Geeeez......I do love my readers!

This is a Valentine to all of you.......for loyally reading and supporting GeeeeZ.  I appreciate it so much, particularly since I've gone to work full time and can't spend as much time as I used to visiting your wonderful blogs.  Thank you.

I thank you for your support since Mr. Z died, in so many ways;  I've appreciated some of your mentioning him from time to time.  My Valentine was a great guy and I love that he's remembered so well by people who knew him only through his terrific writings (See "Mr. Z's Opinion" on my sidebar!).

I thank you for the terrific conversations we get into in the Comments Section at GeeeeZ......There are magical times when my regulars are here and we get into such great stuff!  I really enjoy that.

Thanks, Valentines.......I've got the best readers EVER.

Z - Happy Valentine's Day to a great lady with a great blog.

This must be a hard time for you as you remember your sweetheart - Mr. Z.

Have a good Valentine's day.

I don't mean to get depressing on this post but I just saw Yahoo headlines on their home page and this is what's important to America:

Hugh Jackman isn't gay

Buffett bought Heinz for $23 BILLION (Kerry has to have done well somehow in that deal)

Fran Drescher "sexts" "but no pictures!!) wink wink

RFK Jr is stupid enough to protest the Keystone pipeline and get arrested (great publicity, isn't it)

and we're flat broke and seriously crazy dictators are gunning up but we're gutting our military because we can't afford it (Think Obama'll even LISTEN to the generals reporting today what a HUUUGE mistake this is?) and Obama thinks spending 25 billion a YEAR is a good idea for universal preschool so 'minority and needy kids can get up to speed'.

Happy Valentine's Day, everybody.

geeeeeeeeeeeez

By the way, thanks, Bev and Sue...Bev knows firsthand that it gets easier with every year but never goes away...
but I am in one stinking mood (just heard my precious and treasured mentor has had so many TIAs in the last 2 weeks that nobody can talk with her anymore and I'm grieving BIG TIME) and maybe some of it's not having Mr Z today. subconsciously.

ugh

For you, I'll just bet it is.

Thanks, Marine4

Things have cheered up here because I'm substitute teaching 2 classes..just heard. :-) I LOVE THAT.

As for Ducky...maybe YOU find that important, I find nukes in N Korea far more important for American news headlines.

Marine4ever said...

Good for YOU, Z! That IS great news and congratulations!

Thank you for your wonderful blog, too! (Mustang put me on to it and I appreciate him for doing so.)

Ya, I hope it's not more APRIL FOOLS.

We've got to get rid of Brennan, too........I'm HOPING Rand Paul can ask him if he feels killing Americans on American soil with drones is a good idea. :-)

Also, I don't know what MORON would even consider NOT killing AMericans we know are working against our country on foreign shores; if you disagree, let's talk about it!

Maybe the time has come for them to step in?

@Z:

I don't think that the military is not wary of this and are dead set against it.

Maybe the time is ripe for someone to stage a coup? Why not....every other country on the planet has had one at one time or another.

We had one twice....maybe it is time for another?

Either that or the Joint Chiefs resign in protest...that'd be nice.

"Pakistani Disapproval of U.S. Leadership Soars in 2012..

In recent years, Pakistanis have turned further away from West.

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- With President Barack Obama's first term characterized by strained relations between Pakistan and the U.S., more than nine in 10 Pakistanis (92%) disapprove of U.S. leadership and 4% approve, the lowest approval rating Pakistanis have ever given.

Chuck Hagel Blocked: Harry Reid Says He Doesn’t Have The Votes

Chuck Hagel’s path to the Pentagon struck another major roadblock on Thursday when Senate Republicans kept up their threat to filibuster, throwing the nomination into limbo as Congress prepared to quit town for a weeklong recess.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said on the Senate floor that Republicans were blocking Hagel over their demands that he and the White House give more information about Hagel’s background and the Sept. 11 Benghazi attacks.

Angry Democrats slammed that move, contending Hagel has cleared every bar on his financial disclosures and that he has nothing to do with Benghazi – and that the appearance of a headless Pentagon would only invite trouble for national security.

