Cunning is as cunning does...............

UPDATE on al-Sadr: http://farmersletters.blogspot.com/
April 9 thanks, Farmer John.

AHA! Is this BEAUTIFUL!?? Sure...play the Iraqi government against us...force them to protect Iraqis from US! "Hey, Iraqi government...you either protect the Iraqi public against America or we'll stop the 7 month ceasefire!"

NOBODY can call al-Sadr a fool, that's for SURE. The NYTimes will adore this one....Chris Matthews may never come down from the clouds, and Code Pink will call for a holiday for al-Sadr's birthday..............How do you fight this cunning?

They're GOOD over there, sure a lot better than Bush's PR ever, EVER was. Hey, Dana? You're pretty, but we need you to get cunning, too. (except the NYTimes will expose anything you come up with, make you and Bush look stupid, and keep whining about how we're losing the war, of course)

What is behind IRAQI insecurities?

Iranian-backed groups are behind Iraqi attacks, say U.S. military
Friday, 04 April 2008

NCRI- U.S. Army Maj. Gen. Kevin Bergner, a Multinational Force Iraq spokesman said in a Baghdad news conference on Wednesday that "Iranian-backed criminals are behind" attacks in "the Iraqi capital and the Green Zone, which houses U.S. and Iraqi government buildings in central Baghdad," American Forces Press Service (AFPS) reported.

“These are deplorable attacks that have caused physical and psychological damage to innocent Iraqi civilians,” he said.

According to the report, "specific evidence of Iranian influence emerged last year, when Coalition Forces discovered the relationship between Iran and Special Groups operating in Iraq.

"These criminal groups generally comprise Shiite militia members trained, funded and armed by Iranian Qods Force operatives, Bergner said.

"Military officials further confirmed Iran's role through information gleaned from detained suspects who have admitted to receiving recent Qods Force training in Iran."

IRAQ is a side car of IRAN;

Impossible to redirect correctly the side-car away from the car.

US government, under the maximum pressur of the Mullahs lobbies and Mullah's mafia web in the USA congress and Senat, can not improve the Iraqi insecurity.

Your Dems and anti-Bush's camp are fighting politically against your forces in IRAQ.

Your Army are under a crossed fire from IRAN and your politicians in IRAQ.

How do you want to fight the source and the commanditories of the Terrorism while you'r sending(your Dems and your Democrat Candidats)the friendship signals to the enemie's camp?!!

I'll write more tomorrow, it's already 6 Oc, in the morning now here, we are at your tomorrow's morning, now,

beamish. good quote.
what does it mean? :/

SAM, I am sorry to say there is no way I can edit your posts before I print them...that availability is not offered, as far as I can tell, but, NO PROBLEM! We understand well what say, very well, and you should be proud to write so well in a language other than your own! If I see something that didn't come out well, I'll try to figure it out and comment on that so people better understand you, IF I can. I've lived with a man with an accent so long I've become pretty good at it!

I hope people will read this because I want you all to know SAM lives in Ashraf, Iraq; He is an Iranian freedom fighter and he's posted at FPM for about 2 years, I think. There's more, but he'll tell you more if he can. He knows a LOT more than what we're hearing in our media and he is VERY pro Bush and pro this war and ANTI MULLAH. AND VERY ANTI AMERICAN LIBERAL SENATOR, WHOM HE FEELS ARE GETTING THEIR INSTRUCTIONS FROM IRAN. mhmmm

He has good input, I cherish our acquaintanceship.

Z said...

Angel..they LIE. no twisting and turning. DOWNRIGHT LIES. And they keep the truth from us.

One example: I lived in Paris: EVERY SINGLE WEEK, we saw news reports of Iranian students marching against the regime. How often have you seen that here?
Twice. At most. WHY?

ya WHY?

Anonymous said...

The recent attacks, especially the ones on the Green Zone, were of course timed perfectly as fodder for the Dem. Senators' questions for General Petraeous. Sadr is also an eager participant. Anything he can do to help.

