Good Sunday to you all.........

"For the Lord your God will bless you in all your harvest and in all the work of your hands, and your joy will be complete." Deuteronomy 16:15.

Fall is almost here....harvest time.......crisp air, pumpkins, beautiful autumn leaves.......Let's all take a long walk together alongside this river and talk! I WISH!

Blessings and joy to you all on this beautiful Sunday.......

Sunday the day of rest. For years I had to work on Sunday. Now I'm laid off and find that in Missouri Sunday is the day you file your weekly unemployment claim. As soon as I get that done today I'm going to ask my Wife if she'd like to go see our Great-Grand-Children, and our joy will be complete.

God Bless America, God Save The Republic.

Thank you for the soothing meditation this morning. We all need to pause and rest from our mental exhaustion of the week past and the weeks ahead.

Z this is a lovely passage, but it's from another part of the Bible. Deuteronomy 1 is a prohibition against sacrificing blemished oxen or sheep to the Lord.

Shalom to all you good Christians on your Sabbath! You make America a better place to live.

Sunday is the best day of the week. Friday and Saturday I run around getting things done, but on Sunday I just rest. We are all going to a cafe on the river for breakfast here soon, that will be fun.

Thank you, sweet friend! :)

I'm not making it to church today because I'm not quite out of the woods yet with this back pain, but am doing much better. My husband went and strained his back. I guess he felt left out! LOL! So now the two of us are more or less in the same boat. They say misery loves company but it's not true. I honestly wish he hadn't done that!

Have a great Sunday.

Morgan, you were absolutely right. I copied the passage and looked up at the top of the page, I guess, because there it said 17:1.

Would love to talk with you about the "Lord your God" not wanting 'you' to sacrifice any animal with 'any defect or flaw in it'....but not here!! And, I'm guessing others have besieged you on THAT topic (smile!) Thanks SO much....I appreciate the correction. And Shalom, you are THE BEST.

I want to thank those of you who always come and comment even tho the religious slant might not be your cup of tea. This is AMERICA..and it's football and breakfast-out Sunday, too! I like that!

GAYLE..VERY VERY glad to see you blogging! I wish I could come help you guys!

Thanks for the warm wishes, everyone.

I mentioned on my 9/11 blog that after reading all your comments and those of so many others, I got the sense that we love America SO MUCH that it's almost like I was reading about everyone's dear grandmother who'd been seriously hurt, the SAME grandmother...that we sort of sounded like we shared a relative.. nice.

Off TOPIC:

You should have seen the little of the Chris Matthews Show this AM....."You get the sense Obama doesn't have it in him to be mean and strike back, while the McCain campaign really does."

And more. Thank GOD nobody but liberal sycophants WATCH this stuff because that "panel" was so nasty and agenda-driven.

WHEN is FOX going to start being REALLY FAIR to US and STOP being FAIR AND BALANCED and ONLY have Right wing panelists who tell the real truth about Obama....the real background, the real way he got his education, the condition of his family in Kenya today, the real Ayers connection, his gaffes, his inexperience?

Oops...I try to keep Sunday's blog NOT about politics.
I can't HELP myself!!

I am totally looking forward to the fall season. Next month we're inviting blogger Karma and her husband down for a weekend of fun and touring the local wineries. We'll also be in the good company of Misfit and his wife as well.

And a good Sunday to you. Everyone is talking about fall and how it's getting cool. Pinky talked about decorating for fall already. I must do that too even though it's still in the 90's here.

I'll be going to Virginia for the month of October, where I'll get to see fall come in and be with my darling granddaughter. I'll let them have winter, though.

Z, thanks for this day off from the worries of the world.

It's a beautiful day here, and my Dodgers are in first place in the NL West.

What more could I ask for on this beautiful Sunday afternoon.

Looks very much like Brueghel.

FT..it is reminiscent of Brueghel...good call. Not his style but definitely his type of scenery.

When we first drove through Germany, I'd see those round bales of hay everywhere and I called them PICASSO SHEEP. As he'd have drawn them..!!
