I woke up this morning and (I swear) thought about Sarah Palin and what new attack the media's come up with.
"I have to turn on the television.....the media's probably found that Sarah's a Lesbian Werewolf by now," I told Mr. Z.
But, I was wrong..... Looks like the Obama crowd's trying, though. They're sending their female big guns to get her! Imagine what they have to say to large American groups of undecided voters? I can't. I think they ARE relegated to LESBIAN WEREWOLF. Anything else is NOT going to go over well with any American women but Gloria Steinem who thinks, apparently, that if you don't think HER way, you only "share a chromosome", you're not really a woman? That's 'women's LIBERATION' for you, I guess. What are these liberal henchwomen Obama's sending out going to say to American women today? "You shouldn't work and be a mother!"? "She's not REALLY smart"? "She really doesn't have enough experience, but Obama does!"? This ain't gonna work, folks! Oh, sure.......maybe they'll just go talk to Code Pink. It'll work there.
NIELSEN RATINGS, meanwhile, are reporting that MORE TV VIEWERS WATCHED McCAIN THAN WATCHED OBAMA IN THEIR ACCEPTANCE SPEECHES!! They'll be out with finalized numbers soon...these are "early reports", according to Nielsen. Ruh Roh, Obama. (In case you're concerned, Helen Thomas is also very concerned about McCain's choice!!..anybody listening? That'll make an impact)
US WEEKLY has phone banks being jammed by subscribers saying they're cancelling their subscriptions because of that recent cover. AND, advertisers are getting tons of calls, too.
Well.........Americans like FAIRNESS, they like a BREATH OF FRESH AIR, GOODNESS, FAMILY, HARD WORKERS.....they're intrigued by McCain and Palin (especially) and are thrilled by people who (GASP!) still love their country!! They're REAL. You can't make 'real' up no matter HOW many columns you put behind it. Check out Bob's blog and see his latest post....no words, just plenty of 'reality'! "Reality in a glimpse", you might say. Before either convention, I said that "The Democrat convention might just be the biggest, most expensive ad for McCain that he never had to pay for." I think I was right.
And, after all my saracasm and negativity above, let me just say what my friend Joe said in an email last night "Sarah is the MAN!" (oops!) I loved that!

Bush got got 48% of the female vote in '04. I think it's safe to say that McCain/Palin will do better than that, much better.
The Dems are basically a coalition of minority groups, the largest of which is women.(yes, I know, they're not a minority)The GOP already gets a majority of the male vote. So it's easy to see how big of a problem this can be for the DEms if they can't unseat Palin.
