Part of the new HEALTH BILL you might want to read....

ARE WE INSANE?
Page 25 of the HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVE'S "BILL to provide affordable, quality health care for all Americans and reduce the growth in health care spending, and for other purposes." (the 'other purposes' made me nervous, does it you?) READ ON, my friends:

(2) INSUFFICIENT FUNDS.—If the Secretary estimates for any fiscal year that the aggregate amounts available for payment of expenses of the high-risk pool will be less than the amount of the expenses, the Secretary shall make such adjustments as are necessary to eliminate such deficit, including reducing benefits, increasing premiums, or establishing waiting lists.

Pris's son found this little ditty in the latest House of Rep's bill...........how much MORE is in there we're not seeing?

Wait......INCREASING premiums? REDUCING BENEFITS? WAITING LISTS?.....at 'the secretary's' discretion? And how hard did the leftwingers insist that there will be no RATIONING? Um..............

thanks, Pris and Pris, Jr...............this is insane and WE HAVE TO FIGHT HARDER!

SEND THIS TO YOUR FRIENDS!!

Nice find!

That's why they don't want to have any sessions public or people to be able to read it.

the only thing I'm surprised about is that it's in plain English

Really the only thing anybody needs to know that should keep any sane person from wanting this is that our government will control it.

FrogBurger said...

And again, what will it do down the road?

Only the rich will be able to get private care that is good quality. It will lead to higher cost for higher quality medicine.

I keep screaming my lungs out that socialism actually creates more stable inequalities.

I just want to punch those rich Democrats in the face!

So when do we have the bumper stickers made?

I'm finally working my way through Atlas Shrugged. There's a chapter where a bum on a train car explains the collectivization of a company. Everyone favored collectiviation because everyone thought, no matter how well off he was, he'd be getting something for free. Seems applicable.

"It will be of little avail to the people that the laws are made by men of their own choice if the laws be so voluminous that they cannot be read, or so incoherent that they cannot be understood, if they be repealed or revised before they are promulgated, or undergo such incessant changes that no man, who knows what the law is today, can guess what it will be like tomorrow." – James Madison, Federalist Paper #62

Just a little further down the road to socialized health care.

And what happens when 33% momre users (the gov't scare number) get "access" to doctors, equipment and facilities they didn't use yesterday? Rationing, natch. Unless they plan to add 33% more docs, buildings, and equipment to the nation's stock overnight.

Now, I don't believe that fairy tale number for a nano sec. But I've seen people abuse "free" services and clog up the system for others who really need it. I can't imagine what adding even 5% of such folks in one broad sweep will do.

The bill (or is it the Senat version - not sure which) also levies a tax on medical devices. The makers are typically low cap firms. One owner calculated the tax would exceed his R&D budget. Woops!

Button down your wallets - I hear a great sucking sound coming from the east ready to vacuum our pockets dry.

Thanks Elbro, for your ability to elicit a chuckle. At least that's free (so far). You never know, even a misdirected chuckle could be a hate crime.

If we were feeling pretty healthy before, reading this bill should make all of us sick. All we have to remember is that 2000 pages are needed for regulations, nothing else.

This bill even without the words "public option", or public anything, it remains government healthcare. The government is all over it, and that's their goal. By hook or by crook!

Yep...just like Canada and Great Britain...even though the Dems & "the one" have stated otherwise.

Hi Z - the page number that this language can be found on is at the bottom of page 25 and continues on to page 26.

Substitute "insurance company executive" fro Secretary and you have z's utopia.

This is starting to get good. Second stimulus is coming and he ain't going to give the generals their way in Afghanistan. Maybe he does have a pair after all.

Z said...

No, Ducky...he's just stupid and loves the world more than America.

Obviously, the 'secretary' part is all about lies, but you apparently still don't get it. But, then, I'll bet you STILL think people of integrity, who work hard and earn good doctors and good insurance will be able to keep their plans! amazing.

I hope you heard his Ryan White/AIDS bill speech...I've never heard anyone make more mistakes in pronunciation or syntax...I'm wondering if he is thinking about what he's reading on the teleprompter anymore; it was astonishing.

Well get ready, z, because Hillary fired a couple of volley's across Pakistan's bow , yesterday.

I think Obama finally gets it and sees that there is absolutely no future trying to deal with the right.

Public option coming because there is no way he is going to stand for that crap Lieberman tried to pull the other day. Smart move Joe, get up and show that the right absolutely cannot be trusted.
Obama didn't realize that until now.

Better get used to loving the world, z ... it's biblical.

Z: I posted this exact same section today. Plus a bit more.

I sure hope Ducky stays well, 'cause he ain't-a-gonna like the health care he gets if this unspeakable piece of trash passes.

I am in the process of reading the whole thing - 1990 pages or so.

I should finish sometime in late 2011...or maybe in about a week.

Yes Ducky...you would certainly know...they're residing well down your throat...now that's a real dedicated..."teabagger". Thank Anderson ( the throat ) Cooper for the tag.

