Obama and Arnold....not a good idea, guys

So, Arnold's not polling too well in California, huh? Read THIS! I think the situation is the same with Obama. In America, people are looking at THE ECONOMY, STUPID. And both these guys are off to Copenhagen to take my light bulbs away for good :-)
This doesn't bode well for the Left because it's showing how out of touch and unpopular they and those Republicans who pander to the Left are, but it bodes well for the Republicans....This is a VERY Democrat State and even here, Arnold's approval rating is 27%.

Memo to Republicans: Concentrate on JOBS. "And the winner IS............" I like that.

OH, then there's THIS (sent to me by Heidianne)...News Alert 06:05 AM EDT Thursday, December 17, 2009

U.S. will contribute to a $100B fund to help developing countries cope with climate change

COPENHAGEN -- Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton said Thursday that the United States would contribute to a $100 billion fund to help developing countries cope with climate change. Japan and the European Union have already committed to building such a fund by 2020, and it is considered a critical step in forging a global climate change pact in the U.N.-sponsored talks that conclude Friday. Clinton said U.S. contributions to the fund would be contingent on reaching a substantive
political accord that would include "transparency" in tracking emissions cuts by major developing countries.

WHO IS PAYING FOR THIS?

Arnold is a moron. He should be a Democrat. Sick of those phonies.

FrogBurger..have you had any warm chestnuts from the corner vendor yet?
Arnold's as phony as chestnuts being sold at Hollywood and Vine :-)
do you have a Maison du Chocolate there near you? Mmmmmm Have a CARACAS for me!

Z said...

oops..no 'e' on chocolat....je sais..!!

FrogBurger said...

I havent see a Maison du Chocolat. But if you want some good chocolate, let me know. What do you like the most? Milk chocolate, dark chocolate?
That's the only good thing in France: food, even though I find the restaurants in LA much better.

God, I am pissed to see what France has become. And they want to do the same thing in the US.

FrogBurger said...

And I haven't seen chestnut vendors in Lyon but I've been mostly staying at my mom, working

Z said...

FrogBurger, you are in the city YOU are in and don't think the food is fabulous? Boy, I SURE did love most French food...

FrogBurger said...

There's so much choice in LA that I've had better restaurants there than here. Sad but true. But it's also b/c I find French food too buttery or creamy sometimes. A place like Canele or L.A Taste is great.

Some truth there, z, but remember, the left is abandoning Obama in droves.

That's why his poll numbers are dropping so fast.

Where would the world be without the deliriously ignorant, the mindless twits, and the intellectual defects? How dull it would be. What would we do for entertainment. Thank you, Mr. Ducky, mucho gracias for all the laughs that you have provided sane people over the years.

You go, Duck!

100 billion that we don't have for a cause that doesn't exist. What a world!

Ducky, actually even Bono and Bob Geldof have acknowledged in public the tremendous amount of good Bush has done for Africa over and over again, you just don't hear much of it in the new liberal American press...shameful.
The drone situation sounds worse than the pentagon's letting on, that is FOR sure.

Bubba and Cube...thanks, well said :0-)

Goodie, goodie! I always wanted more of my hard-earned money confiscated for dumb reasons.

What is needed more than anything is an antidote to the leftist lunacy to Obama and the "czars" that seem to have come as part of the package.

I'm not so familiar with some of the political voices there and Lt. Col. Allen West is a new voice that I haven't heard before. But on the basis of this one speech, he's got my attention as being the polar opposite of the current administration. What say you, Z?

waylon, what say ME about Lt Col Allen West...He'd win the presidency TOMORROW if he ran, I really do think so. He is MARVELOUS

In my opinion, it's a noteworthy speech and worth hearing. Definitely a step in the right direction for times like these — I like Lt. Col. West, too.

Z,
This feels like some guy stole my credit card and is using it to buy new clothes to impress his girlfriend. He may be impressing her but he's bankrupting me. Billions here and there. Sheesh.

Excellent analogy, L&O..

The "left," by itself represents roughly 25% of the views of the electorate, and 5% if you only count the leftists that wear their swastikas or hammer-n-sickles proudly. The "left" by itself can't elect anybody. The best they can hope for is exemplifying hardcore imbecility to contrast against the rest of the population.

Obama never had the conservatives and libertarians in his corner, and never will.

He has to appeal to the amorphous 33% of the electorate that consider themselves "centrists" or "moderates" to get his poll numbers back up to be even worth considering for re-election (and given the "affirmative action" of delegates he didn't win in the 2008 nomination race, the DemoKKKrat Party convention in 2012 is gonna be one hell of a cross-burning, especially after Congress flips back to Republican control in 2010)

"America's first Messiah President" was a shark jumping appeal the first time around.

As long as "racist" means "someone that is winning a debate with liberals," Obama's chances of appealing to moderates and winning re-election lay somewhere between a snowball in Hell and Helen Thomas being asked to pose nude in Playboy magazine.

Considering the state of our economy, why the hell is the United States giving a foreign nation anything at all? Grrr.....

So, a ruler like Mugabe, who when he took over, led a country, Zimbabwe, which was called "the jewel of the Nile" due to it's agricultural superiority, has destroyed the jewel.

He is in line to receive his share of the big bucks.

Zimbabwe was considered the breadbasket of Africa. No more, not for some time now. The farmers have been driven out and some murdered, and their land left to dust. Mainly because they were white.

This is but one rat hole that our money will go down. Nothing will change in these poor countries, nor will anything be accomplished concerning the "green" agenda.

This global fund is about redistributing the wealth of successful countries, the US being the main target. It's about lowering our standard of living and punishing excellence, and all that comes with it.

How dare we enjoy our advances and productivity, while other countries languish in mediocrity, and some in outright depravation, without any signs of effort to enjoy the same freedoms and promotion of the meritous rewards of hard work and democracy.

Many are so rooted in primitive cultures with no seeming desire to change. Money will not accomplish that change. Their dictatorial leaders will use whatever monetary gains they receive to build armies, or palaces, or whatever the hell they want.

This is about power of a few on an international level. It's also about the few gaining wealth beyond their wildest dreams, all because of the hoax called "climate change". Nothing more. It's about punishing success, and rewarding corruption.

Oh, and one more thing. We're supposed to feel guilty, and thereby willing to pay.

More and more, every day, I am thinking the ONLY way this country will truly understand ANYthing about its budget is when it finally has NO money and the entire nation is on fire.

And even then, those pols in place will ask themselves: "I don't get it. What happened?"
