Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama both propose significant changes to the tax code that would add to its complexity. His plan emphasizes income inequality, while hers seeks to change Americans' behavior.
Obama's proposal would shift the tax burden toward the rich from low- and middle-income workers. Clinton proposes targeted tax breaks designed to change the way Americans use energy, save money and care for elders.

And many conservative Americans just want a FAIR TAX...fair for EVERYONE.

Did you hear that congress says the Bush tax cuts have to go in 2010? Two years from now, we may have ZERO corporations hiring any American..they'll have to go to outsourcing. Two years from now, no small business people will be able to hire Americans.
Two years from now, we're TOAST if these cuts get rescinded because, then, we'll probably also have a Dem with a Dem majority in Congress which has spent us into oblivion...taxing more and more so they can pay for all the CHANGE.
And Bayh was the ONLY Dem who voted against it other than Hillary and Obama. Can't quite figure out why they did. MANY Republicans went along with it.
And now we'll wonder why they're voted out this November?
