Special Report with Bret Baier last night:
http://www.foxnews.com/on-air/special-report-bret-baier/blog/2013/11/08/here-email-i-read-air-tonightHere is the email I read on the air tonight

This message came to us from Bill in Kentucky.

"Putting things in perspective: March 21st 2010 to October 1 2013 is 3 years, 6 months, 10 days. December 7, 1941 to May 8, 1945 is 3 years, 5 months, 1 day. What this means is that in the time we were attacked at Pearl Harbor to the day Germany surrendered is not enough time for this progressive federal government to build a working webpage. Mobilization of millions, building tens of thousands of tanks, planes, jeeps, subs, cruisers, destroyers, torpedoes, millions upon millions of guns, bombs, ammo, etc. Turning the tide in North Africa, Invading Italy, D-Day, Battle of the Bulge, Race to Berlin - all while we were also fighting the Japanese in the Pacific!! And in that amount of time - this administration can't build a working webpage."

The Government website, if and when it works, can you find a copy of the actual policy that you will be buying ..BUT not until AFTER you buy the policy. . I am going to have to rank that right up there with the famous Nancy Pelosi quotation.
In other words, You Have To Buy The Policy So That You Can Read it!
People Get the Governments They Deserve Folks, we’ve done it to ourselves. We’ve allowed these people who’ve taken over our country to have so much control over everything and everyone that we have led ourselves to the deterioration of America . . So now what?
We have allowed Michelle Obama to dictate what we can or should eat, and we’ve allowed Michael Bloomberg to tell us what wh should and can drink and how much of it we can drink . And now we see our country sinking further into fascism.

Face it my fellow racists! ObamaCare is here to stay, and I’m afraid that this is just the beginning. Just ask your next door Liberal neighbor. Where were all of you Obama haters when Sarah Palin tried to tell you that. You called her Nuts, and Crazy and every dirty name in the book, as you did and still do to Rush Limbaugh. But she was right and so was Rush! But you continued to hear the propaganda from the left and guess what? Here we are, just a few steps from Socialism. we will continue to deteriorate here in America because we have this Ignorant bunch of uninformed degenerates, so called Progressive freaks out there who are determined kill this one-time Great country. Yes, Ignorance is bliss.
How sad it is to see this country deteriorate. America was supposed to be the Land of Opportunity, a place where anyone could pursue one’s dreams. Now it’s a place where the Sheeple, these liberal loons to come to get their “Free Stuff and kiss the behind of the one who feeds them. I can't understand why anyone (aside from the Free-Loaders.) in this country still worships His bullshit,..
We see Americans going along with surveillance, our phone calls are no longer private, even the IRS is corrupt, we are seeing the destruction of our civil liberties, the dismantling of our Constitution, and the lefties seem to be very happy. As they say.. People get the governments they deserve.
I can understand if you are liberal, then you naturally push liberalism, but if you are sane, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?

In economic news...

Total nonfarm payroll employment rose by 204,000 in October, and the unemployment rate was little changed at 7.3 percent, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today.

---

The civilian labor force was down by 720,000 in October. The labor force participation rate fell by 0.4 percentage point to 62.8 percent over the month. Total employment as measured by the household survey fell by 735,000 over the month and the employment-population ratio declined by 0.3 percentage point to 58.3 percent.

The job market loses a net 3/4 of million jobs, but the markets took this as "good news"???

In what fantasy land does the MSM reside? And the overall unemployment rate doesn't change??? Talk about "cooked books"...

Being optimistic these says is getting harder and harder, but if we are the just about the only good news of the week was the reelection of Chris Christie. of course it was a no-brainer because, of the loser they decided to run against him, I guess that was so that they wouldn’t want to waste anyone that was even close to being a winner. So it looks as fi that big win was a sign that he is is once again tremendously popular. He’s has once again regained his popularity with the hardcore conservatives, and we will probably see him in a race against Hillary Clinton in 2016, As for how he would do against Ms. Thighness? I think that many of her one time base are throughly sick of seeing all of that bad news and that they would vote for Chris Christie, having learned the lessons of the 2012 election that reelected his Holiness Barack Obama.

