Obama's phone etiquette

This really bugs me........I know a president's busy, believe me, and I know he at least saluted, but I'd almost rather he'd not saluted.   Sorry for the caption language, I didn't write it, obviously.  But........REALLY?  Must he be so perfunctory to two of America's best?  It's not like he's had to salute to a hundred people that day.  What's it take to put the cell phone down for a sec?

I'm probably over reacting, but it says a LOT to me.

That's hardly over-reacting.

I'd rather they step aside and let the bullet hit him. He doesn't deserve respect from our military. We know all too well how much Obama hates America and what it stands for.

The lowest ranking enlistees, as individuals,on a daily basis, do more FOR this Country than the Fraud-in-Chief will have done when he finally leaves office (not too soon for me)! Everything that B.O. has done or wants to do TO this Country is negative and destructive! I also remember his wife, the First Wookiee, making disparaging remarks about our Flag. Those two are almost as pathetic as the dolts who put them in office!

EB...wasn't sure here :-)

Fox...that made me laugh out loud! "I'd rather they step aside.." Terrible, but I burst into laughter. Yikes!
Gad, what hit me so funny is well beyond ME! But, it sure did. I'm still laughing..
Of course, I'd not wish that on anybody. But I sure do agree that that man doesn't love America. What in his background COULD have ever given him a shred of appreciation for this country? zilch.

JB...glad you agree. I just thought it was SUCH BAD TASTE and so disrespectful of him to do that, but I don't think he really knows the slightest about protocol, either, so...........

To quote Moochele.."This is the first time I've ever been proud of my country"...

Does anyone believe that these two racist AA creatures have ever been fond of the military or previously respectful of our warriors?

Remember Moochele whispering in the Ones ear once..."All this for a flag"...and he says...Afraid so.

They may one day. Once he stomps on the Constitution one more and last time.

Warriors? You mean the ones too dumb to understand you can't win counter insurgencies?

Don't denigrate the troops themselves you idiot...they follow orders as they've sworn to do. If you want to denigrate anyone...then it's their arm chair generals who are riddled by PC and fear of losing their pensions.

So nobody should salute to soldiers because they're not perfect?

There goes that ridiculous liberal thing again which I talk about all the time here: PERFECTION/UTOPIA is the liberal dream. If they can't get it, they think that laws can legislate it. If they see one flaw in anything, it's BAD BAD BAD.

How's a country survive that naivite??

I haven't been terribly impressed with any POTUSs regard for the military since at least Reagan.

But then again, I'm not terribly proud of my country either.

The king of red herrings strikes again and as usual he's wrong.

Malaysia had a successful counter-insurgency against the communists.

For that matter the local Iraqi leaders decided they were on our side the minute we kicked ass in Ramadi and Fallujah. History duhkkky, history.

Doesn't bug me as much as couples sitting at restaurants and looking at their cell phone like they have nothing to say to eacH other.

Obama only occasionally gets into the role of Commander in Chief. He is really still in the Community Organizer role, and just doesn't understand what the nation is all about. Of course, neither he nor his wife like America. This is plain to see.

You aren't over reacting. His disrespect for the military is painfully obvious to anyone with eyes.

No you are most definitely NOT over-reacting, I felt the same way. It's called, "etiquette" and "respect." These men deserved it and were ignored by their own commander and chief. Ahhh!

Guess you forgot that one of them had been flying F105's...and one bitch of a fighter jet too. Not one bit friendly...and it took enormous skill and balls to climb into one of those and rack up more than 500 accident free hours too.

He'll be able to explain everything to God at the Great White Throne Judgement when the time comes. No blackberry or teleprompter to aid him, but all he needs to do is tell the truth - should be simple!
He won't even need to salute.

Li-b-e-ral,
Who does he work for?

I didn't notice him on a cell phone when he bowed down to King Abdullah.

Listen you little punk, you picked the wrong time and the wrong woman to insult tonight.

You are not worthy to shine those servicemen's shoes much less live under the freedom the fine men have bought and paid for you.

If you hate this country so much, leave. Either your parents are pathetic mooching losers or they hang their heads in shame as to what they wrought upon our nation. Another scum lowlife who believes he's entitled to things he never earned and scoffs at the men and women who paid in their own blood to allow you the freedom to be a complete asshole.

Sorry Z. But this little punk needs to go play outside with his grade school friends.
