obama and Netanyahu................got another caption? :-)

I'm fascinated with the extremely flattering words of Netanyahu toward Obama, especially considering their last meetings. Something may be up behind the scenes, huh? First Ehud Barak was very complimentary, and now Bibi? I wonder what's up. Hopefully, it's something good. After all, Obama is standing up to the Palestinians on Statehood.  Which is kind of surprising.  This is all particularly good for Obama, considering that some think Jews are turning against him in America because of his past treatment particularly toward Netanyahu.  He supported the Israeli embassy in Egypt last week; that's something I'm sure Israelis are grateful for. I think THIS article is a good interview between Stephanopoulos and Netanyahu...it's worth the read.   The picture's worth a caption....funny or not;  give it a shot! thanks!

I posted an excerpt from Obama's UN speech this morning.

I can't imagine that the speech went over very well in the Islamic world.

I think Netanyahu is stepping on Obama's toe with the heel of his shoe and telling him what a stupid lightweight he is.

The nice talk is all diplomacy, which means it's baloney.

The anti-Semites will point to this as more evidence we are controlled by a Jewish conspiracy...

Obama is campaigning for re-election. Otherwise, he would never defend Israel. It is obvious he's panicking over his falling approval ratings, particularly with the independents.

At this point, he'll say anything to anybody if he thinks it will help him get re-elected.

Everyone knows he loves Islamists and hates Jews.

Netanyahu says, "Come out against a Palestinian state, and we can help with your Jewish fund raising."

these are ALL so good, thanks!

isn't it odd, this 180 degree turn in Obama? Jews were saying they voted Republican in NY two weeks ago because of his stance and how he's their new best friend?

Couldn't help it. He does look like he took a pinch from Bibi though.

Who cares. Israel is doomed by the demographics. They can;t steal enough land to deal with their housing crisis.

They are close to lying in the bed they made.

Ducky, you need a primer on Israeli history and a to put your stiff right arm back to your side.
thanks.

Israeli Jewish birthrate is on the rise, and Arab/Muslim birth rate is plummeting throughout the region. That Israel is doomed demographically is a lie designed to demoralize Israel and her supporters.

edgeofthesandbox...Arab births are LESS? that's probably because they're HERE having children :-)

Maybe Bibi promised obama that he should stay out of his way and the grown ups will take care of the rest. i think obama seriously underestimated his influence in the middle east and has come to the realization that they view him as a useful idiot.

Besides i think obama is happy to leave the middle east to someone, anyone else. He hasn't got the brains or the ability to deal with it.

Z,
Jewish fertility for Israeli women is 2.9 and rising. Arab Israeli fertility is 3.7 and falling. I recently wrote about it here:
http://edgeofthesandbox.wordpress.com/2011/09/07/astroturf-in-israel/
(Pardon the shameless self-promotion).
The Arab birthrate in the territories is in all likelihood not what it was believed to be. See Caroline Glick here:

Religious Israeli Jews have a lot of kids, of course, but the secular ones do too. It's a really child-centered culture.