My gut tells me that the 2014 midterm elections will be a bloodbath for the Democratic Party and there’s a very good chance that it might flow over to the 2016 Presidential elections. . It’s NO secret that Obamacare will have deprived millions of voters of their Insurance companies as well as some of their physicians, their preferred insurance companies will be gone and if not they will have driven up the costs of the “so called” government-“approved” plans. O think that voters will be pulling the lever for anyone but Democrats, even Mickey Mouse if he runs as a Republican .The political pendulum swung back to the GOB, no question about that, it will be Christie over Hillary? Without a doubt. President Obama has made it clear that his goal is the destruction of the U.S. economy.

...but then again, THEY are Marxist fetishists... NOT Lacanians ones:

In the predominant Marxist perspective the ideological gaze is a partial gaze overlooking the totality of social relations, whereas in the Lacanian perspective ideology rather designates a totality set on effacing the traces of its own impossibility.

This difference corresponds to the one that distinguishes the Marxian from the Freudian notion of fetishism: In the former, a fetish conceals the positive network of social relations, whereas in the latter a fetish conceals the lack (castration) around which the symbolic network is articulated.
- Zizek, "The Sublime Object of Ideology"

So in other words, the American Democratic Party is ALL about concealing its' Marxist network of political connections... not about concealing any "lack" of them.

I got my health insurance "bybye" today, folks! Seriously.
Says they wrote weeks ago, they didn't. Giving me two options...one to decide by 12/6, the other by March. I don't have to even bother reading the details because, as God would have it, I'm working full time and am canceling the private insurance I've had with one company for 35 years, anyway :-)

I believe with millions who have lost their healthcare coverage, is part of the Obama plan. The President has said he want's a single payer plan, and this is right up his alley.

He can say what he wants, but not many believe him anymore. To me, he doesn't care how much the American people are hurting. What he wants is single payer, and is determined to get just that, no matter what it takes.

Obama is a cold dictator and Marxism, control, and power, is the be all and end all to him!

Time for a break from politics. I went out to Worcester for the last weekend of Gary Winogrand's photography exhibition.

It features photographs of women exclusively and inevitable the question is whether or not this is mere objectification.

I've always felt Winogrand to be mean spirited and after seeing the show a third time I have to conclude that he is primarily concerned with being provocative. He carried that Leica like an old west outlaw carried a Colt but he damn well knew how to get the shot.

Still, rather than any sense of intimacy or fellow feeling you come away with a sense of exploitation despite his technical chops.

Just what are street photographers trying to do and is it of any importance? Winogrand was never interested in answering questions, that much I know.

Any of you familiar with his work?

The BIGGEST LIE ever told is the left keeps repeating it and it has been going on since 2003.
The lie? That Bush or anyone else lied us into a war with Iraq.

3 separate Congressional investigations one run by the democrats, all determined without a shadow of a doubt that no one lied to get us into that war.
And yet 10 years later the left keeps repeating it when ever they are caught in a lie, as if claiming one lie justifies another.
Since we haven’t found WMD in Iraq, a lot of the anti-war/anti-Bush crowd is saying that the Bush administration lied about Iraq’s weapons of mass destruction. Well, if they’re going to claim that the Bush administration lied, then there sure are a lot of other people, including quite a few prominent Democrats, who have told the same “LIES”.
Hillary Clinton, Wesley Clark. Barbara Boxer, Tom Daschle, John Edwards, Dick Gephard, Al Gore, Madeline Albright. Joe Lieberman, Dianne Feinstein,“I will be voting to give the president of the United States the authority to use force – if necessary – to disarm Saddam Hussein because I believe that a deadly arsenal of weapons of mass destruction in his hands is a real and grave threat to our security.” — John F. Kerry, Bill Clinton, “We have known for many years that Saddam Hussein is seeking and developing weapons of mass destruction.” — Ted Kennedy, “As a member of the House Intelligence Committee, I am keenly aware that the proliferation of chemical and biological weapons is an issue of grave importance to all nations. Saddam Hussein has been engaged in the development of weapons of mass destruction technology which is a threat to countries in the region and he has made a mockery of the weapons inspection process.” Nancy Pelosi,
The latest? Obama is caught in a bald faced lie claiming we misunderstood him when he clearly stated NO ONE would lose their insurance or doctors. So to defend him the usual suspects are busy claiming if Obama lied it is no worse then when Bush lied. Except Bush did not lie. And we have 3 entirely separate investigations to prove it. Further we have 8 years of comments from Clinton and his officials to prove it as well..

