Birth Certificates....Who's keeping it in the news?

WOW!   As most of you know, I'm not big on spending a lot of time exploring the possibility that Obama wasn't born in America.......but when Democrats go to SUCH LENGTHS to keep information quiet, doesn't it make you curious, too?

Most people are OVER it...they understand there's a stone wall and, for some reason, Hawaii locked up the certificate and now there's the information in the link, too!!...Why are Democrats still trying today to prove or disprove where he was born?   And they blame the Right??

And the longer it goes on and stirs up nuts like Orly Taitz the more this will serve its purpose and make the right look marginal. Good stuff.

Z said...

Glad you said that, Ducky, you illustrate my point; I wouldn't know who Orly Taitz was were it not for you mentioning this person from time to time.
Why is the Left fighting so hard to keep this IN the news? Why the sudden information on the link you must not have looked at again?

WE don't care; the Left cares deeply enough that Hawaii has to go into action again, stopping a Leftist governor from HIS TRUTH about his buddy Obama and Obama's parents and how he knows Obama was born in Hawaii ...now Hawaii won't let him prove it? It's very odd.

Maybe the Dems are hedging their bets so if they need to dump Obama from the 2012 ticket, they have a good reason.

There has been a lot of time and money spent on this issue. Think of the implications of what it means if he is not eligible to be President. Would he be eligible if his mother was not old enough to confer citizenship when he was born? If his father was not an American would that make him ineligible? And if he does not meet the requirements of "natural born American" does that disqualify him today?

What if the story that was going around recently that an American businessman doing a partnership with a Russian individual was told by the drunken wife of his business partner that a black man was being groomed to become President who would change things in a big way? That story seems credible.

Oh, yeah, I think Orly Taitz is somebody who left the former Soviet paradise and understands exactly the failings of socialism ore than most of the "edjumicated" and deranged-leftist-rabid frothers in the country today.

Free dump on Ducky day. After fourteen inches of snow he wheeled out his proud new toy --- the 6HP Toro PowerThro.

Surely this is an invention of unsurpassed utility. Everything clear in 30 minutes and I did my next door neighbors sidewalk (he's Muslim, hope it's okay) and the miracle is that somehow the drifts around the illegal's uninsured crapbox that blares the lousy salsa music and dinged my other neighbors front door just found the drifts around it getting higher.

No, this is mean spirited and surely not the enlightenment the Buddha had in mind but it is a wondrous machine.

AOW, thanks...I went by BZ's and now the video says that MIKE EVANS SAYS HE MISSPOKE in quoting Abercrombie, which is even WEIRDER when you've heard the video and how he so naturally and spontaneously related what Abercrombie was saying during the inauguration week! Somebody must have got to Mike and Abercrombie...the big SLAM SHUT again on the birth certificate.
It just gets weirder and weirder.

Soapster, good points.

Beth, I had that same feeling when I heard BZ's video at his site... listening, I thought "are the Left setting Obama up to get rid of him?"

Ducky, after the snow you've had, you don't need anybody dumping more of anything on you! Enjoy your new machine and stay warm.

Duck,
You have a Toro PowerThro? Excellent piece of machinery.

I think that's what my neighbor Brian has. He's younger than a lot of others living on this street and clears everyone's driveway (and, in my case, the area around my car, which has street-parking only). That amounts to some 15 houses.

Brian also helped me clean off the Hyundai. I'm too short to shovel off the roof of any car.

Clearing the driveways and the area around my car takes Brian about 30 minutes each.

As for Muslim neighbors, we no longer have any on our street. But when we did, my Muslim neighbors were out there with shovels and helping all of us. I'm sure that you'll be shocked that I was on good terms with my Muslim neighbors; they had a key to my house and I to theirs -- for emergency purposes and to tend to pets during vacations. This was prior to 9/11; my Muslim neighbor suddenly departed in 1999 for the Middle East.

Neighbors should help each other during inclement weather events. Put aside differences and chip in, I say.

Thank God that I didn't fall this year on the ramp. I did so last year. Ouch.

Z, it is weird, and the term "stone wall" is appropriate.

As long as this subterfuge goes on, it will dog Obama, people will wonder.

Contrary to Ducky's silly remark about the right looking marginal, the reality still is that Obama has spent nearly one million dollars in his effort to keep this behind that stone wall.

I know, as do most here, that nothing will be done about this. There's isn't the will among the political establishment to do anything but look the other way, and the media isn't likely to either.

It's not odd though for doubt to exist when considering the reality
that a lot about Obama is kept from the public, including this issue.

By now this is a done deal, and efforts to expose whatever tidbits can be gleaned from this mystery, are dismissed as nutty.

