Have a good Sunday..,The economic crisis is scary...but worrying won't help......

"Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?" Matthew 6:26-27

Easier said than done, I know.............Spend a whole Sunday without worrying. I'll try, too! Have a wonderful day.

Learn from today's mistakes so you will be better prepared for tomorrows, better yet you can avoid tomorrows ones.

It isn't the experience of Today that drives men mad;but the bitterness of something that happened Yesterday and the dread of what Tomorrow may bring. Therefore, let us live but One Day at a Time''-Bill Wilson. Bonjour Madame Z, comment c'est va c'est matin? Je suis tres bien et mon mari aussi. Et vous?. Theres worry and then theres prayer. I like to do the latter.:-) Johnnymac.

I wept because I had no shoes, until I saw a man who had no feet.

When we look up, all we see are those who are wealthier than we are. We note they live in expensive homes, drive luxury automobiles, belong to country clubs, and travel in the best circles. Perhaps at this point we might ask, “Where did I go wrong?”

When we look down, we find so many people who are hungry, suffer illnesses, live inside a vat of despair, are without adequate clothing, and have no one to hold them. At this point, we might offer a prayer of thanksgiving.

Looking down provides a much better perspective about where we are … and where we might have been. It reminds us that God has blessed us mightily, and with His blessing, what could possibly worry us?

"O, rest in the Lord. Wait patiently for Him, and He shall give thee thy heart's desires. Commit thy way unto Him, and trust in him, and fret not thyself because of evildoers. O rest in the Lord, wait patiently for Him."

~ St. Paul (Also a well-known aria from the oratorio of that name and text by Felix Mendelssohn)

Morning, Pinky!

And thanks, everybody, for coming by.

Sometimes we have to worry, but it rarely does any good!!

Larry King once asked an evanglist "isn't Christianity just a CRUTCH!?" The evangelist looked at him and said "ya....and mostly it's the WHOLE HOSPITAL!"

This sounds good to me and it's MONDAY! This weekend was too full of family to blog so I guess I got the gist of your message even if I was late in coming. :-)
