Z - The big white block is so nice. I wish I could see what it is.

We need stories like this, Z ... we really do. Thank you so much for putting this up.

I loved this, too.
Sad thing is we'll get 5 comments here because people really DO want to fight.

The tears of that boy flowed because there is so little opportunity to feel GOOD about himself anymore.....let's hope these kids feel this emotion of the wonders of giving and making someone happy forever.

@Z:

Well...that certainly made my day!

"I complained I had no shoes...until I saw the man with no feet".

They're all magnificent...Hero's.

If I followed football maybe I'd understand the significance of blowing the play near the goal. But I was very touched by the last youngster interviewed - learning to see beyond himself. For a very selfish generation (as in yesterday's post) this is a monumental lesson and wonderful example.

@Bay:

They didn't "blow" the play. They merely decided to down the ball at the one yard line, while they still has possession.

They then handed the ball to the special kid, surrounded him like a moving wedge, and rushed him into the end zone so he could score.

Muslims beards, Yamulkes, Sikh head gear, 3 pull up requirement? Nope.

Ovomit has just destroyed the services...in 5 years. And Major Hassan still breathes.

Imp, I DO hope you've seen REMEMBER THE TITANS.....SUCH a fabulous movie!

Kid, I'm considering posting on that...yup; siekhs can wear their turbans, tattoos, muslims can wear beards now...that's the new american joke of an army.
When hippies want to wear long hair, they're going to DENY them?

unBELIEVABLE

Kid said...

Z, unBELIEVABLE comes by the minute now. Which is Unbelievable isn't it?

I sure don't get the kids (some of them). It's scary. I was stupid once, I was Never THIS stupid...

Imp - I don't understand your comment about 'downing the ball' but appreciate the effort to help!

Impertinent said...

@Bay:

OK...all the ball carrier does is stop where he is, kneel down on one knee...as long as he has possession of the football...that indicates he's "safe" and that's where the next play will start from for the team holding the ball.

So they were very close to the touch down zone ( inches or feet, I don't know which ) they handed the ball to the special kid while surrounding him to protect him from being tackled / stopped before he could cross the goal line. The kid steps over the goal line...Presto...touchdown and the special kid scores one for the team.

I Love to be posted on. Let alone by the fabulous Z.

Baysider said...

Okay, Imp. Thanks! :)

Impertinent said...

@Bay:

My pleasure Bay...that's what they mean by "downing" the ball.

Understand now?

From Z:

Imp; Mustang's take on that...I agree.
Better than my writing on it, I'll weigh in, but I'd like him to do that.
I'll email him now.