Well, they're not nutty, their efforts are just fruitless. This is weird, and will leave doubt connected to this President, whether it's true or not.

Z said...

Pris, well said...but I also think it gives doubt to our whole presidency. any future presidency, when people haven't been shown, 100%, that this pres is legal or not. It's positively unnerving to a lot of people.
The courts keep slamming shut the case even on Democrats like PHilip Berg who feels this president isn't legitimate because of his birth.

What's it TAKE? Like BZ's link says "a live birth certificate is as valid as a baptism certificate when it comes to legality" He's probably right.

Who paid for Harvard? etc etc....we could all make a list....
it's troubling and confusing; Americans don't need confusion and there isn't any NEED for it; these things are provable:

PROVE IT, OBAMA. Tell us the truth, other presidents have been open books even when they didn't want to be because we THEN had an honest, unbiased MEDIA.

gotta go for most of the day..duke it out, everybody....
I'll be eager to read your comments and, thanks again for coming to geeeZ xxx

I find it weirdest that the 'celebrity journalist' is now in denial. What is that all about?

As far as BO's questionable birth location, I don't care where he was born, what really bothers me, is that he holds values that are not American. That's the real problem because I know many people who weren't born in the US, but who hold dear the principles of our Constitution.

duhkkky don't forget it was the left who started this with Mccain's birth certificate and the Clintons as Z mentioned with Berg who started this particular drive.

Why? It's easy to marginalize people you can call kooks. As longa as the birth certificate is not produced they can keep marginalizing those who question it.

My conclusion.........

The Right will always hate the Left and the Left will always hate the Right, nothing will ever get done to benefit our country until this stops.

There was nothing and I mean nothing Bush could have said or done that would have ever pleased the Left. There is nothing Obama can do or say that will ever please the Right.

This is the country we live in, these are the fools we elect to office.

Mark said...

The law states that anyone born of a natural born American citizen is a citizen. Obama's mother was a citizen. Case closed as far as I'm concerned.

Not that I wouldn't like a good reason to throw him out of office. It's just that that particular reason isn't valid.

But, to paraphrase Shakespeare, "Methinks the Liberal doth protest too much."

Well, the Obama nomination caused quite a disturbance in the Democratic Party. Not only did Hillary Clinton recieve more popular votes in the Democratic primaries and caucuses, Obama was awarded delegates from states in which his name did not appear on the ballot.

This caused the two largest left-wing factions of the Democratic Party, the Obama supporting union labor Weather Underground / Students for a Democratic Society terrorist wing and the Hillary supporting Wilsonian progressive Ku Klux Klan Democratic Leadership Kouncil to enter into a heated backroom debate over which candidate would be more successful at forwarding the anti-Federalist Democratic Party agenda of destroying the US Constitution with the highest attendant body count.

The competition was fierce. Both candidates could cite their support for aborting the children of American citizens and the marketing of abortion services to minorities. Obama was even able to point to his support of post-natal infanticide in Illinois.

Both candidates had plans to nationalize the health care industry and stamp domestic medical technology research and development out of existence with excise taxes and fees in order to fast track government rationing and euthanasia mandates against American citizens deemed too expensive, black, or Jewish to keep alive.

In the end, the "tie breaker" was the issue of Obama's birth certificate and citizenship status. That Hillary's klavern even expressed concern that Obama does not meet Constitutional requirements to hold the office of President was enough to convince even hardline DLC superdelegates appointed by Bill Clinton that Hillary wasn't as committed to destroying the Constitution as all Democratic candidates for President should unquestionably be.

And so, Hillary Clinton was dismissed as a candidate despite having the majority of delegates for the nomination, and given Secretary of State instead, provided she continues to diplomatically attrite US and NATO Central Asian supply line cooridors in Afghanistan out of existence while paying whoever claims to be the Taliban money to attack US troops.

The outrage of Obama's ineligibility to be President and becoming President anyway will become one of those curious items of history like the Kennedy-Johnson ticket in 1960 winning more votes in Chicago and Tarrant County, Texas than people that actually lived there at the time.

Not voting for Democrats would seem to be the obvious solution baring another President Grant coming along to bust up Ku Klux Klan meetings in an effort to break the Democratic Party's left-wing base.

Bases for Citizenship: Birth, Blood, or Naturalization

The U.S. recognizes citizenship according to two fundamental principles: jus soli (right of birthplace), and jus sanguinis (right of blood). Under jus soli, a person receives American citizenship by virtue of being born in the United States. By contrast, jus sanguinis confers citizenship on those born to at least one U.S. citizen anywhere in the world. A person who does not qualify under either of these principles may seek U.S. citizenship through the process of naturalization.

