Sunday Faith Blog

HERE is a wonderful story of people from different religions working side by side in Israel.  Jew and Muslim happy to be working together and delighted to see each others' faiths in action; an amazing video.  You will not be sorry if you watch.  We need to pray that more and more companies do this type of thing.  I do know that Palestinians have worked in Israel for years, but this story really touched me.

"Do not say "I'll pay you back for this wrong!"  Wait for the Lord, and he will deliver you."  Proverbs 20:22

The people in the video are not carrying grudges, in their desire to provide better for their families than they could in their home villages, they are earning really good salaries and working side by side with who the world would call their enemies but who are really now their friends.

Have a great Sunday...the video will start it off well!

This is more a commentary on the benefits of capitalism vs the socialism that wants to see the "occupying" factory shut down, ending those well-paying jobs.
That's still good.

Ed, exactly right...the socialists in Europe are boycotting products from this plant, imagine?

Capitalism, Socialism, or whatever, this still does show Muslims and Jews happily working shoulder to shoulder; putting aside the hate politicians tell them to live by, and realizing they don't need to hate.

That's true and it is your point. Laying down hurts and prejudices. And prospering by that.

Z - What an inspiring video. It's too bad that there are those who are against this factory.

Brotherhood is present there.

Hope your Sunday is good - Z.

Very uplifting...especially the closing with the house and the kids.

However...I wonder where all that money that we send to the PLA goes? They certainly don't use it to better the lives of their own Palestinians, do they?

Wonder if Foggy Bottom ever saw this?

Where's the video of Palestinians letting Jews work in an homemade artillery rocket factory?

Z said...

beamish..very true. If I'm not mistaken Israelis cannot work outside Israel's surrounding areas per the PLO. Artillery factory or not.

This is a HUGE step and it's not a single case; if the UN would only pay attention to these things instead of seemingly fanning the flames of HATE.

Imp, isn't that touching?

As GOlda Meir once said "Jews will be safe once Palestinians love their children more than they hate Jews" (I paraphrase, but I'm close)

Sue, sometimes you show such wisdom; more and more, actually (as if I'm the harbinger of who's wise?!!!)...but seriously BROTHERHOOD is exactly the key. Thanks for that.

Yes, ED! Prospering from SUCCESS! Hey, I think AMerica was like that under the hands of conservative Christians all these last 230 years or so .... the last twenty, notsomuch :-(

Americans are suffering from too much "help" from Centralized Power. It has a weakening, depressing, demotivating effect.

I haven't seen the video yet, but I do know if thrown together to work for a common purpose, most people lay aside their differences and cooperate beautifully.

This is most evident in cases of dire emergency.

Remember when Captain Sully landed that plane landed in the middle of the Hudson River?

No one panicked. No one screamed. No one pushed or shoved to try to get out first. Everyone walked off the plane calmly -- in the MIDDLE of he HUDSON RIVER! -- as though it were a natural occurrence.

A miracle? No! Just human beings thrown by an emergency into contact with their better angels.

I'm so glad you presented his story. There is more hope for us than the AGITATORS in the ENEMEDIA want us to believe.

Q: In which Middle Eastern country do Muslims enjoy the most freedom, prosperity and security?

A: Israel!
