"Liar, liar, pants on fire.........?"

Do YOU think KERRY LIED?

I'm curious.

You won't believe this one:
"Secretary Kerry is, as you all know, a decorated combat veteran," State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki said, referring to Kerry's service during the Vietnam War. "He's had ... more than words aimed at him."

Boy, that's embarrassing. These are really troubling times, folks.  Is that the best that State has?

I disagree with any intervention in Syria. Especially now at this late date. It would be pointless.
In addition, multiple polls in America show that the US citizens are opposed to more wars in the New Middle East.
If Obama chooses the forces of "creative chaos" over the will of a majority of US voters, he should be Impeach if he Strikes Syria for his arrogance.

Is Kerry contemplating a run for POTUS in 2016?

Kerry and McCain are two peas in a pod. I wouldn't trust either of their opinions on anything. Just like Obama they both have an agenda and it is not one that is good for this country.

Z - All I can say is that I hope Kerry hasn't lied. Nothin would surprise me these days.

He's a Democrat. Of course he lied. If he was a Republican, there would be a 60% chance that he lied.

Gunslinger.....I veer toward the 'no intervention' side.

Did you see CNN last night? They had Syrians who are Americans begging NOT to hit Assad because they back him. Many MANY Syrians do.
Nicholas Kristof of the NYT said "Then why isn't he having an election if you're all so sure most people support him? You're wrong!"
Very painful to all those Syrians in the audience begging America not to attack, that "it's none of America's business.." interesting.
Almost painful to watch.

Anonymous; I am used to disagreeing with Kerry and Obama's agenda; why do you think McCain's such a loose canon?

Sue...I hope not, too, but it seems pretty clear. No, nothing should surprise us these days!

AOW..no time to read the link yet, but that was NO WAY TO START MY DAY OFF :-=)

what about the State Department's response which, basically, boils down to "Kerry dodged BULLETS as a 'decorated combatant', Putin's words don't affect him!"

I love our military at least as much as most people do (MUCH more than most), but I have never believed in that "He was in the military, he can do no wrong now."

I hope I don't offend any military friends I have here, but........

I DON'T believe that Kerry, in all of his grandiloquence and allegiance to the Fraud-in-Chief,cares to even differentiate between truth and lies! True of his megalomanic persona he considers himself above any thought of incredulity!

And now we hear PUTIN AND OBAMA HAD A SURPRISE MEETING.

"SURPRISE!" :-)
Apparently, "it went quite well!"
oh, man.

And Off Topic: Krugman says Obama's economy's a failure! he didn't put ENOUGH money into it. No matter that there's no way we can DIG OUT of even what we're invested in SO far, but HE thinks it should have been HUGELY more.
Economics 101. You spend what you have.

Any President, be it Bush or Obama, who has lied intentionally and blatantly ceases to have authority, and should be impeached.

As for Bush and Iraq....
I wanted Saddam dead and got my wish. Name ONE lie that Bush told. As I recall, every intelligence agency in the free world as well as the UN thought Saddam was lying about his WMD's and he really DID have them and you can bet your life that Syria has them right now..John Kerry did in effect. After voting for the invasion of Iraq he did exactly what he did after Vietnam. He turned on Bush and his fellow Americans and criticized every decision he made.
But lets face facts, Obumbler and the Democrats are now war the mongers, and the Liberal blogers seem to be very silent over that. As is the Progressive Wicked Witch of the Blogisphere. .

I won't side with the people who are out there beheading, eating the living guts of others, kill children in front of their parents, burn churches and shoot little girls in the head because they want to go to school. I will not side with Muslims in their holy war against Christians. That's what obama has done. obama has chosen Muslims, exactly as he said he would do when he wrote In “Audacity of Hope” he writes: “I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.” The quote comes from page 261 of “The Audacity of Hope..
Obamás chickens are coming home to roost!
We don’t have any Administration , We have a House of Clowns! Obama, Biden, Kerry, Reid, Pelosi . . . it’s pathetic!

The popular refrain on the left is, “If you tell a lie often enough, it becomes the truth.” In John Kerry’s case, even he believes his own lies, beginning with his testimony before congress in 1971. So the question is not whether Kerry is lying, the question is when has he ever stopped lying. He is a self-aggrandizing imbecile, a narcissist of the first rank, and I say that he is not a trustworthy public servant. John Kerry has a serious personality disorder: the lacks the capacity for integrity.

