America may fail....here's why

This is an amazing video.  Sadly, it starts with "If I wanted America to fail.."  I say 'sadly' because some of you will think it's the Paul Harvey email many of us received lately and you won't watch this.  It is NOT THAT...it's MUCH more poignant and much more clear about what is happening in America today and how we are doing exactly what could cause our great country to finally fail,  viz. the Left's policies and sentiments.

I'll also add that my leftwingie commenters need not watch the video...it lasts a few minutes and I'm honestly not sure you will see what he's saying...because you're probably going to think exactly what he predicts you will, at the end of the video, when he suggests there are those who'll actually think "it's all for the common good."  YOU can believe that, most of us do not.

Oddly enough, my good buddy Mustang just sent me the following information that seemed to go so well with the thoughts above so I decided to add it on to my post:

A proposal from the Obama administration to prevent children from doing farm chores has drawn plenty of criticism from rural-district members of Congress. But now it’s attracting barbs from farm kids themselves.  The Department of Labor is poised to put the finishing touches on a rule that would apply child-labor laws to children working on family farms, prohibiting them from performing a list of jobs on their own families’ land.  Under the rules, children under 18 could no longer work “in the storing, marketing and transporting of farm product raw materials.”
“Prohibited places of employment,” a Department press release read, “would include country grain elevators, grain bins, silos, feed lots, stockyards, livestock exchanges and livestock auctions.”
The new regulations, first proposed August 31 by Labor Secretary Hilda Solis, would also revoke the government’s approval of safety training and certification taught by independent groups like 4-H and FFA, replacing them instead with a 90-hour federal government training course.  Rossie Blinson, a 21-year-old college student from Buis Creek, N.C., told The Daily Caller that the federal government’s plan will do far more harm than good.  “The main concern I have is that it would prevent kids from doing 4-H and FFA projects if they’re not at their parents’ house,” said Blinson.

Yes, our government has to prohibit farm kids from growing up doing what their folks need them to do, and maybe hurting 4-H would help, too.  After all, it's a little too wholesome for America these days, don't you think?  If you wanted to hurt America you'd have the government actually tell grown farmers what their kids can and can't do...and convince them all that "it's all for the common good."

Now commenter/friend Fair Witness has sent me THIS.
.........my God, I suppose if I didn't post this original post and video at the top, I'd be adding 1000 different examples of what the video's saying.  And, we're ALL supposed to just think this is business as usual and all "for the common good!"

Unreal.

Thanks, FairWitness...for sending me this.

Isn't that an astounding video? I posted it too (on Monday). Glad to see that you have posted this video as well. It's making the rounds, and one can only hope that people will see it and open their eyes as to what is happening.

-----------

As for forbidding children to do farm chores, how long before the feds step in and outlaw children doing chores in suburban homes? Children, being children, will rise up and scream when their parents assign chores, "We have OUR RIGHTS! You can't make me do anything!"

Our government has truly moved into promoting "From cradle to grave"!

--------------

Energy prices have been so screwed up that, in the foreseeable future, who will be able to afford to commute to work and to heat/cool their homes? Despite all the conservation means available, the costs of energy for the average person must still exist.

As families' and individuals' expendable income shrinks, so will our entire economy.

Yes, indeed America will fail....of we get 4 more years of Obama's socialist agenda.

The Political Chic said...

No wonder America is failing, the leeches on the left are now Campaigning on the Taxpayer Dime. According to what I heard and read this morning. The Obama campaign has been cheating the American taxpayers by using taxpayer dollars to fund their general election efforts.

Obama has been using the Taxpayer Dime to speak about student loans and throwing in campaign re-election speeches. Hows that?

Thank you, you idiots who put this THUG in office.

This video devastated me because of the truth in it. It is EXACTLY what the Left has done to our nation; OUR CHILDREN are being deliberately indoctrinated and lied to. Our childrens' values and basic education are deliberately being perverted. They've been taught an alternate reality of LIES that will result in lives of miserable existence. Prosperity has been demonized in their very psyches. This is a progressive (read COMMUNIST) agenda to bring down the USA. To replace our freedom with the same failure all other progressive / socialist / dictatorship countries live under.

I can't quite find it in my heart to believe that enough American voters are so ignorant that they will reelect this regime. I pray that we will deliver ourselves from this evil. For evil is surely what President Obama, the Obama Administration and its agenda represent.

Please, dear Lord, deliver us from this. Amen.

FairWitness said...

The add-ons after the video demonstrate what this regime plans to do, through its various departments.

