Gov Brewer and Mr. Obama; Can't you just hear it?

MESA, Ariz. (AP) — Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer came to greet President Barack Obama upon his arrival outside Phoenix Wednesday. What she got was a critique. Of her book.
The two leaders could be seen engaged in an intense conversation at the base of Air Force One's steps. Both could be seen smiling, but speaking at the same time.
Asked moments later what the conversation was about, Brewer, a Republican, said: "He was a little disturbed about my book."
Brewer recently published a book, "Scorpions for Breakfast," something of a memoir of her years growing up and defends her signing of Arizona's controversial law cracking down on illegal immigrants, which Obama opposes.
Obama was objecting to Brewer's description of a meeting he and Brewer had at the White House, where she described Obama as lecturing her. In an interview in November Brewer described two tense meetings. The first took place before his commencement address at Arizona State University. "He did blow me off at ASU," she said in the television interview in November.
She also described meeting the president at the White House in 2010 to talk about immigration. "I felt a little bit like I was being lectured to, and I was a little kid in a classroom, if you will, and he was this wise professor and I was this little kid, and this little kid knows what the problem is and I felt minimized to say the least."
On the tarmac Wednesday, Brewer handed Obama an envelope with a handwritten invitation to return to Arizona to meet her for lunch and to join her for a visit to the border.
"I said to him, you know, I have always respected the office of the president and that the book is what the book is," she told reporters Wednesday. She said Obama complained that she described him as not treating her cordially.
"I said that I was sorry that he felt that way. Anyway, we're glad he's here, and we'll regroup."
A White House official said Brewer handed Obama a letter and said she was inviting him to meet with her. The official said Obama told her he would be glad to meet with her again. The official said Obama did note that after their last meeting, which the official described as a cordial discussion in the Oval Office, the governor inaccurately described the meeting in her book. The official spoke on condition of anonymity to describe a private conversation between the president and the governor.   end of article.

Z:  SO the White House official says Obama says Gov Brewer is wrong.    So, that's that?   Has any of you seen Gov Brewer in any of the interviews she's given on television over the last couple of years where she's been so frustrated with getting no attention, with being fought at the White House for trying to close the borders, by not getting Obama to come look at the situation in person, at the border?   Think she gave an accurate description of the meeting at the White House?  She adds that the president walked away from their encounter on the tarmac instead of finishing their conversation.

So, this is a he said/she said deal. It would be interesting to have a national poll to see which person the public believes.

Everybody knows that the President is suing Arizona. Everybody knows that he has been ignoring border problems. The President doesn't hesitate to lie.

Who has the history of lying? That's how I decide these things. Sorry Mr. President...

Obama lie? Never.
"Warren Buffets' Secretary pays more in taxes than he does."

And on top of all that he has the nerve for his own criminal justice dept to sue Arizona. He let's a foreign country sue one of our states? Talk about audacity.

Sorry Obummer but maybe you should have tried to have a real job to be prepared, preferably a Governor, to see how the real world operates.

I guess his on the job training didn't teach him enough on how to deal with the real world.

Can he be more despicable than Jimmah Carter? He's trying hard isn't he.

Maybe he's petrified that Brewer might show him one of the AK's he allowed to cross the border too.

Brewer is an old barfly needs to shut her trap and stop trying to make a profit off of jailing brown people in her private crony owned prisons.

Bush was never subjected to the level of racist and disrespectful rhetoric by so many including other politicians. And Obama has to take it graciously or the sleaze merchants at Fox News will start with the 'angry black man' crap again.

Thankfully, Obama just walked away from this corrupt idiot.

Are you 16? Not around when Bush was president? That explains a lot. thanks.

Z, yea, they pounded on GWBush with Sledgehammers for 7+ years, politicians and the Democrat media.

Lib is either a put on or he/she is too stupid to even be alive, which means productive tax payers are footing the bill for this person's existence.
Isn't that special.

Kid, imagine someone saying Bush got less criticism than Bush? I mean, it's like someone's been hiding under a rock for the last ten years.

Bush-Hitler
Bush-Drunk
BUsh-WRONG
Bush-too Christian
Bush-...etc etc... and worse!

amazing

Z, no possible criticism went untouched with GWB.