Putin presents actual physical evidence from the scene while our Dear Leader in Washington just expects us to believe the Likes of Obama , McCain and Kerry . GO DRAW MORE RED LINES SAND OBAMA! RHATS ABOUT ALL YOU ARE GOOD FOR!
I watched Kerry answering questions and was convinced that he was lying much of the time. Watch his body language and note the times he looks down, this tells a lot about how comfortable they are with what they're telling. Some of them look like a bug on a pin, very uncomfortable with what they've been told to say. Kerry is so desperate for attention and glory he will say anything.
It’s a sad day when Americans believe Russia over their own country! you can fool some of the people some of the time but you can't fool all the people all of the time! Sorry prez...your lies are catching up with you! These are the people you want America to go to war for? To shed more American blood and fortune we don't even have?
It is getting harder and harder for the RATS to hide,Lying and Spying on the people that put them in power, Now their lying to world Leaders. And the sad thing is that the lefties/progressives or whatever, are buying that crap.
Putin is more believable than John Kerry and Obama.. Sad, but true.

The Obama economy is stagnant so maybe another war will move it along...

John Kerry is a disgustingly stereotypical gasbag politician. He is a liar, and a phony, and a political whore who is saying whatever it takes to sell us on getting involved in Syria. And as Congress considers Obama's obsession for military strikes on Syria, the details of that plan continue to change by the day, now it seems as if he’s looking for a 45 day warning for Syria to “come clean” or else! Or else what? Another 45 days? Or perhaps another “red line” This idiot is losing any bit of credibility that he may have had left. We all knew(at least 50 percent of us knew) from the beginning that Obama never had the background or qualifications to be President and was solely elected on a fluke solely based on his being Black.
It looks very much like Obama is going to lose his bid with Congress for approval of a Syrian attack. The votes in favor are few, far too few to grant approval.
Putin is standing up for our values of truth and freedom like a true champion and I wish he were our nation’s leader instead of that sorry bag of scum, Obama. Obama is a nation destroyer, Putin is a nation builder. He really is, he’s brought Russia back out of poverty since the Soviet Union collapsed, rebuilt it and has made it a powerhouse once again.

Now he’s standing firm against the attack, by our scumbag, on world freedom. Exactly as I expected and predicted, he’s openly declared that if Obama goes ahead with an attack on Syria without UN approval, Russia will militarily intervene.
The Egotistical Sociopath won’t get UN approval because both Russia and China have veto power and they will veto action against Syria. Between Russia’s threats and the UN veto, France will back out, leaving the U.S. to not only go it alone against Syria militarily but also against Russia and Iran, since Iran absolutely will also engage us. The numbskulls who voted in this man should hang their heads in shame.
What I really want to know is where are all those numb-nuts, the anti-war protesters for this impending invasion of Syria? Ten years ago when it was a republican President demanding war, the liberals were marching by the millions. You were able to see those unwashed dirty sicko flower children with the holes in their pants and the long greasy hair holding up those anti Bush signs all over the place. Now they say it's ok and just peachy when their God Obama destroys a nation that never did anything to us.

The MIDDLE EAST?

The entire region is not worth the powder it would take to blow it to hell.

For every dead Middle Easterner the world is just that much safer and saner.

The MIDDLE EAST is a MINEFIELD

Stay the hell away from it, unless you're eager to get blinded or become a paraplegic or quadriplegic -- or a bibbling lunatic for the rest of your life.

It's too bad we can't FILL IN THE SUEZ CANAL, and it's CRIMINAL that we are not doing everything possible to exploit the abundant sources of fossil fuels we have right here on and around the NORTH AMERICAN CONTINENT.

Our focus is all wrong. Our policies are wasteful, destructive to our own best economic interests and a betrayal of our young men in uniform. [The women I don't care about so much, because females don't belong in the military anyway. Their presence in war zones is unnecessary and illegitimate.]

The classic definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again hoping each time to get a different result. Getting ourselves embroiled in yet-another Middle-East Military "Adventure" would prove conclusively that as a nation as have lost our mind completely.

And Z, I don't want to be rude, but could please tell me ONE THING yo could possibly LIKE or RESPECT about John McCain?

I'm ashamed to say I voted for him in 2008, but only out of a sense of desperation. I would never vote for him again, even if he were running against Satan, himself.

