Gloria Allred pulled a fast one.............

Meg Whitman settled for $5,500.00 with her housekeeper, the one who probably lost her the election when Governor Brown's fan, Attorney Gloria Allred, brought out that, a YEAR AGO, the housekeeper was let go for having lied that she was legal to the Whitman family.

$5,500.00.  Gloria makes about $2,000 on that, so it's hard to tell why either of the women in the picture to the left are looking quite so happy (could there be monies both got we don't know about?), probably 1/100th of what she generally gets per case.   Any more evidence needed that this was a set-up about the election?
I don't think so, either.

Nope, no more evidence needed. We know what this was really about.

And yeah, strange that they look so happy.

Doesn't say anything favorable about brain power per square foot in Cali, if this was the tipping point for handing the election to Fuhrer Brown.

Gloria Alread has become the dregs of attornyship. She is the lowest of the low pretending to be what she is not.

I thought that was pathetic. Gloria is going to have tough times finding clients now. Well deserved.

Hi Karen, no more evidence needed; it was a slam dump, wasn't it.

beamish: everyone I know that this was a set-up and, as mixed a crowd as I have as friends, nobody I know except maybe 2 people, voted for Brown. I keep thinking of that girl I wrote about on election day...voting 'provisional' because she supposedly worked far from home and 'isn't it great they let me do this?'....she signed that book and I get told by the registrar that they look at those books in Norwalk, where all the ballots and provisional signatures go, to make sure someone (let's say her name was Mary Johnson) didn't vote elsewhere. Picture that "Okay, I've got a Mary Johnson....anybody see that name in any of the other hundreds of provisional signatures?!" Ya, right. And we wonder how Brown won.

Joe...and remember how she screeched voter fraud by the Obama people against her candidate Hillary in the Houston primaries?(backed up by many precinct workers I have videos of) OH, yes...where'd that outrage go? She suddenly quieted down. What a disservice to this great country to not have continued her anger and investigated...but, they were fellow Dems she'd have to have been turning in...
I always wonder what she got offered to shut up.

FB, are you kidding? She's ever the more popular with leftwingers.....she got the woman who could have brought some fiscal sanity to this State down; they love her and will hire her all the more.

They got Gov. Moonbeam into office. That was the plan all along. Considering how the election went, sometimes I think there is no hope for California.

Off Topic: I still haven't hear what you think of Dagen or her sister, Megan.

FrogBurger said...

Yes but people who are serious about a big money case will not go to her, left wing or not.

This was obviously a publicity stunt pulled off by Allred to gain notoriety, as in "look, I help out little people too."

I can't stand that woman.

FB, why not? She creates amazing leftwing sympathy for her clients and they love her.

Cube...MEGAN?

Steve...no, it was just to make sure Whitman got screwed with the lies.

The way I see it, 40% of people are always going to vote for the Democrat, even if you show them all pictures of smiling Democrats slurping aborted baby blood from a chalice made from the skull of a 9/11 victim. And 40% of people are always going to vote for the Republican, even if you show them all pictures of smiling Republicans getting lap dances at the strip club with their party donations.

Which leaves the fickle 20% deciding elections, and throwing their weight behind one or the other, which in turn may entice defectors from one side or the other, resulting in 55% - 45% margin splits after the votes are counted.

Only on rare occasions will the Democrat or the Republican not be able to safely assume he's got 40% of the vote already sewn up. (Obama's looking at that in 2012, with his floor of support now in the 26% range)

So what makes the 20% bend one way or the other? These are the people who sigh about "lessers of two evils" when they vote.

I've always divided the world into three parts - those with you, those against you, and those who wonder why cottage cheese has an expiration date.

Sure, there may have been fraud involved in Governor Moonbeam's election (who am I kidding with that "may have" crap?) but I'll bet there was some of those cottage cheese pondering lunkheads padding his numbers as well.

The sad fact is, that 20 to 30% of the general population are who both parties are trying to court.

Governor Moonbeam courted them. It probably didn't hurt to have pot legalization on the ballot at the same time.

Beamish, as I mentioned several times, the pot proposition brought a lot of voters out who'd not normally vote Republican (trust me)...ya, that helped. Odd that it was even on there now considering how long they've spoken about putting a proposition out there to legalize.

As for lunkheads.....I still don't think this was a legal election; you've probably read too many times already my own observation of TWO PEOPLE I'm 90% sure were illegally voting at my precinct alone during only the five minutes I was there. Not that Californians would go for Conservatives very often but they HAVE and done very well under them...Deukmejian, Wilson, etc. Even Arnold was Republican till the lesbian ultra lefty came to Sacramento from San Francisco to be his Chief of Staff..I remember hearing about it on the radio in my kitchen and thinking "Well, we've lost ARnold" And, we did...a week later I started hearing such rubbish come out of him I figured the lesbian had turned for him and was doing him in the office just to get him to bend. So to speak:0)

I'm still rolling on the floor laughing at this. And from your thoughts too, Z. LOL!

I may have to take off from making snarky comments tonight. ;)
