Hillary was fired............

Please READ THIS....you may not see it elsewhere. Apparently, Hillary Clinton was fired because ''She [Hillary] was an unethical, dishonest lawyer. She conspired to violate the Constitution, the rules of the House, the rules of the committee and the rules of confidentiality.'' This is according to "Jerry Zeifman, a lifelong Democrat, supervised the work of 27-year-old Hillary Rodham on the committee. Hillary got a job working on the investigation at the behest of her former law professor, Burke Marshall, who was also Sen. Ted Kennedy´s chief counsel in the Chappaquiddick affair. When the investigation was over, Zeifman fired Hillary from the committee staff and refused to give her a letter of recommendation – one of only three people who earned that dubious distinction in Zeifman´s 17-year career."

Some of you (including me) find FreeRepublic's news questionable......but this information was there and was sent to me by a friend. I Googled it and, sure enough, it's on other sites....nothing in the mainstream media, of course. Is it very important? Probably not, in the scheme of things, but this guy sure found the
character of our Secretary of State troubling. (Of course, I'm SURE the mainstream media will get around to covering it...this information came out in 2008......just GIVE THEM TIME :-)
American Thinker had it this year....oh, and Drudge carried it in 2008, and World Net Daily covered it, too. "Darned those truthful Conservative sites", huh? Where is the MAINSTREAM MEDIA?

It's so easy to dismiss it with "She was young!" but the allegations are pretty tough, aren't they? I like to think she's changed, but I blogged this because I think character is so important and it worries me that she showed such a lack of it...

Interesting how those on the left are such good candidates for being dictators. No scruples, and no observance of rules.

They just plow ahead regardless of laws, and ethics. And generally speaking, angry, ruthless people who think nothing of exploiting the poor, and using people as fodder. Of course they are liars all, incapable of honor.

So a leftist lawyer is found to be dishonest, unethical, and unversed in decorum.

Next up in hard hitting news, the sky is blue.

No, really, it is.

Hillary is ruthless. So I'm not surprised to learn that she might have been fired.

I had heard about this and it doesn't surprise me one bit. She was one of the original Alinskyites you know.

We are supposed to be judging each other on the content of our character. Nobody is perfect, of course, but we MUST insist that our leaders be some of the best, not the worst among us.

Our forefathers had foibles. But most of them were scrupulous in their public affairs.

M'Hmmmm......

My approximately 4Yo son once asked me what a liar is. So I launched into an explaination that it is someone who does not love the truth and is generally dishonest about details regardless of how important.
He stopped me and said "No mom, I said "LAWYER!"

And the cynic in me seriously considered leaving the definition "as is".

But I supposed that would have been unfair to the lawyers who really do care about truthfulness.

Character matters. We are reaping the negative benefits of a lack of character in our leaders, on both sides of the aisle, but predominately on the left.

Crooked is as crooked does. My husband says 'First time shame on you. Second time shame on me.' If this country gets suckered in by here I'm afraid the good people will get what they don't deserve. If only Vince Foster could talk.

Z, what prompted you to bring up this story today? As you state, we were already aware of her lies and dubious behavior on that Congressional committee when she ran for President. She was also scrutinized as First Lady, where she was a particularly egregious liar, as well. It's what she is.

Are you bringing this up now because the State Dept., headed by Hillary, is at odds with the Afghanistan war strategy? Current US Ambassador Karl Eikenberry's horrid rapport with Gen. McChrystal led to many in the State Dept. openly dissing the war and military leadership.

Probably why that article portrayed such disdain of Obama coming from Gen. McChrystal and his staff. Our State Dept. has always had its own agenda. That bureaucracy hasn't served any President loyally for decades.

Newt Gingrich has said on many occasions that it's irretrievably broken and should be dismantled and replaced by a new department.

Have I got this right? Hillary Clinton is a liar and a "dishonest lawyer" and considered unfit to be recommended to continue in the legal profession — but she is considered to be Senate, even Presidential material?

If this was widely known and not reported does a "conspiracy of silence" become another "conspiracy theory" or just conspiratorial fact?

Seems more like some nefarious long term plan to me.

Good question...I don't think character DOES change and, because I had not heard this story, I felt it was important to expose it. We need to know what we're dealing with in our government and, yes, some of the things she's been doing are so questionable that the exposure of this kind of makes the puzzle pieces fit.

All of you make excellent points...and, Waylon, it does seem odd that people rise to power having had such really damning records; but, the media doesn't expose. And, people forget. That this truth is only (or mostly) told on Conservative papers is telling...obviously, we see what we want to see and most of us don't like Hillary much, but it tells a WHOLE LOT MORE, kind of the theme of my blog:

The MEDIA's silence is helping America make a LOT OF MISTAKES.

The combo lawyer + politician is by itself a combo for lies, intellectual dishonesty which are, unfortunately, both required to perform those jobs well and be elected or win in court.

So nothing surprising.

I am being too cynical?

I'm shocked.

Off Topic-Rarely do I shamelessly promote my blog on another's, but please stop by and check my post today on the Fake Tea Party candidates and spread the word to all you know that there some serious shenanigans going on that they need to be aware of.

I am baffled. Not by the complete and persistent lack of ethics, honesty or compassion that seems to be prerequisite for political success in the US and other countries as well, but that anyone living in the modern world can be so unaware of how those things work.

Hillary's problems have never been because she wasn't a good person, but because her associates have always recognized and feared how good she is at the game.

Shame this wasn't a contemporary headline.