And those Senators cooperated as if they had instructions from Iran itself.
The enemy knows losers when he sees 'em, and will do what he can to help the losers "win" in November.

These are the people who complain that reconciliation in Iraq is taking too long! HUH?

BTW, someone tell Jay Rockerfeller our military didn't have laser guided bombs during the Viet Nam War.

Pris

Z said...

PRIS....absolutely! You've got it! The Green Zone attacks were perfectly timed!
Only, if I'm to believe only some of what SAM says, I'd say that the Senators are "doing all they can to help" al-Sadr!

Every time I SEE Ted Kennedy, blood comes out of my eyes.

Very unattractive, TRUST me!

Good reading. Rich is a good guy.

This morning's bad news brings Iran's claims to have centrifuges which are more efficient. More efficient to do what?

I did find this possibly encouraging story early this morning.

BTW, this week's first guest on my radio show is Amil Imani. Check out his info at my web site. He'll have lots to say on the show, I'll bet.

beamish and brooke; Ya, he should be gone. Yesterday. So, is there some 'geopolitical' reason he's not, or we can't find him, or ..? That's what I wonder about. Do we let him stick around for some reason we're not privvy to? How can we miss this dirt bag?

AOW, thanks for the head's up on your show.

Please, everyone who sees this...check out the GATHERING STORM, Always On Watch is blogrolled here and you'll really enjoy the talk show, I promise. Great guests, good questions.
thanks AOW.

Z said...

AOW; BY THE WAY...do you think it's helpful when Wolf Blitzer and gang find out information about our planning to do things in Iran and discuss it on television?
Or, do you think it might be a way of letting Iran know? I can't imagine the Pentagon using CNN to get messages out, but..... seems bizarre we're the country always telling everyone in advance of what we're going to do.

The centrifuge information isn't surprising if you read or hear Kenneth Timmerman speak. BOY, I went to a lecture last Spring where he told us it is very easy to believe, based on all he's learned thru interviews in Iran with scientists, etc., that they are WAY beyond what we're being told and that a small ship with nukes on it could be off the East coast and fire with no problem. AFter that lecture hosted by David Horowitz, the people were as quiet as if we were leaving a funeral.

Zin,

With all due respect... dont be a fool.

The Sadrists are in a precarious position and are lucky to find such a compliant media as the one we give them.

However even the media cannot completely ignore the truth. This update from the article that you linked shows where the real power is and the true situation on the ground:

"Aides to Muqtada al-Sadr say the anti-American Shiite cleric is calling off a mass rally in Baghdad Wednesday.

Iraqi security forces are blocking al-Sadr's followers from traveling to the capital from the southern Shiite heartland where he enjoys wide support.

Two aides in al-Sadr's office in the holy city of Najaf told The Associated Press that the rally had been canceled. They spoke on condition of anonymity pending an official announcement.

Al-Sadr had called for a "million-strong" protest to mark the fifth anniversary of the capture of Baghdad by U.S. troops. It was seen by many observers as a show of force in his confrontation with the government over calls to disband his Mahdi Army militia."

It was a show of farce. Dont repeat Sadrist propaganda.

For the truth of how Al Sadr is politically isolated and will soon see his militia destroyed check the Long War Journal...

http://www.longwarjournal.org/archives/2008/04/clashes_continue_in.php

Looks like Al Sadr will be in Iran for quite some time!!!!

Z said...

Freedomnow, thanks..but, with all due respect back, your starting comment about the media being compliant with these dopes is why I posted this.
I do think the Green Zones attacks, and others, are planned to coincide with things our government is trying to do here. Rather like Ted Kennedy insulting our generals and ambassadors by negating what they have to say before they can open their mouths, come to think of it.

I am cheered by your information and appreciative of your linking it. I can get SO pessimistic when I see this stuff in the internet and television and JUMP to the worst-case scenario!.. and it's great to have you straighten me out. I do thank you.

