Yesterday it was nearly 80 degrees, and today the high was in the 30's.

Florida weather is crazy too. It's been cold the last few days (OK, cold for us is 60 degrees during the day, so cold is relative), but today it warmed up & we went back to shorts.
If only it would snow instead of... Snain & Snice.
Hey, California, your rain is our snow on the other side of the Sierra. It's kind of a nice one this time, heavy and cold enough not to melt and refreeze as ice yet. I carry a bag of kitty litter for traction anyway. Long as it rains on you it's going to snow on us.
Cute cat. Somebody's little chihuahua was having fun in our snow earlier today.
For us SoCal residents, this is a torrential downpour. I'm worried about mudslides. I just saw that the Fire Department in Pasadena is handing out free sandbags and sand. Scary.
Poor California, it IS getting serious, isn't it? Just saw this story about a mudslide causing two deaths already, in an area that had been through the fires recently.

I smile when my off-spring complains about the weather here in CA-it's brisk today--but I remember Michigan -vaguely-(I've been here awhile) and just can't complain :-)