LA..I felt that was happening and even called it SHENANIGANS to a friend. The Left's busy infiltrating and screwing up the TP's and I'm hoping and praying someone is exposed because I"M TIRED of the Right being blamed for things like that.
Remember when Left walked through a Tea Party instead of using the underground corridors they ALWAYS do? If that wasn't a set-up, what WAS?

Speedy, it's being resurrected...it's an old story that needs to be heard, right? :-)

Will, excellent point.

Are we at all shocked that a Clinton was found to be unethical and may have been fired?

Are we at all shocked that the MSM is letting this slide?

*sigh*

The next comment by Ducky will consist of 'tempest in a teakettle, or something to that effect.

Where's Ken Starr when you need him?

Probably watching porno.

Z said...

Ducky,

"And in a final bit of irony, Reuters says Larry Flynt, publisher of Hustler magazine, offered Kenneth Starr a job yesterday.

"After a reading of the Starr report I am impressed by the salacious and voyeuristic nature of your work," Flynt wrote in a letter to the Special Prosecutor. "I congratulate you for having opened the doors of libraries and schools to pornographic literature."

Flynt noted in his letter that the Starr report contains 50 references to genitalia, while this month's Hustler only has 44."

That's about as close as you can get to tying Starr to porno, but good try. You see, he was just relating Clinton's disgusting behavior in the WH for his report. DARNED if he shouldn't be demonized by Ducky.>>INSULT THE MESSENGER!

keep trying......it's kinda fun.

What message, z? Some nondescript blog publishes unsubstantiated claims that put Hillary in a bad light?

Wow, that's news. Just more noise as the ship goes down. Pointless.

Z said...

I know, Ducky...but character counts to some of us, plus the fact that your mainstream media won't divulge this..........I know you feel good about the media, most Americans don't.
We Conservatives want ALL THE NEWS, everything, so we can decide. Few of us depend on Conservative news only.

This is how the cruel and stupid criticism of Glenn Beck arises...I wasn't a fan for a VERY long time, then I watched a show and saw that the maligning is the typical "If it's a REpublican, it's WRONG" silliness of liberals.........please PLEASE watch one show and refute ONE FACT.
That's all HE asks, too......he keeps asking for critics to prove him wrong.

Never happens.

Always On Watch said...

Z,
Interesting comment -- your observation about Glenn Beck.

I'm not a fan of his, but he does nail the mainstream media to the wall.

Z said...

Always, I swear I wasn't a fan AT ALL, either, then wanted to watch a show on the founding fathers someone had told me about (we get it here at 2 pm then at 11 pm and I watch the late one)...man, it just sucked me in and now I watch fairly frequently...except it's tough to go to sleep after all the facts he's got..
He calls the Obama WH "CRIME INC" and, you can't BELIEVE the connections, the cronyism, the Soros connections...ALL PROVEN. Every single one. Or, let's put it this way: If coincidences happen with names, accounts, countries, etc every single day that jive to where it's irrefutable, that's PROVEN, in my opinion.

And here we are again with the latest.."affirmative" appointment to the Supremes. Should we be surprised? Now Kagan...the scum sucking American hating, military hating fat hag...will be able to join...SOTOMaior with more anti US pronouncements.

"By a 6-3 vote, the Court rejected these claims and with Justices Ginsburg, Breyer and Sotomayor dissenting, held the Patriot Act was constitutional.

The Court dismissively regarded both the plaintiffs’ contentions that the Patriot Act was unconstitutionally vague and the Ninth Circuit’s tortured reasoning to find that it was. The dissent agreed that the statute was not unconstitutionally void for vagueness.

As for the assertion that the Patriot Act impermissibly interfered with the plaintiffs’ right to free speech, the Court noted that they were all free to advocate as they wished, but they were not free to work in coordination with, or under the direction of, terrorist groups in so doing.

The majority opinion notes that even benign-seeming assistance to terrorist organizations can be diverted to terrorism; that the executive branch findings (entitled to judicial deference) was that aid to such groups is basically fungible. That is, providing them with humanitarian assistance frees up more resources for them to use on terrorist activities. With respect to the proposed assistance to the PKK, the Court in particular noted that the aid might help the terrorists by arming them with such information and techniques they could use to promote terrorism and to obtain funding from international bodies, ostensibly for relief efforts, which in fact would be used to promote terrorist activities.

Tell me...is this bullshit or what? Can these commie, terrorist loving scum ever be trusted to guard our country? Or are they what I think they are? Willing and lending a hand to help, aid and abet these bastards in creeping anarchy to overthrow this country?

At least for now...we have 6 Supremes who know what their commie loving scumbags are up to.

Character IS king (thank you Peggy Noonan). And boy does it matter - in politicians and Wall Street where it's also sadly lacking.

This story so fits her character when you back up and look at it in total. I don't need to know if she threw a lamp at her husband in a fit of pique - although I'd rather not have that sort of behavior - but she appears to be so saturated in dishonesty and opportunism that is unworthy of our trust. It leaks out all over....the white house travel office, Whitewater, "my parents named me after Sir Edmund Hillary" (who was an unknown name until she was 5 years old), "I was under fire in Bosnia" etc.

Z said...

Deborah, I'd forgotten those slips of the tongue (so to speak)....yes, she was fired upon in Bosnia! That was hilarious but, of course, the mainstream media didn't pick it up......

Oh please, that'll never happen with leftists, it's like that old saying, if your a conservative at 25, you have no heart, if you are still a leftist at 50, you have no brain. They won't change.

Just look at ol' quacky, been hanging around here with all sorts of facts bouncing off his thick skull for years now and he's still as dumb as a post.