He's a whining, waffling, mealy-mouthed, two-faced hypocrite with a temperament as stable as mercury. A DISGUSTING person.

FT...I like McCAIN? Where'd I even hint at that?

I have NEVER admired or respected that man beyond is Vietnam behavior; I don't care how people slam him for things about that ("he was posturing just for attention", etc.)..he did HARD TIME and THAT I respect.
Beyond that, I know some people disagree with me, and THAT is FINE, but I do not look at military service to be a 'get out of jail free' ticket.

No, FT...I don't know where you got that impression, but I'm no McCain fan. Never have been.

Also, FT....I know the ME is a tough place and MANY of the people are not people we want to befriend, to say the least, but there are a LOT of very good Middle Easterners. Wonderful people.

Here's a controversial new motto to contemplate:

"A PEOPLE ARE ONLY AS GOOD AS THE QUALITY OF THE GOVERNMENT THEY ARE WILLING TO ENDURE WITHOUT REBELLING."

That means we -- as a people -- are very far gone.

The most forgotten -- or overlooked -- phrase in our Founding Documents:

" ... the right of the people to alter or abolish it. ..."

As a people we've lost our focus, and we no longer have the "guts" to make even an attempt to do right by ourselves.

The Evil Geniuses who control us through the Public Education, News, Information and Entertainment Conglomerate have succeeded in making sure we constantly fight EACH OTHER instead of our REAL enemies -- i.e. the intellectual aggressors and tyrannical ideological fanatics we've been "conditioned" to ACCEPT as The New Normal.

FreeThinke said...

Ducky,

I've never been an admirer of Hunter Thompson, because I couldn't admire the way he chose to live his life, BUT he was right in the money with that quotation you shared.

It ties in to things I've been saying about "The Oligarchs' for years. No one pays any attention, of course.

The Evil Ones count on conquering by exacerbating partisan divisions, stirring up and aggravating regional tensions -- often arming both sides.

As long as The Oligarchs can keep us at each other's throats squabbling over semantics, statistics, essentially meaningless details, parochial concerns and petty side issues, their power can only increase.

The Oligarchs, as I call them for want of a better term, are like The Devil in this regard. Their greatest accomplishment -- despite being right out in the open for over a century -- has been convince a large majority that their existence is a myth -- a lie -- a fabrication of old wives, ladies who lunch, and malcontents.

Proof positive that the liberal left will sell out the country to stay politically correct. Rather sad and very pathetic
In 2003, ahead of a U.S. attack on Iraq, a robust anti-war movement in Hollywood included a TV commercial starring Martin Sheen and Sean Penn visiting Baghdad. There were online petitions signed by ED ASNER; letters to President George W. Bush pleading for peace were signed by Matt Damon, Tim Robbins, Barbra Streisand and Alec Baldwin; former M*A*S*H star Mike Farrell fronted multiple press conferences where celebrities denounced war. In interviews, Janeane Garofalo stopped identifying herself as an actor -- she preferred to be called a member of the U.S. anti-war movement. Insanity. Irrational. But not surprising after all Liberals/Progressives are completely whacked our of their minds. .

OKAY....SO WHAT HE'S SAYING IS THAT WHAT WE SHOULD DO IS JUST ACQUIESCE TO EVERY THREAT. NONSENSE ABOUT EACH ENEMY BEING 'MYSTERIOUS'.
WE SHOULD HAVE LET THEM KILL EVERY SINGLE JEW IN POLAND, TOO. WHY NOT?
ANYTHING TO STAY OUT OF WAR.
MAKE NO MISTAKE ABOUT IT, MR THOMPSON, THERE ARE BAD PEOPLE IN THIS WORLD AND NOBODY LIKES BEING AT WAR BUT SOME PEOPLE THINK THERE ARE THINGS WORTH GOING TO WAR FOR.
AND, THE SAD THING IS WE HAVE NO CRYSTAL BALLS, MR. THOMPSON...NOBODY KNOWS WHO'S GOING TO WIN A WAR; THAT'S WHY IT'S CALLED 'WAR'.

Is it worse if I kill you because I don't like your color, or if I call you a racial slang term \ than if I kill you to steal your money.

Precisely, PC and "sanity" are not congurent. Sanity pertains to rational thinking. PC pertains to 'feel good' thinking. Often times the two concepts are analogous to the 'oil and water'example.