Now, if you could please pass this on to CNN? :-)

One of my BIGGEST gripes is with our media (I call it PRAVDA) and their constant lies and misrepresentations...And I do think that, as weakened as al-Sadr seems to be, our media is still building him into a MAJOR PLAYER, only to create this mindset in our country that we're losing because they're smarter than we are.

Well, I fell for it, didn't I.

Thanks!!

A trivial question from FreeThinke

Who is "Dana?"

The beautiful woman depicted looks like Eva Marie Saint in North By Northwest to me.

Saint's character was an operative for the villains in NBNW and seduced and deceived Cary Grant, but then she fell in love with him (naturally!), and they wound up scampering down the faces of Mt. Rushmore trying to escape from the bad guys.

Is THAT what you meant by posting this oblique reference in front of an article about "TAKKEEYA" (the fabled Muslim practice of DECEPTION)?

In reference to playing the media to their own advantage Z said: ••• "They're GOOD over there, sure a lot better than Bush's PR ever, EVER was." •••

You sure got that right. Truer words were never written. I know SAM likes our president, but he's totally incapable of SUBTLETY and FINESSE.

PITY!

Muck-Toddler Al Sadist, the corpulent, truculent, turbaned creep from the slums of Baghdad, should have been SHOT DEAD by our forces the moment his presence as a "troublesome" factor became known.

Our failure to follow through after our invasion and MOP UP THE FLOOR with ANYONE who made the SLIGHTEST show of RESISTANCE against us speaks very poorly for Donald Rumsfeld and our president, who has been too fond of playing "Mr. Nice Guy" and ALWAYS to his detriment–––and ours.

The State Department in concert with the Enemedia has been supportive of the ENEMY from the gitgo.

The American Public has been played for a bunch of fools by its very own government, who is either pays obeisance to the Enemedia out of FEAR or out of SYMPATHY.

When your own team constantly THROWS the FIGHT, isn't it time to cry FOUL!?

There's "something" definitely not loyal to the United States BEHIND all of this. I don't like conspiracy theories, but could we possibly as be as STUPID as we've been ACTING, unless there was a hidden agenda behind our blundering?

WHY don't we EVER play to WIN anymore?

I found SAM's comments to be straight to the heart of the matter.
Do the Dems and wacko activist groups not realize the peril they put our troops in? (they don't care)
Do they not realize that the terrorists would just as soon behead them (liberals) as listen to their rantings?
Honestly, do they even study the people they champion?

Boggles the mind.

hi PITY;

You said;
I know SAM likes our president, but he's totally incapable of SUBTLETY and FINESSE.
============================

I get your word for a complement, and I thank you very much,

but about loving BUSH; I see how I'm seen from your point of view,

But, loving BUSH or Hating BUSH, I never said that I love your president;

There are some Ideas and some attitudes of your president which is unique in it's kind,

For example, GWB said, "Democracy in ME will warranty the securitee for USA",

Well, this is the most progressist policy of an USA president towards the Humanity,

Yes, I sign and persist what I said, and I can prove it that this policy if it was applied in it's totallity, it could save the world from the threat of the ISLAMIC EMPIRE,

and as IRANIAN, I found, the gesture of your President very honnorable towards the Iranian people, it is not easy to stay polite and respectfull towards a people where their unwanted president (Ahmadinejad) is the most disguesting sub-animal of the planet, But, your president never mixed up the Iranian people with their criminel Mullahs.

I have followed with critics all his speechs, and I found that, if he was left alone to practice his own politics, the world was not so ugly as it is now.

But, your GWB is betrayed in his own camp.