I can't say who it is but a big orthopedic surgeon in my area has said that he can't get the hip replacement joint he prefers using, very preferable for patients' well being, because Medicare won't pay for it anymore.....
He's terribly upset that his patients won't have that best hip joint he's been using but the manufacturer/hospital/Medicare can't come to an agreement anymore..Medicare's digging its heels.

Imagine what Obamacare will be like?
this was a horrible revelation because it's at my local hospital that this particular incident has happened; those were the days when docs could make the correct choice for their patients.

Wake up, America...you're being lied to and you're going to be very, very sorry.

I would have expected this to be couched in more legalese. Good job finding this.

Z,
Here we go. Government at its best. We can't take care of everyone, so let's decide who's left out. Government cannot take care of everyone because government isn't capable of anything but one size fits all. Government is a leviathan.

I hope you are well.

Awesome find. Why isn't anyone talking about this?

Ducky: There is no ONE private insurance overlord with the monopoly on power that the federal government has. Moreover, the press is always ready to jump on stories of abuse in the private sector. Not so with the Federal Government.

I'll take my chances with abuse from the private sector over abuse from the Imperial Federal Government any day.

thanks, Law and Order...I'm doing. That's about all I can say.

RightKlik, your last sentence says it ALL.

Great post, Z.

Where has our momentum gone? Is it that the msm just isn't covering the outrage anymore...like at the townhall meetings?? I guess it had an impact and they had to stop showing the reality, that SO MANY of us don't want this public option, and aren't afraid to say it!

Ha...ducky. Does it bother you at all that thanks to the man YOU voted for, your great grandchildren will be tens of thousands of dollars in debt? Please, spare me the Raygun and Chucklenuts crap excuses. This man is driving this country deeper into debt in his first year than any of us ever imagined.

Increasing premiums???

Ye gods! I can barely afford the premium we're now paying!

You might want to take a look at this.

How odd:

That's called RATIONED HEALTH CARE which the Demorats staunchly STATED would NEVER occur.

It looks like the Demobullies are determined to foist Obamacare on us, even though the vast majority of Americans do not want it, and cannot possibly understand the 2000 page bill in its entirety. Who could? Who does?

But don't blame the D'Rats alone. The Republican Establishment (wishy-washy, lukewarm, weak, and forever compromising with the Devil) wants it too or they'd fight harder and use every trick in the book to defeat it.

The degree of cooperation between the two parties against the Will of the People should have us all marching in the streets, and threatening insurrection, but watching TV and moaning is so much easier.

OFF TOPIC: Here's a Ray of Hope:

Scozzafava Drops Out Of NY-23 Race

The Base Barks: Republican Establishment in Washington, D.C. spent over $900,000.00 to elect Dede Scozzafava, who today abandons the race.

Scozzafava is a RINO whom the so-called Republican Establishment in DC wanted to run for Senator from New York.

The avowedly-conservative candidate, Doug Hoffman, is backed by the true Republicans. Hoffman promises to caucus with the R's if elected.

In a world starved for good news, this may qualify.

Keep the faith -- and please keep sending emails and making phone calls to those fiends in Congress.

Dede...the masked man in a burka...can take off her hood now. She's safe and can kiss Pelosi full on the mouth. We all knew what she was and is.

Proof is in the fact that as a "Republican" she can't find a way to throw her support to a real conservative. A fraud...like so many rinos in the party.

FT - the GOP got a message from the grassroots tea party movement today. Thanks to millions of Americans who want our party back and we want our country back.

The GOP hierarchy better get the message if we are to win next year. This is just the beginning!

The GOP...or Grand Old Party is toast...history. Gone...dust to dust. Over, finished, kaput. GOP...Good Riddance Puitz's.

Time for the new Constitutional Party of Americans that are fed up with the two parties masked as caring for this Republic. The time is ripe for this revolution...the time is now to throw the bums, traitors and liars out. Our founders never foresaw that "elected" representatives would be allowed to live on as the prince and princesses, kings and queens over we, the real Americans as subjects and vassals. Nor should they have ever been allowed to keep office to 50 years.

Ducky,

I think Obama finally gets it...

Man, you're slow.

We've known the guy is a leftist since 2004.

Z said...

Anonymous, anybody who thinks this country has time for a third party to get strong enough to finally beat the Democrat 'country-killers' is scary to me, frankly.

While the leftists are continuing the indoctrination of our kids and the bias of our media, do you really think we have time to lose races via the PEROT NIGHTMARE?

What we need to do is take the Republican party BACK and get back to strict adherence to the constitution, get ACORN out permanently (they're back, I guess you know, that idiotic funding stop lasted only one month but your media isn't telling you that), remind Americans the rich PAY THE BILLS, remind Americans we can't have a debt this big to China as they ramp their military larger and larger, we can't have appeasers in power, we MUST get that missile shield back as it was THE ONLY last power play America had to get ANYWHERE with ANY Problem with Russia and we need to stop apologizing for all the good America's done.

TAKE THE REPUBLICAN PARTY BACK......MAKE it the Constitution Party.

All that has to happen under socialized medicine, it's the only way it'll work. It's been the case everywhere in the world and America will be no exception. Everything the left touch will turn to shit.