The Department of Labor plans to destroy the traditional American work ethic; they're just starting with family farms.

The EPA plans to destroy American productivity by making energy unavailable to those of us who use it to work.

One statistic that bears this out;

"Under "Energy President" Obama, annual revenue to the U.S. Treasury from offshore oil lease sales has plummeted more than $9 billion since 2008, to less than $37 million in 2011. In government today, $37 million is a rounding error. This should tell the nation all it needs to know about Obama's future plans for oil in America. Oil is out."

The above quote was from an article on American Thinker today, entitled "Obama the Tragedy" at the link below:

AOW...I haven't had time to visit lately, so I didn't know you'd posted this, too.
I'm glad more and more people are seeing it.

And yes, you can BET it'll be home chores next. This is also another great way to break up the home, to throw respect for parents out the window. "THE GOV'T KNOWS BEST" is getting silly now.
Not letting kids eat the lunches their folks prepare, etc...
this is ridiculous. And it will stop.

Cynthia, welcome to geeeZ.
I hadn't heard about the cheating thing but I do keep wondering why the DNC doesn't have to pay their media for all the free ads which come to us as 'news about the president and his family'...

SF and Elbro....we need to fundamentally change it BACK in November!

Namaste, 'let's go,' indeed...and thanks.

cube, you're so right.. well said.

Fair Witness, I'm really glad you sent that video to me. One watches and thinks "But, that's what IS happening.." and then when Mustang sent me one link and you another...there it was!

In 2008, Obama vowed to bankrupt the coal industry. Apparently, Mr. Obama doesn't know that coal is the primary source of electricity in our country, particularly given our refusal to look at nuclear energy in a responsible way. And then, of course, it is within the EPA mission statement to "crucify" oil and gas companies who refuse to cooperate.

"If I wanted American to fail..." correctly identifies our problem: the American Progressive movement.

Amazing how Obama uses more oil, than anyone flying around the country and heating the White House to "Hawaiian" temps. while bashing Big Oil.
I guess he feels he's entitled so why not the pass it around....to those who don't pay for it that is.
It really is pretty scary that this is all being done intentionally. Whatever happened to laws? I never thought I would see this happening in America.

Good grief, Z. Here's another example of the Obama Adminstration's WAR ON AMERICAN ENERGY. Unbelievable!!!

http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Government/2012/04/26/green-vs-green-environmentalists-win-fed-backing-to-shut-down-hydro-power

And now this:

"Sen. Jim Inhofe (R-Okla.) on Thursday blasted an Environmental Protection Agency official’s claim that the agency was using a “crucify them” strategy against oil and gas companies, calling it a part of President Barack Obama’s “war on domestic energy.”

“Let’s keep in mind, this is all a part of Obama’s war on domestic energy,” Inhofe said on “Fox & Friends.” “He’s the one who said that we have good natural gas and it’s plentiful and all of that but we’ve got to stop hydraulic fracturing. This is the war on hydraulic fracturing.”

It’s more than a war on hydraulic fracturing, or on energy production. It’s a war on liberty, waged by bureaucrats who want to crucify people like the Sacketts in order to pacify the rest of us. The apology won’t fool anyone."

FairWitness said...

With the explosion of news regarding the Obama Administration's WAR ON AMERICAN ENERGY producers, I ask these questions:

HOW COULD ANYONE REELECT THIS PRESIDENT?

HOW COULD ANYONE VOTE FOR DEMOCRATS FOR ANYTHING?

Read this comment from a poster called "Abilene" on American Thinker & thought you'd like to read it:

"I find it interesting how these mentally deficient little lefitst dweebs are allowed to get away with revising history. First, crucifixion was a horrible way to go, and not an activity enjoyed by the Romans. Crucifixion was reserved for the most heinous of crimes, such as treason and sedition, which would make Mr. Armendariz more of a candidate, than anyone in the energy business. Second, there were no Turks during the time of the Roman Empire -- or for about another 1000 years...."

Libdud, get real! These kids who work on family farms do not come under child labor laws.

They're contributing to their family's survival and what's more they're learning how to be farmers, which IMO, is why the govt. is stepping in.

This Marxist govt., if it has it's way, is about controlling our food, as it wants to do with everything else. Don't kid yourself.

They don't want young people to learn how to farm, so they want to control those who would be future farmers as well.

Finally, it is parents who must rise up and take their children back, before they've lost them forever. Parental authority is under attack, and has been for a long time now.

