Joe the Plumber on this "greatest country in the world..stop apologizing for it. I'm not sorry for being an American. I'm not sorry for having the things I have....I've worked for them." If you only have a few minutes, start the video halfway through, you won't be sorry. This guy's gold.

He's the real America, the America that works hard and pays their bills and hopes for a better tomorrow. It's the same America that the left hates.
Joe would make the perfect citizen congressman. Unspoiled by elitism, he is simply grateful to have the opportunity to seek his goal, the American Dream.
He doesn't want handouts, or preferential treatment. He knows what most of us know. Nothing we attain is worth much, if we don't earn it.
If I'm right about Joe, he asks for nothing from the government, except to defend our freedom, keep us sound, and stay out of his way.
God bless you Joe, and I hope you realize your dream.

Jack, just thinking about a foxhole with Obama gives me shivers...almost as much as ANYTHING with the word FOX in it affects HIM.
Did you hear the Al Smith dinner speeches tonight? He again mentioned FOX...ONE STATION against him (50% of FOX, anyway) and he just can't SLEEP, apparently..."Got to SHUT THEM DOWN"

I love this guys view!!! Hell, I hang out with guys like this all the time. I work with them, eat with them, and go to church with them. Ordinary people are the ones who move the day to day functions of society and I say God bless 'em!!!

By the way, heard there is video out now of Obama mocking Joe and the crowd around Obama just laughing , having a grand old time.
This is what they hate about Sarah Palin, just a real , honest and decent person .
People know it, but the power brokers are flaming angry that John McCain did this, picked Sarah.
I really think that.
But you know, this is what we are supposed to be, just people trying to the right thing.
We are not supposed to have this huge ruling class sitting back cracking a whip over us. But, today, this is how it stands.
Our ancestors risked a lot to get out of what ever placed they came from.
I know my own actually wrote the reason they had come to this country was to practice religion as they saw fit and think what they wanted.
Now we have PC people and folks trying to blackmail us into doing things and shaming us into doing things we know are wrong.
We have to think of our country first.

Some were just plain old farmers, people from all walks of life.
We , the people, need to take our country back .
I have noticed a lot of congressmen and women who sit in DC have actually inherited their so called seats.
This is so wrong.
I want to see term limits.
If it is good enough for a president, it should be good enough for a congressman or senator.

Z, your clip is gone! I wonder if it got pulled. It seems Joe is not licensed to plumb, and he may have been, and probably was talking about gross business being $250,000, not his profit. That actually does make more sense. It is what I suspected when I heard the number. Oh, and God forbid, he's not in the union.
Joe the Plumber is already under attack by the left. That must mean he strikes fear in their libby hearts.

Yup, withhjucin 24 hours they've put on the black robes and hoods, pulled out the long lives, and lanched a character assassination campaign against private citizen Joe the Plumber to destroy his credibility.
Joe the plumber is a wonderful October surprise. The left is vilifying him because that is easier than actually doing any reporting on the background of Obama. Destroy his critics instead.
As though voting Republican in the primary is a crime, voiding his right to ask a tax question of the Democrat candidate.

My computer is having some trouble downloading YouTube today. This is the second Joe the Plumber clip I've seen and it's driving me crazy cuz I can't hear him! He sounds fantastic.

Sorry about the two deleted comments, but I had some misinformation in the first comment and then in the second comment I had too many typos.
The misinformation in the first comment was from an article I read at the Fox News website that is no longer there because they've redone their page. It seems that everyone - especially the liberals - are claiming Joe isn't a plumber and doesn't even have a license. Well, the fact of the matter is that he works for a plumbing company that he intends on buying, and is going to classes to earn his licence. He isn't required to have one until he owns his own company. The company's license covers him.
So... I knew Joe would be vetted even more than Obama has been. Good grief! They've also found out he owed $1,300 in back taxes. Who cares? I sure don't. It means Joe will vote for McCain for sure! LOL~!

I'm with Gayle, it's incredible that the MSM is digging deeper into the past of a plumber in 4 days than they have the past of a man who could be President in the 18 months he's been actively camapigning. The real offense by Joe the plumber is that he dared question The One.
i love plumbers anyway because i couldn't fix a leaky pipe if my life depended on it!!! so he has even more of my admiration!!
And I'm sorry to say that he is going to be paying a price for it.
Just remember, there are a whole lot more of Joe the Plumber types out there than there are of them.
And yes, we don't know about Obama's medical records, yet we do about McCain's, we don't know about Obama's school days, but we do McCain's.
We know Joe owes some back taxes, but Obama has people on his campaign who owe lots more in taxes.
I mean, how dare they go after a citizen like that?
Look what has been done to Sarah Palin, and yes, she is a politican but even wanting DNA to prove her baby is hers?
These are some sick people running for office and it will only get worse should Obama get in.
By the way, Joe was at his home when Obama showed up, it is not like Joe went running out to Obama.

