Did you hear he voted for the FISA Law today - after he said he would not as recently as in February '08. I heard his constituents are furious with him and leaving some saucy remarks at his site.
I am telling everyone this guy is a worse flip flop than John Kerry. OMG!

Anyone who has the faintest clue about the costs of publishing official documents in a score of languages – to accommodate those who choose not to learn and speak English, would not be cheering such inane remarks. I find it interesting that individuals from European and Asian countries never needed any prompting to learn English, but Obama wants every child to learn Spanish … well, screw that! I refuse to press 1 for English; I simply will not do business with people who reinforce negative behavior.
It is true that many (if not most) Europeans are bilingual. They have to be. America’s relative isolation from everyone else never created the necessity to learn foreign languages. Most international corporations communicate in English, by the way. Now I suppose it is possible for American schools to implement bilingual training, were it not for these salient facts: (1) Our students don’t even master English; (2) The quality of our language training syllabus (not to mention the students themselves) is appalling; and (3) Without the capacity to speak the language (i.e., practice it), individuals cannot gain nor maintain language proficiency. Also, language proficiency appears when the speaker can “think” in the foreign language.
So – once again, Obama is full of tooky.
Just last week a black politician (sorry can't remember her name), said if the people in New Orleans had been instructed in "street language", they would have known what to do during Katrina!! Huh?
And Obama wants us to learn French? Maybe Americans learning english makes more sense.
And by the way, Barack, when American tourists go anywhere, the locals are more interested in the universal language. Money!
Is there anything about Americans that this guy likes?
Gunowners? Nope.
Devout Christians? Nope.
Our generosity? Nope, not good enough.
Our young people? Nope, he proposes mandatory volunteerism (?)
He doesn't even like the way we eat. We're just too selfish, "eating whatever we want".
In fact, his speeches are full of disdain for just about everything American, and Americans in general.
Barack Obama is an internationalist snob. His arrogance is painfully evident.
Sure it would be great if we all knew other languages, but, with all due respect Mr. Obama, we don't need politicians micro-managing our lives. Somehow, this has become a pastime for too many politicians.
Frankly, Mr. Obama, you have become a bore.

I think everyone should learn English. And if Americans want to learn another language...they should and if they don't...they don't.

Some of my friends who've used coke...tell me that when you snort it...it drips down the back of your throat and affects your speech. Now we know he's admitted to using it...maybe he still does?