The government has no right to interfere with parental authority. Are you for disallowing children to bring a sack lunch to school?

If you are, you're just as blind as your cohorts. You can't see the forest for the trees! But, by the time you can, it'll be too late.

It's time to wake up and see the big picture, and it ain't pretty.

This is one example of what I mean, when I say, if Obama is re-elected the hammer will come down hard on all of us! And you liberalman, will not be spared!

This is from a friend who said I could post it here:

"My husband farmed for most of his life in La. until 5 years of drought put him out of farming. He grew cotton, wheat, soybeans, & raised beef cattle. He has 3 sons all of whom started working on the different farms he had at about the age of 11. They drove big tractors, grain trucks (not on the roads), grain buggies, etc., etc., & were damn good at it. They worked the same hours as the rest of the men, & were paid for it. Thus, a work ethic was instilled in all 3.

It sounds like our 'government' wants to get kids off the farms so they can bring in more Mexicans, legal or illegal, just to get them in the country so they can vote the Democratic Kool-Aid ticket. This Socialist/union-loving/czar-appointing 'President' will do anything he can to drive this country over the cliff."

makes sense to me. ALL of it.

Z said...

Pris, I am deleting libman. I really am so tired of him. You know, I'm sure he thinks he's right but he sure doesn't get the big picture, poor little man.

Yes, not only are these kids working their family farms, their family farms are dwindling. We all know that California's fertile mid-state agriculture's gone because the left thought the 3" fish's extinction was more horrible than not feeding Americans. (California grew about 1/2 of plenty of crops that got distributed in the USA)

By the way, I'll never forget a San Francisco congressman or something say on TV when all of this horror was going down that "I've been watching the San Francisco leaders trying to close down our agriculture in that area for years and couldn't figure out WHY"

I've always wondered what the truth is, too.
The little fish flourishes in the Pacific NW, by the way. This is no extinction problem.

For that little fish, though, thousands of migrants lost their work, plenty of legal Hispanics lost their homes, etc etc.

WHY? What IS the big leftie plan for us? Total dependence for EVERYTHING ? WHY?

One of my very best friends in the world is a farmer's wife. Her husband's father passed away when her husband was just 21 years. Those years he had with his dad on the farm are his best memories of his father. As a boy he loved helping him on the farm. It's not work to the majority of these kids. It's just life and good memories with their dads.

My friend now has a 9 year old son. He's getting the same wonderful experiences with his father.

I have no doubt, they learn the value of hard work and responsibilities so much earlier and better than white collar families.

No doubt this idea was drafted by some elitist who think farmers are rubes and don't know what's best for their own children.

I consider people like that completely ignorant, pampered asses.

Sorry, I cannot describe them in nicer terms.

Z said...

Rita, I think that's a very common story and I am SO glad you told us about that......

I think it's elitist, I think it's agenda-driven, and I think it's hilarious to see the Leftwing TV people and Obama's thugs insisting this is about SAFETY.
Man, can we legislate EVERYTHING?? Is it even healthy?
Are farmers too stupid to know when their kids can get hurt? And is this ridiculous law going to protect them all forever?

WHat a dream world leftwingers dwell in.

viburnum said...

Z: "Total dependence for EVERYTHING ? WHY?"

In a word, control. When every aspect of your existence; food, water, energy, etc., it's production, distribution, acquisition, and use is contingent on being in the good graces of the government, to borrow a phrase "resistance is futile".

Leviathan is long out of date, Big Brother is passe' they aspire to becoming the Borg.

Here in Florida....contrary to what you all might think...we're a huge agricultural state. Citrus, sugar, beef, horses, tomatoes and blessed with year round sunshine to grow the country's food needs.

We're a huge exporter of food for Latin America and the entire country. Matter of fact...I hear we have more horse and cattle than Texas.

10 miles west of the major cities on each coast of Florida....are wide open farm lands. Miles and miles of them. Lake Okeechobee is the largest freshwater lake in the state of Florida. It is the seventh largest freshwater lake in the United States and the second largest freshwater lake contained entirely within the lower 48 states. And it's bountiful waters not only feed the Everglades ( a natural wonder ) but thousands of acres of farm land.

In Florida...farm kids don't even need a drivers license in Florida to drive farm vehicles. These kids work on these farms from the time they can walk. I've seen tractors and trucks on roads with 12 year olds driving them between fields.

It's tradition...and keeps the farms going when the kids are a part of it. Now the feds want to restrict these kids from helping their families? So now they have to hire someone to do the chores that kids have done for a hundred years in Florida?