His mother was a US citizen, shouldn't that close this issue?

CS,

When Obama's mother Stanley Ann Dunham gave birth to him at Coast Provincial General Hospital in Mombassa, Kenya on August 4th, 1961 at 7:24pm local time, she was not old enough by US immigration laws at the time to confer US citizenship to a child of a foreign national regardless of where he was born.

Obama would have had to have applied to be naturalized as a US citizen on his 18th birthday, something he could not do in order to retain his Indonesian passport to travel in Pakistan or to obtain foreign student financial aid for his stint at Occidental College in California.

Obama is not an American citizen and no bill he has signed or order he has given applies to US citizens.

Speedy G said...

Jus sanguinis - Under certain circumstances, US citizenship can be acquired via jus sanguinis from one's parents. The following conditions affect children born outside the US and its outlying possessions to married parents (special conditions affect children born out of wedlock: see below):

If both parents are US citizens, the child is a citizen if either of the parents has ever lived in the US prior to the child's birth

If one parent is a US citizen and the other parent is a US national, the child is a citizen if the US citizen parent has lived in the US for a continuous period of at least one year prior to the child's birth If one parent is a US citizen and the other parent is not, the child is a citizen if the US citizen parent has been "physically present" in the US before the child's birth for a total period of at least five years, and at least two of those five years were after the US citizen parent's fourteenth birthday. Children born overseas out of wedlock

Z, this is probably the most important ramification of this quandary. The doubt this raises is pervasive and leads to a lack of trust in the law itself.

It conjures up a picture of anarchy and diminishes the importance of the Constitution. If our political establishment is accepting of blurring the law, who can we trust?

I believe Barack Obama's marriage to Michelle may have conferred US citizenship upon him, but he still would not meet the "natural born" requirement.

As usual the law is an ass.

As things stand now any pregnant female from any dark savage corner of the world who can find a way to get her body onto US soil before she whelps will give birth to a "natural-born US citizen" no matter what the status is of either parent. Yet, the citizenship of infants born to a bona fide US citizen who happens to be living abroad is subject to "special conditions."

If that makes any sense to yo, you probably don't have good sense to begin with.

Perhaps, more attention should be given to the fact that after having been adopted by his stepfather, Lolo Soetero, and having a birth certificate stating that his name is Barry Soetero, he may not have, legally, changed his name back to Barak Hussein Obama..which could explain why he spent so much money assuring that the public would never see any of his legal documents.

I read an article, recently, that said that he probably received funds for his education, using the name Barry Soetero, and taking advantage of his having lived all those years in Indonesia.

That makes sense, all things considered.

I think this is something that is known by those who have been complicit in helping to keep all of his legal documents secret.

Unfortunately, we will probably never know the truth about it.

Actually, the author of the 14th Amendment, Senator John Bingham, included the phrase "and subject to the jurisdiction thereof" to shoot down that argument, and prevent foreign ambassadors and diplomats from other countries to father or give birth to "Americans" while on US soil.

Subsequent left-wing favoring Supreme Court decisions have fumbled this up with the doctrine of "selective incorporation" wherein they decide that some states' citizens are more Constitutionally protected than other states' citizens and so on.

Tequila, and Angie O'Plastie (clever)...thanks for coming by!

Mark, one has to be born ON American soil, I'm sure that's right.

Anonymous...thanks for the link.....MAINE, LIBERAL MAINE, is on the list? I think it's the least we can expect of a presidential nominee...an original birth certificate.

SO many good comments I can't respond to them all right now......

Let me just say that I think people in the gov't are scared at what wculd happen if it WAS found that Obama wasn't born here, therefore wasn't legally a presidential candidate in the first place.
What do you think would happen if it was irrefutably proven?

Perhaps the courts are more afraid of that than they are of having an illegal president? How did this happen? HOW did he get by without OBVIOUS, TRUE proof?

It's SO EASY to prove, THAT is why Conservatives are befuddled by this.....this isn't some conspiracy thing that could go both ways and it's silly to complain or keep bringing up because 'WHO KNOWS?', this is A BIRTH CERTIFICATE, something we ALL HAVE...or at least we can get from the hospital where we were birthed.
What are the chances there's a question about where you were born AND that hospital didn't have records (tho my friend Jean's brother was born there around the time O was and HE has proof of his birth which looks nothing like what Obama's people have produced by the way), and the person who SAYS he knows has been silenced AND access to any record of that certificate was legally slammed shut, I believe, the wknd Obama went to visit his dying grandmother in Hawaii?

Tell me where I'm wrong. Some of this is by memory but I think I'm correct on most of it.
