Coming to one's senses..............

By ANN SANNER, Associated Press Writer

WASHINGTON - A top Hillary Rodham Clinton fundraiser threw her support behind Republican John McCain on Wednesday, saying he will lead the country in a centrist fashion and accusing the Democrats of becoming too extreme.

"I believe that Barack Obama, with MoveOn.org and Nancy Pelosi and Howard Dean, has taken the Democratic Party — and they will continue to — too far to the left," Lynn Forester de Rothschild said. "I'm not comfortable there."

"I just ask, who has Barack Obama ever stood up to? And that troubles me a lot," she said. Read more....

This is a great find and I suspect more will come out of the closet...McCain is the obvious choice for moderate america...Obama IS too far left. :)N

It is great news for the Republican branch of the so called two party system. I can't bring myself to support Obama or McCain.

I stopped in to remind you. September 17-23 is Constitution Week. Time to turn off the TV sets and review the Constitution. I'll have a message posted later.

God Bless America, God Save The Republic.

Ooooh boy, Barack's house of cards is falling apart. This is just more good news. McCain takes 35-39 states. HOPEFULLY Super Sarah helps the rest of the Republican ticket too.

She's getting ripped on the left, his will only make her campaign harder.

Maybe the way they treat will wake her up to what the left really is: Hate masquerading as tolerance, feudalism masquerading as egalitarianism and slavery masquerading as liberation.

As a member of the Democratic National Committee's Platform Committee, Rothschild should have a pretty good idea of just what NOBAMA is---or isn't---made of. Good for her to be brave enough to buck her own party. Who knows, maybe McCain will find a spot for her.

She's a racist.

"...accusing the Democrats of becoming too extreme."

They (Obama) hide it very well, but that is correct. Hopefully it's a sign of things to come.

"Frankly, I don't like him."

(As an Obama supporter, I would humbly request that Ladyboo Lynn de Forester von Chili Con Carne travel around the country, greeting voters and announcing that she doesn't like Barack Obama. Please don't forget to wear one of those floofy, flouncey scarves that you can buy at the MoMA store, and also please don't forget to sneer at everyone. May I also request that you wear all your jewels at once?)

I'm sure Obama will lose a lot of sleep over this. I know he was craving the endorsement. After all, we're talking about Baroness Lassie Lynn de von Forester d'el der McRothschild von de Beers VIII, the type of lady every American can relate to and wants to be friends with and definitely doesn't laugh at as soon as she turns her back (to check on her portfolio of private planets she owns).

Maybe now she and Cindy McCain can go shopping together and buy jewels at Cartier and be all like, "Ooh girlfriend, that gem looks so good on your earlobe!" or whatever it is stupid rich old ladies do all day.

Ducky, YOU'RE worried about her defection, too? I love to see that. I know, she's very powerful and involved. No wonder the Dems are attacking her now.

I hope Mrs McCain and Forester go shopping and look beautiful, to boot. Americans can use some class elegance again. Laura Bush was nothing BUT elegant but her taste in clothing was humble, down played. We like class and elegance!
Did you see the frowsy Mrs. Obama was put on a BEST DRESSED LIST? You know, the clothes with ugly flower prints and BIG flouncy flowers all across the top? Or the BIG PIN in the middle and the flat shoes?

What IS it about beautiful women? Forester so beautiful she HAD to leave the Dem party...everybody's always pointing out how lovely the Right wing ladies are in comparison........just had to happen!

But, let's get off the female cattiness you started and talk what's important;

Mrs. Forester said OBAMA is ELITIST and the Left is going nuts "YOU should talk?"

She CAN be ELITIST (tho she doesn't sound like it), she's wealthy, smart, and influential and SHE isn't running for office. Obama is elitist, as SHE SAID after having come to know him, but he's supposed to represent all of us. Big difference.

"old ladies"? Check the pictures...of BOTH ladies.

Calm DOWN, Ducky...the media's STILL in the bag for your Marxist; you still have a good chance. My goodness, since Palin's nomination, you are in OVERDRIVE!

I saw her on Wolf Blitzer's show, The Situation Room. He tried to paint her as an elitist, but she grew up in a middle class family and was a successful businesswoman before marrying into the Rothschild family. She told Wolf Blitzer he was the elitist, not her.

Z said...

Hermit!! SHE said that? See? Even the ex-Left is seeing the truth.

But, you know..the Left can't have a successful woman who did it on her own!! That's waaaay too "PALIN!"

thanks!

Now remember, z, the real reason that Baroness Lassie Lynn de von Forester d'el der McRothschild von de Beers VIII hates Obama is because his tax plan would raise her marginal tax rate.

She and her hubby Baron Evelyn Pangloss de von Forester d'el der McRothschild von de Beers VIII might have to refinance Ascott Place (her London address) and you know what the mortgage market is like right now.

I wonder if Baroness Lassie Lynn de von Forester d'el der McRothschild von de Beers VIII is going to stump with Cindy and Sarah.
They can take take Gidget on her first trip to Tiffany's.

Hey Beamish, read this. I think Baroness Lassie Lynn de von Forester d'el der McRothschild von de Beers VIII just called you a redneck.

--------------------

"Barack Obama went and called the people who have guns and cling to their religion bitter. The people out who are the rednecks or whatever are bitter," Rothschild told CNN's Campbell Brown. "If bitter is the easiest way for you to rationalize that, I truly with all my heart believe that John McCain will be a great president, then call me bitter. But it doesn't really advance the dialogue, Campbell, sorry."

Z said...

Ducky...your comments are adorable, but well, just so off..what's up?

No, she didn't call beamish or anyone else a 'redneck'..you didn't correctly copy what she said, so it's not clear, but what is pretty clear is she reiterated Obama's ridiculous insult. THAT is elitist, Ducky. Not her.

And, I hope they take Sarah to Tiffany's or Cartier. She deserves it. Anyway, I'm more a Cartier girl than a Moose girl...!as if I HAD Cartier, or really wanted Cartier (Not)...But...MOOSE?

not me

This is the kind of woman I admire. One who takes a stand despite the criticism by her 'loyal' friends.

Ducky, do you realize how much time you waste typing the snotty nicknames each time?

Just sayin'...

Ducky,

Since when was "redneck" an insult to someone holding a tire tool spattered with commie blood?

Yes, the Baroness endorsed McCain and so did the Donald.

so did a couple of super delegates for Hillary.

Interesting times, isn't it.
Oh and Obama has Chuck Hagel. Oh boy.
