I enjoy those "extreme sports" things that go around the internet from time to time, like this one. I have to suspect that this one isn't as dangerous as it looks, though. He's standing on a rock that apparently borders a pool the other two are immersed in, and the water isn't rushing all that fast past him. The scenery is great in any case.

Jungle Mom? I was at an appointment on the 9th floor once and walked towards a floor to ceiling window and jumped back 3 feet when I got to the glass! On the other hand, I've walked job site elevators that had about 2' between the cab and the concrete floor with NO glass ...jumped across and onto the slab floor on the 16th floor, so.......
The rest of the pictures show people relaxed and happy, with KIDS near the edge so, while it's only allowed for a few months a year, it's obviously not that dangerous. I MIGHT stay down IN the water but I would NOT stand like he is. It's clear it wouldn't take much to fall.

Pinky says it better than I and in less words!! (as usual!)

cj, it's obviously not AS dangerous as it looks, but I'm not too big on heights, I guess.

UH.................NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!

Well, it takes me a while to get the point, but since that is the question, no, I couldn't do it either. I don't think I could even get into the pool. Even thinking about heights gives me a queer feeling in my legs.

Well, cj, I'm kind of relieved and not QUITE so embarrassed of my squeamishness now that you say what you're saying. In your previous comment I thought you were ready to take the plunge (you should pardon the expression!)
You're right...it makes my legs like cooked spaghetti just looking at that guY!

ME....thanks for coming by! YOu ought to see the video a friend here (FT) sent me tonight. OH MY GOD. It's a guy walking on THE narrowest path which literally falls away from time to time and he negotiates around those 'holes' with SHEER falls of hundreds of feet below. I swear it was photo shopped, but it's probably real. NO, THANKS!!

Good to have you here, my friend! buenas noches!

Not with my vertigo problems! I wouldn't get closer to the edge of a lookout in Yosemite than 30'!
I'm shuddering!

I'd do it with a cigarette in my mouth and evil grin on my face.

That looks like real fun.
