They'll lie themselves out of this, too.

THIS ARTICLE convinced me the recent Associated Press/Phone records scandal would all just go away like everything else does for the Obama White House.  Read the link and see how the Post is swinging it......you see, Holder's onto some very important leaks and needed to take all these phone records and the fact that he didn't tell anybody is because he was afraid of someone interfering in his investigations.  :-)  ARE YOU KIDDING ME??   Most of you know that I am ALL FOR keeping things undercover if they have to be undercover, but this?

They figure a way out of EVERYTHING.  They're far more cunning than the Republicans, they have most of the media behind them, and they keep overcoming case after case thrown against them...with such convincing facts, even if they aren't facts.  I'm reading now that the White House had no knowledge of this (SURPRISE!)....is this going to be a break between buddies Holder and Obama?  Will Obama have to dump him?   Will this spoil Holder's chances of a Supreme Court Justice position?

I think it's really problematic, "this massive intrusion into news gathering activities," don't you?   Looking into private home phone records, cell numbers, work numbers...?   The problem is it was SO widespread, not like a standard investigation at all, if you've heard the experts on this.  They're saying this is waaaay beyond normal.

Imagine if a Republican..............?  oh, never mind.

They're winning.  We deserve it.   And I put a lot of the blame on you who didn't vote.  Or voted for a guy you knew had absolutely no chance.  You were just 'too conservative'....too righteous.  @#$(&*#(*&  Now our country has no chance.

good job.

Let’s do, Geeeez, what I commonly call the Logical Extension, and that is this:

These days, when journalists want quotes they are predominantly lazy and spoiled by technology. You would be (or perhaps not) amazed at how many “quotes” are acquired by sending e-mails back and forth to those they wish to interview.

Lazily.

So, this: if the DOJ tapped phones, wouldn’t it be even more logical that, further, the DOJ would nail the e-mails of the AP as well?

Why haven’t I heard of this?

Because, after all, you KNOW that occurred.

Well don't get your hands dirty on my account.

Mitt Romney spent a quarter-billion dollars smearing conservatives in the GOP primaries and all you got was a bumper sticker.

If it turns out that holder the impaler was tapping the NYT's phones and emails...( which I'm all for as they are the worst of national security leakers and traitors ) all hell will really break loose.

Can you imagine Mo Dowds ( their answer to Coulter ) rage? And MadCow's too?

Sad thing is they won't have to lie.
Just say they had to do it to fight the scary terrorists and that's the end of it and we'll all go back to Benghazi 24/7.

Here's a good idea: let's ask Eric Holder to investigate his boss, Barack Obama. I'm sure it will be an honest effort.

Actually, what I think is happening right now is that Eric and Hussein are having a drink (paid for by the taxpayer), and laughing their asses off about the DOJ investigation into the IRS.

During drink #2, they'll put together another enemies list.

One conservative estimate is that there are close to 2 million terrorists in the world. They must not be efficient, as Ducky is still trolling the blogosphere with his inane credulity.

Give this one a read, good stuff

A, That last paragragh there in particular. Stellar.

Yea, thanks morons. We had a chance to kill obammycare and YOU had a chance to get major medical healthcare when you get older. Now when the gov sends you pain pills instead (if that) you know who to thank for helping make that happen. Just look in the mirror.

Beam, you don't have a leg to stand on here. YOUR issue was gay marriage, and you thought obama would make that situation better for you?

Cordially.

Not A, I meant Z, but Z, you are an A !

Back to the main point now. So, what does it take for the 'media' morons to get a clue.

If obama sends some storm troopers to their house to haul them off to gitmo in the dead of night - never to be seen again, did they already write a letter to their families in the even of thier disappearance?

Dear family, If I disappear, know it must have been done for the good of the fuhrer - i mean our country, and I don't want you to ....

Yet, It's OK for the Indonesian Stepchild to leak about the Navy Seals after Bin Laden Assassination.
That got 6 of them killed (He Put Them ALL in ONE Helicopter).

Told you this one gets a pass

"I want to see the details -- what was their rationale, why did they do it -- before offering an opinion," said Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), who earlier this week accused the administration of engaging in a "cover-up" in Benghazi. "For me, to rush to a judgment without knowing all the facts is just not appropriate."

Yeah, right, Knuckles.

False.

My issue was that the Republican Party tried to bill Mitt Romney as a conservative.

Had they had been more honest, and claimed he is a far-left douchebag who's been in the vanguard of opposition to the conservative agenda for the past 30 years "but at least he's our left-wing douchebag" I may have actually seriously considered voting for him.

But no, they had to INSIST upon calling him conservative.

The last ditch effort when that didn't work was "put your principles aside and vote for Romney anyway."

Go back and read the "conservative" blogosphere during the time. "Back a loser because he's our loser" was the perennial theme.

How's your bumper sticker?

beamish said...

Because the Republican Party shows no signs of actively purging its membership of anyone who thought running Mitt Romney for President was a good idea, it doesn't appear to me that they learned anything in the last election.

beamish said...

Perhaps in 2016, there will be a conservative candidate and the Republican Party will ask Romney supporters to set aside their principles and vote for the conservative.

Ya think? Me neither.

I noted last night that White House issued a special statement about the AP surveillance -- AT 8:30 P.M.

Panic mode?

ya, beamish, he'd have used the IRS and let diplomats feel their backs aren't covered and use his pal/DoJ head to steal records, too:)
Of course I blame you; why else write what I did?
And are you starting to sound just a tad defensive and a little guilty? I would.

Imp: Holder the Impaler...good one.

Sam..imagine him investigating himself again? And the public doesn't get a little clued in? :-)
However, I completely disagree; I think the AP thing is causing his Obama a lot of angst with his good buddy Eric. You don't tick off the media when the media's your buddy.

Beam, Of course the republicans aren't worth the toilet paper they're printed on. Of Course running romney was absurd.

And Of Course you voting for Mickey M O U S E was even more absurd in 2012.

2016 I'm with ya. You were 4 years early. Now, we stuck with obammycare and No Health Care for Seniors!

Richard Wiley and Chris Christie were on Romney's short list for AG nomination if he had won the election. A corporate banking lawyer all up inside the same circles Eric Holder ran in, and a dipshit blowhard fat ass ally of CAIR.

You sure we in bad shape?

Of course I blame you; why else write what I did?

Perhaps you should confer with Mustang. He seems to believe the election results were rigged, in which case nobody but Obama would win. But hey, you got a bumper sticker, right?

And are you starting to sound just a tad defensive and a little guilty? I would.

Yes. Using my time machine to go back and change the Republican Party into a sick joke was just over the top, wasn't it?

"...nobody but Obama would win"...so that means you're off the hook?

Re 2016; who knows?

Gary Johnson again? You've got to be kidding.

Honestly, I'd vote for Rand Paul, I think, tho I disagree with a little of what he says.

beamish said...

And holding the pole. Which wing of the GOP are you in? The wing blaming conservatives for Romney losing (despite his losing even among conservatives) or the wing claiming the election was stolen?

Or are you the bridge of those two camps?

Many in the GOP stayed home on election day, yet the dems vote asw many times as they can get away with... it's simple math why we lost the election.

beamish said...

All I can say is that it's been 6 months since the election, and the Republican Party has yet to announce that Romney supporters are no longer welcome in the party, so it's not like they're trying to woo me back.
