Agree or Disagree?

This was written by a 21 yr old female who gets it.  It's her future she's worried about and this is how she feels about the social welfare big government state that she's being forced to live in!  These solutions are just common sense in her opinion.

This was in the Waco Tribune Herald, Waco, TX, Nov 18, 2011
PUT ME IN CHARGE . . .
Put me in charge of food stamps. I'd get rid of Lone Star cards; no cash for Ding Dongs or Ho Ho's, just money for 50-pound bags of rice and beans, blocks of cheese and all the powdered milk you can haul away. If you want steak and frozen pizza, then get a job.
Put me in charge of Medicaid. The first thing I'd do is to get women Norplant birth control implants or tubal legations. Then, we'll test recipients for drugs, alcohol, and nicotine. If you want to reproduce or use drugs, alcohol, or smoke, then get a job.
Put me in charge of government housing.  Ever live in a military barracks?
You will maintain our property in a clean and good state of repair. Your home" will be subject to inspections anytime and possessions will be inventoried.  If you want a plasma TV or Xbox 360, then get a job and your own place.
In addition, you will either present a check stub from a job each week or you will report to a "government" job.  It may be cleaning the roadways of trash, painting and repairing public housing, whatever we find for you.
We will sell your 22 inch rims and low profile tires and your blasting stereo and speakers and put that money toward the "common good.."
Before you write that I've violated someone's rights, realize that all of the above is voluntary.  If you want our money, accept our rules.
Before you say that this would be "demeaning" and ruin their "self-esteem," consider that it wasn't that long ago that taking someone else's money for doing absolutely nothing was demeaning and lowered self-esteem.
If we are expected to pay for other people's mistakes we should at least attempt to make them learn from their bad choices.  The current system rewards them for continuing to make bad choices.
AND While you are on Gov't subsistence, you no longer can VOTE!  Yes, that is correct.  For you to vote would be a conflict of interest.
You will voluntarily remove yourself from voting while you are receiving a Gov't welfare check.  If you want to vote, then get a job.

If you agree...........why?   If you disagree.........why?

I absolutely agree with her. Because it will root out those that are just lazy and taking advantage of the government, while those who sincerely need the help will adhere to the rules.

What a smart young woman.

To Miss Waco:

Let me summarize the political problem this way:
1. Mitt Romney is worth $250 million.
2. He got rich by laying off American workers.
3. He pays a lower tax rate than you and the rest of the middle class.
4. He wants to be president so he can keep it this way.

Now keep blaming the poor. You're next.

Leticia, I thought so, too.

To Ducky:
you never stop astonishing me

Agree, because we are rewarding bad behavior and punishing good behavior at the same time (productive tax payers)

-When you want more of something you reward it. This is all anyone needs to know about situations like this.

Duck, I read your comment by accident. You have to be a put on. No one is that stupid. Or let me guess - you don't pay taxes either.

Mitt Romney is worth 250 million?

Nana "we need to get off fossil fuels and use natural gas" "We must pass the HC bill so we can know what's in it (a bill that takes over 1/6th of the US economy)" Pelosi is worth 450 million. Most of that stolen from moron liberal voters such as yourself.

I swear when I was young there simply were not people around Anywhere who were this stupid. Now they're everywhere. I'm serious.

Duck, Gee, Sorry, it occurs to me you probably don't understand what I'm saying. Sorry, I get a little quick sometimes and over-estimate people's capacity for reading and comprehension.

So, I'll add a little more.

Mitt Romney, who I have no positive feelings for because I regard him as a sock puppet, actually did contribute something to society generally speaking. He did create jobs, and terminate diseased business ventures, which ultimately puts positive people on a more profitable and stable employment path.
As a manager myself in prior years, I felt it a strong obligation to see to it that that people working for me in an incompetent manner be advised of such and fired by me, with a hearty recommendation to go find a career path that they love and have some chance at success at. With me so far?

Nana Pelosi on the other hand simply entered politics because that's what her daddy did, after gaining an unspecified degree at Trinity college in the early 1960's - see her website, and proceeded, with her husband, the fleece the American taxpayer to the tune of 450 million in today's net amount terms. Also see "$100,000 bar bill" racked up for pelosi's private plane to shuttle her between SanFran and DC for a year.

