Z - The white tulips remind me of the Kukanhof Gardens (sp) in Holland. Fields of different colors of tulips. White ones are nice.

You have a great Sunday - too.

Beautiful day here. I've been digging up the overabundent daffodils. Trying to pawn them off on neighbors. Only wish my tulips would would multiply.

This picture epitomizes my emphasis after reading The Life You've Always Wanted this week. The balanced heart that wakes up thinking 'how would Jesus see this moment?" and so on through the day. The sun shining down on His handiwork, and gratitude He's given it to us to enjoy in so many ways, big and small. Have a blessed day.

@ED:

And Holland once went bankrupt over them.

I never saw tulips in Holland; sure would have liked to. I LOVE tulips.

Rita,. IS there such a thing as an overabundance of daffodils? Now THERE is a GORGEOUS flower! my mother's fave.

Baysider...that sounds wonderful. It's an important thing to remember, what Jesus sees this moment, but not only in the beautiful, happy times, but the REALLY HARD times. That's what I'm learning now. I'll probably never stop learning that, but that's okay.

Imp...just bought myself some red tulips! My favorite is the yellow striped with red because I got them so much in Paris.
Flowers were so cheap there.
We had a florist downstairs who used to come up to see my tables when I'd decorated them for dinner parties, and he'd come to see my Christmas tree. I loved the reactions!

It's a beautiful day in Atlanta, and one of the warmest, yet. The high today will b 86 degrees, coming out of a few weeks of sixties and seventies for highs.

Tulips remind me of the Dutch Tulip Mania http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tulip_mania

I wonder what the Dutch pay for their tulips, today.

Z, Rita, yea, I'll take the daffodils.

IMP, There was a great stock market bubble and crash caused by tulip bulbs.

Think of the tulips in the field. They don't work, or spin cloth, yet our Father in heaven has clothed no one else more beautifully than they.
