I just read a staggering report this morning, that 128 million Americans are now on entitlement government programs, and with Obama's continuance to spend, spend, and spend, we are all doomed! Robbing Peters to pay Paul just don't work.
It seems as if the cancer of Socialism is alive and well in America.
A beautiful photograph, Z!
It's often hard to capture a good picture of a rainbow.
Beautiful picture. He did capture it beautifully.
Z - Wow! Ms. Z sure knows how to get the beautiful, amazing pictures.
You have a great Wednesday too.
I'll be posting some more soon...she sent amazing pictures from Patagonia. most of it seems very dry and uninteresting but she says Patagonia is known for incredible beauty....
thanks, everybody.
Political Chic; it sure does.
¡Igualmente!
World is so crazy these days it's good to be reminded to look up once in a while.
I'm fascinated by the 1T coin proposal. Interesting idea but proof we are really down the rabbit hole.
I had a dream:
Geithner: Well, there it is Ben. The 1 trillion dollar coin. Isn't it a beauty?
Bernanke: It sure is. Let's go over to Barack's crib and show him.
Geithner: Sure thing, can I buy you a soda?
Bernake: Sure, that would be refreshing after the negotiations.
later...
Bernanke: Tim, show Mr. President the coin.
Bernanke: Tim, Tim, where's the coin?
Beautiful photo. Thanks!
BTW, did you feature, a couple of weeks ago, a video by Bill Whittle about Conservatism?
BZ
Beautiful picture. It makes me think of summer time at the beach.
Happy trails, Z. Keep us up on your Hollywood celebrity trips.
Wanna buy a trillion dollar Platinum coin? Only a fool would pay more than the value that comes from the platinum content itself.
No more than taking a dollar that's worth less than the paper it's printed on, eh?
Z, It's a Beautiful Morning
Enjoy.
You'd be down with the coin, Farmer, if they put Ronnie Raygun's profile on it.
THE RAINBOW CONNECTION
Why are there so many
Songs about rainbows
And what's on the other side
Rainbow's are visions
They're only illusions
And rainbows have nothing to hide
So we've been told and some chose to
Believe it
But I know they're wrong wait and see
Someday we'll find it
The Rainbow Connection
The lovers, the dreamers and me
Who said that every wish
Would be heard and answered
When wished on the morning star
Somebody thought of that
And someone believed it
And look what it's done so far
What's so amazing
That keeps us star gazing
What so we think we might see
Someday we'll find it
That Rainbow Connection
The lovers the dreamers and me
Have you been half asleep
And have you heard voices
I've heard them calling my name
Are these the sweet sounds that called
The young sailors
I think they're one and the same
I've heard it too many times to ignore it
There's something that I'm supposed to be
Someday we'll find it
The Rainbow Connection
The lovers, the dreamers and me.
Your beautiful picture reminded me of that wistful little song -- something I hadn't thought of in more than twenty years.
Does anyone now who wrote it?
THANKS!
~ FT
@FT
Paul Williams and Kenneth Ascher wrote it. First performed by Kermit the Frog of course.
Bob, I think I did...I do feature Bill from time to time.
Kid, I LOVE THAT SONG...TOTALLY LOVE IT.
Ed, it's MS Z's trip, not Z's trip! (Ms Z being my stepdaughter!)
No big HOllywood trips for me anymore! Not for a while, anyway.
Ducky, that 1T coin...I hadn't heard that; it's really a perfect example/metaphor for the nightmare we're in.
by the way, I'll go ahead and mention it was Z's birthday today!
And so the rainbow meant a lot and so do the comments of my wonderful blogger friends.
Had a fantastic day and have more to come.
God bless you all!
Happy Birthday - Z. You deserve to have a good one!
Sue, thanks. It was a marvelous one, and more fun to come these next few days! Just GREAT.
Thank you.
You're welcome - Z.