Rita...that was so spot on...excellent analysis...you have to wonder where these dummies think the food at Fresh Market, Walmart, Costco, Whole Foods and Publix comes from.

Yea...those "rubes"...farmers. Their "organic" apples , peaches....vegetables...? LMAO.

Surely they think the stores grow them. One of the most amazing experiences I have is when I walk into my local supermarket to shop. I'm constantly blown away at the amount of food we take for granted...as well as the rows upon rows and aisles of hundreds of choices.

I imagine myself as an immigrant from some 3rd world country who either had to stand in line for a fresh potato and walk into any market in America. It's indeed...wonderous.

God Bless American farmers.

I don't know if anyone on here kept up on the Occupy Wall Street crowd.

I was between clients for several months last year when that group was in it's heyday (before they blew through $ 2/3MM on lowlife scum living) so I "entertained" myself reading their own website. I never got my OWS news from a news source, only OWS themselves.

Anyway, one of their favorite mantras was how Monsanto was poisoning our corn crops by genetically altering the seeds. The altering increased crop production tremendously, which is why we can feed more people and create biofuel in a single acre than ever before.

Corn is also the only seed that is NOT self-sustaining. Meaning that if no one planted and cultivated corn, it would never by itself continue to exist. All other crops, tomatoes, beans, etc have the ability to produce crops without human intervention.

Basically corn would die out of existence if man did not plant it.

I found that fascinating.

Anyway, OWS was on a mission to rid the planet of corporations who develop better yielding crop production.

Now it may be true that Monsanto is trying to produce a monopoly, but that's an entirely different issue than "poisoning" people with genetic engineering.

So not only is the mantra that oil is bad, there is also a movement to rid the earth of better yielding corn.

While trying to have the corn crop divided between a food source and an energy source, "someone" is also trying to make sure those crops are scarce.

I'm not normally a conspiracy theorist, but someone tell me, PLEASE just what the real motive is behind the demonization of the corporate farms and NOW the family farms.

Dana Perino on The Five tonight indicated that corporate farms were actually only FOUR % of farms. I haven't checked her facts, but I've never heard her say something that wasn't accurate.

Anonymous said...

"Basically corn would die out of existence if man did not plant it."

Wow....so...we'd be without a food staple as well as source of "energy"?

Rita said...

That information I learned while watching some documentary on Discovery or somewhere. You would think some documentary about corn would be boring, but it was in fact fascinating.

They showed a research facility here in Indiana. Marengo Cave in southern Indian. They can plant corn there year round and because it is so deep in the cave, there are no pests. They can completely control the environment.

I don't remember the actual percentage of increases in crop production due to the genetically altered seed, but it was impressive.

But then again, those OWS kids know that it's only the evil corporations altering the seed to poison the masses.

I so hope that one day I'll be as brilliant as the OWSers are.

Kid said...

Rita, you keep hitting on the 'main things'.
OWS is a small platoon in the democrat war on anything and everything productive, moral, accountable, or anything else you can add that is the Essence of what made America great.

They've trained their zombie followers to hate anything that brings good things to us. Houses, Cars, Food, Energy. The staples of life and that which makes life great or a suck* experience like in Russia waiting in line for fricken toilet paper.

My advice is know this is coming and protect yourself. Then protect yourself from the idiotic hordes of imbecile libtards who will come to steal what you have after the dems and their media arm convince the idiots this is all the fault of the rich and productive.

And I'll put real money on that.

Rita said...

Why looky here! I was trying to google the documentary I watched and the search "yields" nothing but this link.

Z said...

Rita! That's really fascinating...did you see my comment about that stupid little fish in California? and how one councilmember said he'd never been able to figure out why the San Francisco Council had seemingly fought to shut down the California Central Valley for YEARS and finally found something to pin it on?

WHAT IS GOING ON?

But, you see, if we complain, if we research, if we ask questions, we're "Birthers" and "rightwing nuts".. I have a feeling that we're all going to suffer badly in the near future but it'll be only the leftwingers asking "WHY?? WHAT HAPPENED?" honestly.

And yet, what are we doing about this? zip

Rita said...

Cannot locate the documentary I watched, but this is a copy of an AP article about the Marengo Cave crops.

I also just now ran across a Combat Monsanto website.

As I said, Monsanto could be trying to create a corn monopoly, but by and large the movement is about stopping genetically altered corn which produces higher crop yields. The protestors scream about being poisoned while they insist on creating renewable energy.