All the taps are allowed against BUSH even selling him and his army to the enemy,

In Iraq, he has made a mistake, he could recorrect his mistake, but, he was not allowed to do,

to be more clear, I bring you a practical example below,

at 1979 I was the inventor of the Reprom programmer for the memories 2708 and 2716, when I was doing my Master Engineering.

my invention was extremelly simple, and any body can buy the module and program his memories very easily,

before my invention, one should higher an huge MOTOROLA computer for 500,000 / year and he needed to have enough knowledge to do the programming.

My circuit costed the laboratory less than 5 USD$,

I don't want to enter you in the computer science, just I want to tell you that, to do the job with my simple circuit, I had to inject a short pulse to put the memory in the programmation mode, It was so simple as you see.

Well, comming to BUSH, BUSH had the best program, but he didn't applied the right pulse to the right point to bring the ME for the democracy programmation, and like Motorola, he has to apply 200 times the same stream and hope to have 10 percent printed, "this was the Motorolla's handicap".

Hi, FT: Excellent remark about 'playing to win'...you're right; sure doesn't feel like it a lot of the time.

Pinky...welcome! it sure felt like the senate grillings were ALL about agenda and very little about facts and figures, didn't it? No, I don't think they read the history, the background, before the blast away. And, really, how many countries' senators tell the world, in a war, that they don't have the troops or the money? It's incredible, isn't it.

SAM, I hope you can write a bit about MeK someday here. Maybe even for your group, as an article for us? I'd be happy to publish it. I'd like people to know as much as is safe for you to tell us here. Not too many words, just the basic facts and where you are and why and about our American terror list. Could you do that?

And yes, Bush is definitely betrayed in his own camp. Well said, SAM

Well, Freedomnow, I see what you mean about not getting demoralized, but that's hard to do from time to time.
I'm so SICK of OUR PEOPLE slamming the best amongst us.

And well....your last paragraph is wise and hopeful, but sometimes I know I feel defenseless. This blog is a great outlet, all our blogs have great information, good comments, wonderful intensions and good, sound thinking; but we need to reach those who don't think like we do, FN....do you see what I MEAN?

Freedomnow said...

You dont get kids to be suicide bombers by telling them that our society gives them opportunities to enrich their lives regardless of race, color or creed.

No, you tell them that our society is rife with bigotry and injustice.

Spreading hatred and irrational fear is the job of Islamist terrorist sympathizers, Neo-Nazis and Liberals.

Our message needs to be the opposite.

Of course there are bad people in this world, but you have to believe that we can defeat them or why bother trying. You cant convince someone of your argument if you dont even believe it.

I believe in the greatness of this country.

Z said...

Freedomnow, I think all of our messages include the sentiment that America is great; the greatest, in fact.
Sometimes I flag under the media. I see them spreading lies, holding information back (frequently), misrepresenting the truth...and all for their 'hate America first' agenda. Not for ME, so much. I do believe this country is THE GREATEST...but for the Americans I know watch and believe.
One only has to watch millions of Christians in this country watch OPrah and be dissuaded from their faith to know we have plenty of people who aren't rock solid in their belief in America and can be swayed so easily. Therein lies my fear...less about ME and more about many Americans ...WHO VOTE.

The Left thrives on negativity.

If you call a Leftist a traitor or unpatriotic they will rejoice that you have reaffirmed their talking points that America is unjust.

The best way to really piss a liberal off is to say our country is headed in the right direction. They will bust a gasket and call you brainwashed.

Another approach on a personal level is more effective though... I love conversations with wealthy liberals in which they start complaining about how bad things are. I am quick to remind them how good things really are for them.

They really need context. Does our economy really look anything like the depression of the 30s? The energy crunch has been a fact of life for a long time. Does anyone remember odd and even license plate days in the 70s? Did the dot.com crash destroy our economy? Etc…

How does a three-car family with enough gadgets to film an episode of Star Trek: The Wealthy Generation, get off on so much negativity?

Propaganda!!!!!!!! Thats how. When you are locked in a similar discussion with a liberal you have to act like a parent counseling their child.

Enjoy your tax refunds everyone.