Finally, if you truly aspire to be a Jedi, write this on an affirmative action blackboard somewhere until you understand it, but no less than 100 times - "If you want more of something - LIKE POVERTY - Then Reward it"

And get back to us afterwards and give s an update K?

"Norplant birth control implants or tubal legations."

Isn't that voluntary sterilization? I'm all for it once you have more than 2 children while on welfare. What makes these people think that they have a "right" to produce as many dependents as they want...while I . We...have to pay for them? While we pay for the tragedies that these "families' produce in future dependents, crime and the continuance of generations of dependents?

WOW Duckbutt, your ignorance is astounding.

How do you know how much taxes he pays? How do you know what he earns? There are some estimates they are just that, estimates. Like a lot of folks with money a lot of estimates are inflated.

Now go back to the basement of your government subsidized apartment.

did you all hear Gingrich slam Juan Williams down in the debates tonight? WOW.
I don't admire Gingrich for some reasons, but when he tells it just like it is to liberals, I shout HURRAH! It's so refreshing.
Romney could use a little of that feistiness..

Impertinent, this is my hottest button. Paying for child abuse.

People have been testifying to me for a decade or so, and I know it is true and very widespread that: Many women choose constant pregnancy and the government money it brings as a career in today's society.

I was in Detroit over Christmas about 6 years ago. They had a "Heart Warming story of a woman who was living in a Buick with 9 kids and some sucker bought her a $250k house for her and the kids to live in.
She had been living in an apartment with 8 kids and got kicked out.

Scene 1 -
She's on WIC, getting government checks for 8 kids and can't maintain a section 8 apartment.
Scene 2 -
She's living in a Buick with 8 kids for two years.
Scene 3 -
She's still in the Buick and now has 9 kids. She got Pregnant living in a Buick with 8 kids and government checks !!
Scene 4 -
It's a heart warming story that someone bought her and the kids a $250k house in Detroit (that surely she no longer resides in)
True.
She should have been Locked Up for Child Abuse. And all like her.

We're paying for child abuse. We're actually Paying for child abuse.

But generally speaking - yea, we pay these women to pop kids out like pieces of toast into zero opportunity, crime and drug infested environments.

Up is down baby, Down is up.

Ticker...ask the douche how much his homey Kerry is worth.....without ever having held a GD job since 1972?

Notice how libs get rich after entering government? While guys like ROMNEY do it..BEFORE they enter government?

See...we all think sterilization or fixing a cows uterus...is just so...ummmmm....Icky,you know? I'd give each one of them 50K to get them fixed. Of course these things are reversible today just like a vasectomy ( another idea for the swinging dicks that do this for a "living". ). And maybe...maybe if they can demonstrate responsibility....they can raise their own kids....like90% of us do...we'll think about a reversal.

But...NOOOOOOOOO.....we can't do that. BS...you take my money...to be an ignorant cow....you don't vote...you don't get candy...you don't get any more. Period.

Tonight, Santorum told a story about Obama's telling different groups which support young teens to not push abstinence and to never advocate marriage as a choice for them. I don't remember the details because I"m not paying that close attention to the debate, but somebody will here...please fill us in.
It was disheartening.
And we wonder why our kids are lost and our economy's suffering.
The stats show that not getting pregnant first, going to school, and marrying, bring poverty down in huge numbers.
WHY can't we try to teach kids higher callings than letting them think what they see and hear on TV and film and society in general is GOOD for them?

1.) Yes, let's just shut off the government checks and problem solved. though not ideal - better.
2.) 250K house was well before the housing bubble burst. Yea, probably 100k now or less.

That's it for me...on the twitter peter meter.....Newt stole the show with the most honest direct answers...especially about education reform.

I especially loved it when he spit in Juans smug puss.

Yup...it definitely breaks the never ending cycle, doesn't it?

But....I might say...keep the checks..if you can get your bum arse out of your recliner to sweep the streets....pickup some garbage...do something a community might need when they're hard pressed to pay their bills.

