Another way our media mischaracterizes (lies?).
Does this article reflect Romney's sentiment from the quotes in the AP article title (above) Yahoo has on its home page? You decide... is it honest? The media sure likes putting out that "if McCain fails" though...
Check out this quote from the article: "While Romney wished McCain and Palin well, his friends and advisers say if they fail in the general election, Romney is primed — even anxious — to mount a second bid for the White House.
He left himself some wiggle room Tuesday, saying, "That's not in my mind; that's not in my plans."
So, this means he's making a second bid? Then there's this: "Now, Romney can again concentrate on the presidency, even as he buffs a veneer of support for the McCain-Palin ticket .." See the implication? "a veneer of support"
The media's at it BIG TIME~!! "Romney knew it would be rude to be a sore loser. So, even though he thought he had endorsed McCain in the Feb. 7 speech that ended his own presidential bid, Romney submitted to cameras and questions a week later to reiterate that support for the rival he once said lacked the economics background to be president..."
Now they're reading his mind..."he knew it would be rude to be a sore loser" then they say... "he once said lacked the economics background to be president.." See how much MORE they packed into the article? ANY chance they get.

The man is nothing but a politically ambitious animal. McCheese would have had to have few extra food tasters on staff if Romney were VP.

the piece I posted isn't about Romney, really, it's about the Associated Press and Yahoo's agenda. I find it sad that quotes are right there and different conclusions are drawn even with his direct quotes right in front of us.

I think Romney let a lot of us down after McCain's nomination, because he came back, bootlicking McCain, where just two weeks prior to it, he was attacking McCain.
That's just not good character. Romney is a guy who's in this for himself, entirely.

Now, in a fine display of disgusting Republican values we have young Juno Palin and her high school drop out shotgun husband getting married and living off mom's big oil slush fund but just think about this one for a moment.
Palin is rabidly anti-choice, wanting it to be illegal in all cases except when the mother's life is threatened. This is a program which provides housing for teen mothers "in need of a place to live," presumably due to the fact that their parents and sperm donors are somewhat less than supportive. Despite this, these young women choose (that word!) to have their babies. And the program which might give them, and their newborns, a place to live is something Palin cuts the funding for. Maybe they can go live with the bears.
This is why we find Republican fundies disgusting.

Problem with the teen pregnancy bill Palin vetoed could be BUDGETARY. She might have thought other things like anti-terrorism security, infrastructure and education was more worthy of money. Conservatives just don't print money or strap all the people for the mistakes of a few.
Plus, there are tons of faith-based homes and others for girls in this situation. My sister serves on a board of one large group who does this; they convince moms not to kill the life within them and it supports them for at least a year. You'd hate it.

Alaska has a large surplus due to the oil revenue they receive at the current high prices and she cuts a home for young pregnant women and a food pantry.

There's rumor now that HE picked Palin out of the governor bunch. He was the head of governors (whatevertheheck that is!) and she came in after, but apparently he stayed plugged in and saw her merits and her sale-ability.
I HOPE he's coming here to run for SOMETHING. I am convinced he COULD WIN.
