Thank you, God for the gift of your Son!

Thanks for the reminder, Z. It is wonderful to see your faith shining through all your heartache. What would we do without God's promises?

Beautiful Z. It is clear that a high bar has been set for us all. I think we who observe His teachings try to measure up to it.

Since we are mere humans, we can hope we'll be forgiven for those times we don't quite make it.

This is one of the primary reasons I've loved photography all my life. My memory is now and never has been very good; worse now with age and trauma. But photography, first with film and now digitally, has always been one of my primary hobby loves -- to the point that many of my friends and relatives seem to always want copies of whatever I take.

Yes, you can duplicate a Moment In Time in your mind; a photograph of the same event seems, in a good way, to be even slightly closer to God.

God bless.

Z, what a precious photo of Mr. Z and your scripture...what a tribute to him. Thanks for sharing that with us.

Blessings friend. Hope you are doing okay.

thanks, everybody....yes, this is so precious to me and the scripture just fit him so well.
By far, over all the gorgeous pictures I've found in the 45 Sunday Faith Blogs I've done by now, and no matter what the scripture I put with the pictures, THIS is my favorite.

My dear sweet husband in the milieu he loved so much...photo'd by his daughter on a happy day for them on the sand.

It breaks my heart, then I replace that with very humble and real gratitude that I knew him at all. xx

God Bless you Z! Remember, our wonderful Lord Jesus paid for our sins in full, & when we trust in Him, as he said, we'll never see spiritual death, or as death is separation, we'll never see separation from Him! As Sue said, He promises it & what would we do without His promises? Time does not necessarily heal, but HE does! (Ps.147:3) May the Lord bless you Z, & thank you for sharing with us.

The most beautiful thing about it all?

That time, that moment, captured forever, can NEVER be taken away from you.

Thank you for saying that, Z. It is exactly the right idea to carry for all of us who have suffered loss of the physical presence of someone who has touched us deeply.

Gratitude for the privilege of having known and been close to those we have loved and admired keeps them alive in our hearts as long as we remember.

You will find, I think, as times goes on, that Mr. Z is still there to advise you and share the joys, sorrows and frustrations sure to come. By that I mean that because you knew and loved him you will be able to see and hear things through his eyes and ears as well as your own.

God is Love. God is eternal and unchanging, therefore, love can never die or diminish.

May God bless, sustain and comfort you always,

Thank you VERY VERY much for your kind words.

THIS IS AN ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE THING, this losing someone you loved SO MUCH and someone who thought YOU were the best thing that ever breathed....but it's possible.