A program for at risk kids (young girls) was the topic of exposing "O"'s people (CZARS)telling the program administers to omit the subjects of abstinence and not to mention marriage as a option to raise a child.

Romney agrees with the Defense Appropriation Act, to arrest us for no reason and hold us indefinitely.
But trust Obama and him and any future Pres. to not use it!

GIVE ME A BREAK.

He has to go.

This not a Banana Dictator Republic yet--oh wait a minute the Bill was signed into law--I guess we have been turned into one after all. If Romney is elected we will continue to be one.

I remember being 21 years old. I understood most everything; except love. I was confused by love. But I had everything else figured out. By age 31 my view of politics had changed some and love was still unclear at times. By the time I was age 41 I thought the my 31 year old’s political values were short sighted and that he would be well served by the hard knocks coming his way. Love was still a struggle. When I was 51 I started to understand that political ideologues are a small minority of Americans; but that I was right all along about love. At age 56 and after 25 years of marriage and having raised two wonderful adult kids I am struck by how many of us are so intractable.

Think about. For most of us, each ten years our lives are almost unrecognizable; education, personal experience, love, kids, job changes, illness, death, and survival stories. Looking back, leaving out my spirituality, I wonder how I could have been so sure.

Mostly good ideas -- except for the part about forced tubal ligation (smacks of eugenics) and voter disenfranchisement. The latter will never fly constitutionally. Hell, there used to be property-ownership requirements for voting, but those went by the wayside too.

BTW, all the proliferating Medicaid fraud is pushing out people who really do need Medicaid. The well is running dry!

THEY SAY...thanks for the info on young girls, that's it.
As for Romney and that other thing, I thought he explained it pretty well.
Our freedoms will be affecting us, sadly. In other words, for ourselves to be truly free, we will have to know there are people next door planning dirty bombs and not getting detained...scary stuff. I don't see a solution but getting bombed, frankly.

Kid...I posted it because it's so rare for young people to have a point of view so different than the one they learn in the media and our schools. Lovely stuff.
Maybe she's wrong in love :-) but she sure loves this country, and independence, and thinking for herself.
If all kids were this intractable (except I'd call it courageous instead), we'd be a lot better off in America, don't you think?

ALways, to have people who won't work and live on the dole voting in the people who support them is almost humorous to the core.

I agree about almost everything in this column. I wouldn't force sterilization or birth control, I'd just stop paying the poor for having kids out of wedlock.

Furthermore, if these parents aren't able to care for their children, I'd take the children away and place them with families that can care for them.

I WOULD NOT REWARD THE MOTHERS AND FATHERS OF THESE POOR KIDS BY PAYING THEM FOR HAVING KIDS THEY CANNOT AFFORD!

Think about how stupid we are for doing this! It's absolutely idiotic.

There was a time when only landowners could vote. I like the idea of voting based on your worth or lack thereof. No one should have the power to confiscate the productivity of working men and women for the purpose of giving it to those who refuse to work. We're rewarding laziness, which used to be shamed.

Not that this matters, the message of the column is excellent, but:

FYI, this column was published at the Veterans' Voice over a year ago, attributed to author Alfred W. Evans of Gatesville, TX.

Elaine Bennet (Bill Bennets wife) has a program called Best Friends to support children at risk (primarily girls) and Bill has said that she was instructed she could no longer promote abstinence or marriage, by the administration.
Must be accepting some guv funding.

Z, Yes, she makes so much sense it made my day. I'll tell you I don't know what the formula is. I have two nieces in their mid 20's from my brother. A year apart, same school, same college, married to great guys, one voted for obama one didn't. Got me.

I have met other young people that know what's going on, just not enough.

So, arresting a guy for saying he is broke and needs money; before he could think about robbing a bank is the way to put our liberties on hold?
We will never be able to stop the plain to cause car wrecks for insurance scams until after it is a clear act. We can not give up liberties for the jihad next door.
Rick Santorum said that very thing last night about saving gun manufacturers; said, he voted for gun laws to suppress our rights in order to keep the manufacturers from being sued out of business.
Both Santorum and Romney outed themselves as RHINOS last night!