Nonetheless, senior Democratic aides said Thursday morning that Hagel’s nomination did not appear to have the 60 votes it needs to overcome Republican objections before a key Friday procedural vote, setting up a scenario in which the Senate might not act on Hagel until Feb. 25 at the earliest.

Lisa, FT, FJ, thanks so much.

Imp...nobody's REALLY DOING ANYTHING. There are MANY Americans who don't even KNOW what Obama's going to do to our military. He knows that; he can slide by.
And the media, other than FOX, barely covers this!

Darth, they'll act on Hagel after the dust has settled; I'd be stunned if he doesn't get in.
Obama won't have that.

We're working on it...he only has a 45% or so "approval" rating now. Far less than he had in the beginning.

Must be cause he's not giving away the keys to the store and our candy fast enough.

Yeah, Darth and Kid, thanks for the pick-me-up on 'Chucky!' It helps, but I'm afraid it's false hope. Like Mrs. Z said, I'll be really surprised if he doesn't get it after the dust settles; Down Low Bath House Barry never has played by the rules.

@ I'm no moron -- Here's your topic:

When a 'U.S. citizen' meets the following requirements: has declared and executed lethal acts of aggression toward the United States of America and has taken refuge on foreign soil that the U.S. is incapable of bringing said 'U.S. citizen' back to face charges on CONUS and said 'U.S. citizen' will not, and has proven to have no intentions of willfully returning to face the charges of treason, terrorism or other charges of high crimes, then, by these actions, said 'U.S. citizen' has willfully given up said 'U.S. citizen's' right to due process as provided in the Constitution of the United States of America and said 'U.S. citizen's' ass becomes grass by any means possible -- preferably, long, drawn out and as painful as possible. Collateral damage will be treated as, "Sorry 'bout that... y'all shouldn't have been standing so near."

From: "Marine4Ever -- Article I -- Section 1 -- Paragraph 1"

Case closed and there will be no further discussion.

Marine,

All Anwar al-Aulaqi did was WRITE things the US government disagreed with.

Hell, I disagree with what he wrote and preached too, but I wouldn't waste a missile on him.

Marine4ever said...

So, beamish, you wanna talk about 'I'll Walkie' having terror charges brought against him for plotting to kill and for being a member of a terrorist group?

Or, the e-mails that linked him to another Muzzie at Fort Hood, who just happened to get pumped up enough from their pen pal letters, to kill 13 people in November 2009?

Then, there are the charges that he allegedly helped set up a Nigerian dude, one Umar Farouk Alphabet, in a failed attempt to bomb an airliner over Detroit on Christmas Day in 2009.

Hey! How about how he was linked to yet another failed bombing in New York City's Times Square -- back in May 2010, I think it was.

And, how can we forget that he was accused of buying at least three airline tickets for at least three of the ____ _______ ____s during their 9/11 slaughter of AMERICAN citizens? Side note: I'll bet that it was a rude awakening when the ____ _______ ____s didn't find 72 virgins waiting for them at Hell's front door.

All of the above are just a few of what 'I'll Walkie' was, or could have been, charged with.

Naaaw, beamish, as you say,"All 'I'll Walkie' did was "WRITE things the US government disagreed with." To that I'll say, "When hell freezes over and monkeys fly out my butt."

As an 'American citizen,' if you take refuge on foreign soil and refuse to come back to face charges and there is no extradition on said foreign soil... see clarification described in "Marine4Ever - Article I - Section 1 - Paragraph 1" dated 14 February 2013 at 11:16 PM this blog.

You're right, though, beamish. I wouldn't waste a missile on him, either. That's too quick. You ever seen anybody crawl through four miles of muck and mire to be able to come up from behind and slit a throat? It can be fast and easy or it can be slow and painful.

Slow and painful is the way for scum bags like 'I'll Walkie' to go. And the whole time, you're just sawing away -- while the maggot is gurgling and drowning on his own blood and spit -- until you've got that head severed and you bring it back for show-and-tell.

How all this got started on a blog that was about 'Happy Valentine's Day,' is beyond me.