Nobody can question Obama.
He's angry at FOX because they exist, too. Anybody who doesn't glow about Obama is on Obama's list.
Imagine having a president who has no respect for FOX? Imagine when he said to McCain "even FOX disputes you on this..."? Imagine when he suggested anybody at FOX has referred to him as "elitist, latte drinking..." Never happened, but he'll have America THINK it happened (enter Saul Alinsky rules). He'll have America think McCain's played the race card when Obama himself uses it so often. Remember the speech in Berlin? "I know I don't LOOK LIKE other American presidents who've been here" (of course, few HAVE been there, and NONE have been there before winning an election, but....maybe he meant he's TALLER, huh?!!!LOL!)
On Talk Radio the other day, a fellow who's a gun advocate talked about how he's met Obama a few times, Obama knows his cause, and now won't talk to him, just walks away from him as if he didn't exist. Never says "Excuse me...got to go.." just looks at him and walks away. The guy gave lots of information about his experiences and how many Republicans have had similar instances with Obama; who has zero respect for how HALF of America feels, i.e. Conservatives.
A president should represent us ALL.
We all know his agenda, why can't America see that?
You CANNOT disagree with this man; he's the anointed, he's been buying into the celebrity he's suddenly got, and feels impervious to criticism because he is some exalted king. Scary times, folks.
It is a culture war already; elitist Obama/Biden v Sarah Palin and Joe the Plumber. And the elitists will belittle and insult until they GET THEIR WAY.

Z, I would like to attempt to perk you up just a bit: Try to remember that there are more common folks out there like Joe the Plumber than their are elitist bull-sh*tters who want socialism for this country.
The problem is that far too many of those "common folk" still don't know the truth about Obama, but more is coming out. Fox News has on it's website today an article that ties Obama's connections to ACORN far deeper than he admits. Hooray for Joe the Plumber. He isn't afraid to call it like it is, UNFAIR to tax people unequally, by the name of SOCIALISM! (especially in the interview by whatshername the blond newslady, something nordic, drat I hate these senior moments).
I know EXACTLY what the "elites" would say --- and probably already have said --- about this very nice, decent, normal man. He and those like him really ARE "the backbone of America," but he's not smooth and polished enough for the elites. Not tricky, slimy, deceitful and wily enough either, I'm sure.
I wish him --- and all America --- the very best of luck. Unfortunately, we have been run by self-appointed OLIGARCHS for a long time. It is just becoming more and more nakedly apparent, that's all.

You're right, of course, Elmer's Brother, but the LEFT is working feverishly to make JOE the issue in order to take the heat off OBAMA.
Sarah Palin burst onto the scene and was an instant hit.
What was the immediate response of the LEFT?
Why to try to DESTROY her by turning her into a grotesque caricature of herself.
So, it is the spiteful, petty, disingenuous, ALWAYS-DESTRUCTIVE agenda of the LEFT that is THE underlying issue in ALL of what is happening in American politics.

Elbro, hi...it's what Obama said to him, yes...but what Obama said to him really drew the line and well illustrated the differences between elitist leftist America and grass roots, decent, self-reliant, independent America.
His reaction is fresh and real, much like Palin's reactions are. Like a cross to a vampire.

freedom, the whole point, I believe, is that the left is blaming McCain for lingering on Obama's slamming Joe when, really, Obama's slamming Joe because of what OBAMA SAID TO HIM. The harder and louder the O campaign scream "FOUL" to McCain, they don't have to answer the question "Did you REALLY say you want to redistribute JOE'S MONEY?"
Who cares who Joe-the-plumber votes for? George Wallace said it best, "there's not a dime's worth of difference between" Republicans and Democrats. The Democrats willingly went along with the War in Iraq, suspension of Habeas Corpus, Patriot Act, banning books like "America Deceived' from Amazon, Wikipedia and Facebook, warrant-less wiretapping and opening private mail. They are both guilty of treason.
Clean them all out and save this great nation.
