

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2010/07/06/ex-official-accuses-justice-department-racial-bias-black-panther-case/

Why is Coates important and credible? His roots are as an ACLU attorney, and he’s one of the most celebrated civil rights attorneys - ever. According to Fund “he cracked down on all kinds of voting intimidation cases in the South.” He headed the DOJ’s Voting Rights Section and intended to pursue the Black Panther case. Even the very left American Prospect makes that clear: http://www.prospect.org/cs/articles?article=the_battle_for_voting_rights.

But Coates was transferred from Washington DC to Charleston SC and away from voting civil rights cases this January.

Why does his “exile to Siberia” matter? John Fund reports the Commission has an arcane rule: you can't subpoena anyone over 50 miles from Washington DC. And now Coates is conveniently outside that limit. So – unless he quits his job like Adams - he can't be subpoenaed to shed light on the machinations in the Obama DOJ.

Which brings us to Round 2: the Motor Voter Law. And Julie Fernandes.*

Motor Voter is federal law. The DOJ enforces it. It requires postcard registration in every state. The opportunity for easy cheating is rampant. So at least it requires states to purge their voter rolls of ineligible names - dead people, felons, illegals, moved aways, absentees who don’t exist, etc.

So why has the Obama administration said they're "never going to tell the states or sue the states saying that you have to clean up your voter rolls” to quote Fund?

Obama's Deputy Assistant Attorney General Julie Fernandes spilled the beans. "We're not interested in those kind of cases” she said. “What do they have to do with helping increase minority access and turnout? We want to increase access to the ballot, not limit it."

Her idea of "access' to the ballot is letting a bunch of ineligible voters stay on the rolls? For “access” to what? Rampant cheating! What else could possibly be inferred? That’s quite the opposite of “access to the ballot” Missy! When you swamp clean votes with dirty ones you deny my “access” as a legitimate voter to be heard fairly. Ms. F is a smart cookie. Do you think this has escaped her notice?

She’s one of the Obama appointees who shut down the Panther case. Her bio claims she “successfully led the civil rights community's effort to reauthorize the Voting Rights Act of 1965.” Oh – that’s the one that says you can’t intimidate or impede people from voting. Yet former DOJ attorney Christian Adams testified before the US Civil Rights Commission that she announced at a policy meeting "the voting section will not bring any other cases against blacks and other minorities." Yikers! It’s 1965 all over again.

Our voting rights are in serious jeopardy with the likes of bad apples like this.

Want to see the enemy in action? Watch her torture reason beyond recognition: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bL0SFqFfEE8

Want MORE voter fraud? Make it easy to get away with.

>> Change – the kind Obama believes in, apparently.

*These driveby attorneys don’t just come out of nowhere. Like termites, they’ve been eating away at the structure for years. Fernandes’ lefty pedigree includes: - Senior policy analyst and senior counsel at the Leadership Conference on Civil Rights.Focused on policy development and advocacy in the areas of voting rights among others.- Worked for the DOJ under the controversial Bill Lann Lee (remember him?). Focused on voting rights, among others.- Special Assistant to President Clinton’s White House Domestic Policy Council.

THANK YOU, Deborah at Bayside....your research and having put this together as you did is enlightening and should be read by every American. Alas, it will not, and this whole nightmare will be swept under the carpet like so much else these days.

The scariest Obama administration story yet:

The fact that the Black Panther case was dropped is so staggeringly scary that I don't know what to say other than "This is a DEMOCRACY? ...when voters CAN be intimidated IF it's a Black guy intimidating a WHITE guy?" Please see the interviews in my videos HERE if you haven't heard the details of this story. If you haven't time to see all 3 videos, make SURE you watch the bottom one...the liberal civil rights attorney who tells the unbiased, unpartisan TRUTH about Obama and Holder's Dept of "Justice"; The mainstream media's barely covered it. If at all?
I'd really like someone to take Holder's side on this.....I'd really like to see the argument.

Obama and other Democrat politicians....A STARK contrast to other administrations?

In case some of you missed seeing this on TV Wednesday night, please watch this.....you only have to watch into the third minute to get your nose full (as they say in Germany), believe me. Is THIS awful, belittling sarcasm what we need to help our country? Do any constituents deserve this treatment, especially thoughtful constituents intensely worried about illegal immigration?
Then we have Obama talking about "calling their bluff" about Republicans. What kind of talk is that from a President of these United States? Let's not talk content this time, that's a whole other post, but let's talk
ATTITUDE, DECORUM, DIGNITY. And I believe he said this in Toronto in front of the world; is this helpful?

California Congressman Pete Stark addresses people worried about the border. Obama addressees people about the economy. These are really important subjects Americans are very worried about, why can't the Democrats address the people better than this? Whether you're a Bush fan or not, please find an example of his using demeaning sarcasm or thug talk ... I'd like to see that. I don't believe it exists. Even Democrats will admit he took a terrible beating by the left constantly...yet he held his tongue, even when the Dixie Chicks insulted our country IN EUROPE! Bush's comment was ''the Dixie Chicks are free to speak their mind,'' adding, ''they shouldn't have their feelings hurt just because some people don't want to buy their records when they speak out. You know, freedom is a two-way street," to which Maines of the Dixie Chicks responded with "he's a dumb F...," to which he had no public response. Martin Sheen called Bush's quote 'bullying!' You think Sheen thinks Congressman Stark is a bully? (smile)
Why must Democrats like Stark and our own President do what they do? Like when Joe the Plumber got SO hosed for only asking a polite question, and like the custard guy who Biden called a "smart a$$"... WHY?