If you like your doctor, you will be able to keep your doctor, period ! If you like your healthcare plan, you will be able to keep your healthcare plan, period !

There are roughly 40 different videos of him saying that exact quote, yet he never even attempted to put it into plain language or explain the conditional part of the promise. Somewhere in those sentences he clearly stated that we would not likely get to keep what we have, but he just had to talk over our heads so we wouldn't grasp what he was saying.

So maybe the media played a dirty trick by cutting off the mic in the middle of his promise so we didn't hear the rest of it. Either that, or someone is telling us BIG, BIG, freaken LIE! Something funny is going on here, for sure.

Advice for Me. Obama, people really areńt that stupid.

HERE'S THE RUB, DUCKY:

Obama distinctly said that it's mostly (or only?) those who bought policies BEFORE the ACA was signed who'd have policies rescinded..(I believe he said 3 1/2 years)and I've had my Blue Shield now for about 35 years...

Ducky,
Winogrand doesn't only photograph women, I know that. So, if he puts together a show of only his women photographs, does that say he objectifies women? I think not, personally.

His stuff, to me, appears to be pretty good photos taken by a guy who had his camera with him ALL the time or he'd never get the quirky stuff he gets like the monkey in the convertible, etc....
make sense?

Imp, Callahan didn't photograph women so much as he photographed his wife, with whom he was clearly madly in love. But yes, I had forgotten about that series he did on female pedestrians. His were strictly head shots, however. Winogrand is clearly drawn to more general anatomy.

Obama, by comparison, was not lying merely to prevent a company from losing value.

His fraud was, first, to induce passage of a plan designed gradually to destroy the private health-insurance market — a plan that barely passed and never would have been enacted if he’d been honest.

And later, his fraud was to procure his reelection and the guaranteed implementation of Obamacare; had he been honest, he would have been defeated and Obamacare forestalled.

Barack Obama is guilty of fraud — serial fraud — that is orders of magnitude more serious than frauds the Justice Department routinely prosecutes, and that courts punish harshly. The victims will be out billions of dollars, quite apart from other anxiety and disruption that will befall them.

The president will not be prosecuted, of course, but that is immaterial. Asdiscussed here before, the remedy for profound presidential corruption is political, not legal. It is impeachment and removal. “High crimes and misdemeanors” — the Constitution’s predicate for impeachment — need not be indictable offenses under the criminal code. “They relate chiefly,” Hamilton explained in Federalist No. 65, “to injuries done immediately to the society itself.” They involve scandalous breaches of the public trust by officials in whom solemn fiduciary duties are reposed — like a president who looks Americans in the eye and declares, repeatedly, that they can keep their health insurance plans . . . even as he studiously orchestrates the regulatory termination of those plans; even as he shifts blame to the insurance companies for his malfeasance — just as he shifted blame to a hapless video producer for his shocking dereliction of duty during the Benghazi massacre.

It is highly unlikely that Barack Obama will ever be impeached. It is certain that he will never again be trusted.

Republicans and sensible Democrats take heed: The nation may not have the stomach to remove a charlatan, but the nation knows he is a charlatan.

The American people will not think twice about taking out their frustration and mounting anger on those who collaborate in his schemes.

Z,
I got my health insurance "bybye" today

The anniversary date of my policy is April 1. I hope that I don't get a cancellation notice because, as a self-employed individual, I do not have access to employer-based insurance.

Not that the lack of such access will matter in 2015. Under present regulations, employer-based policies will come under ObamaCare requirements in 2015 -- at high premium rates. Or so I've read.

Rita said...

I wrote a post about this issue yesterday. Obama can't fix this mess now even if he DID want to. It's too late in the year.

And if they take down the exchange, there would NO way for those people whose policies were cancelled to get any type of health insurance.

What sickens me is they didn't succeed in getting the chronically uninsured insurance, they only succeeded in their original quest to kill the insurance industry.

I'm just praying there will finally be enough of the ignorant voters who elected these yahoos that realize the mess the progressives have left us with to rid us of them for decades to come.

JonBerg said...