Couple thoughts:
-Bush turned out Very Liberal. He grew the government massively with DHS and TSA (and degraded life in America) and spent a massive amount of money.

- Everything they accused GWB of seems to be everything the current administration is guilty of. Hitler, Most corrupt administration, etc. This was intentional. They knew that the liberal dim bulb brains would immediately dismiss such claims as 'Oh, this is what Bush was and now you're accusing oblabber of it, how lame".

I don't know how they did it between 04 and 08, but the dems got Extremely talented at this propaganda game.

Libmann..I don't know of anyone who has been treated more fairly than Obama, even when he deserved the harshest criticism.

It seems that he can treat people as rudely as possible, but gets offended if he even perceives that anyone has been critical of him.

What about when he left the Israeli Prime Minister waiting while he went to have dinner with Michelle and the kids? That wasn't exactly a "barfly" he was treatng so shabbily, now was it?

http://www.newsrealblog.com/2010/03/26/obama-snubbed-netanyahu-to-have-dinner-with-michelle-and-the-kids/

The photo of him displayed in the article pretty much demonstrates his attitude, and character.

If Bush had done that, I hate to think what would have happened when the media was done with it.

Your calling Governor Brewer a barfly was not only more disrespectful than anything she might have said against the president, it was pretty childish, as well.

You need to try reading, and watching, something other than liberal articles, and television.

You might learn something.

Jan the Libturd will never learn anything as he is left wired and unable to comprehend facts unless they have been twisted to fit into the left wired brain.
His comments are so ridiculous that I actually get a good laugh at just how ignorant some folks can be.
When he grows up he might have the ability to change but it will be difficult after being so inebriated on the leftist koolaide for so long. It damaged what little mind he may have had.
So laugh and enjoy the ranting of a leftist dingo (that is a male dingy or dingbat)
I honestly don't know where he comes up with this BS. but he definitely has sources that are as ignorant as he. Even moveondotidiot is not as ignorant as he is so who knows.

No fellow politician treated Bush in the way they have treated Obama. No one yelled, like at the SOTU address in 2010 or have a Supreme Court Justice say 'that's not true,' did when Obama was complaining about their decision to allow corporations unfettered access to our democracy with political donations. And it turns out he was right.

You don't remember the Governor who posted emails about 'niggers?' How about the Legislator who send Christmas postcards of the White House with a watermelon patch in front? How about the cartoon with the Obama's portrayed as a monkey sent by a State Senator?

The level of hatred thrown at Obama far surpasses anything Bush got, and Obama was actually elected, lol!

lib...you don't think

Liberalmann said...

Yeah, nice response to the facts.

Frankly Lib, since the media was fully counted on to attack GWB on a regular basis, Dems could sit back and figure they did not have to raise their voice.
Conservatives know that will not happen when Obama speaks, ergo the temptation to call him out.
Of course, there is no excuse for the watermelon or monkey stuff, or racial epithets.
But one has to wonder if there was unreported similar suff referring to the honkey, ofay GBW by certain members of a certain caucus.

Apparently libdude forgets the Bush lied people died meme or the calls for impeachment by Congressional Democrats or the charges of being a traitor by Gore, Reid and Pelosi...I could go on.

Oh BTW the charge Joe made about Obama being a liar was true. As you recall it had to do with illegals receiving Obamacare

The reason is because no other President has lied so much during a SOTU address. You can get a copy, and document it yourself. Obama is absolutely shameless, and probably amoral.

In -2005??; You all remember a certain storm called Katrina???

Well, according to some people ; George W. Bush actually got a storm machine and with some sort of aid made levees unsafe and deliberately orchastrated the most incredible devastation known to mankind because he was out to get people of color.
Yep, he had Dick Cheney and Karl Rove downstairs at the whitehouse wrecking havoc at poor old New Orleans.

Now seriously, that was said, spouted and hurled daily. It was even made into a documentary, I think.

He was mocked for his accent when he spoke, too, and this was all just great sport for some.
SO please, spare me this ludicrous narrative that no president has had to put up with so much oppostition, etc. as President Obama.

I dare say all presidents have their share of name calling .

Any one who gets into public life has that .
