Sunday Faith Blog...make sure you watch the video linked below!

I'm using today's weekly Sunday Faith Blog and the fact that it's the first Sunday after Thanksgiving to thank you all for frequenting GeeeZ.   I've been blessed by your presence and am grateful for the friendships, super conversations, and the knowledge I get from all of you!
Today, I want to give you one of my very favorite verses from the Bible which has really helped me, especially after having lost my Mr. Z.,"Have no fear for I am with you, be not afraid for I am your God, I will strengthen you and help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand". Isaiah 41:10.

Have a super Sunday.........God bless you all.  THIS VIDEO will help put you in one GIGANTICALLY GOOD MOOD, it did me! (compliments of Pris)

Isaiah 40:31 states, [T]hey that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

I claim that verse of comfort.

A blessed Lord's Day to you, Z. Your blog is one of my first stops every Sunday morning.

Z,
I did watch the video.

Just didn't manage to find time to comment to that thread yesterday.

A video like that should help Big Gene recruit some new viewers for his "family reality show, I guess.

Have to admit I'm not a big fan of Big Gene no matter what he pretends to be.

Thank YOU Z, for giving me a place to comment, which is actually more fun for me than blogging.

Oh, and Gene Simmons rocks.

The video made me smile, Z. Love that comraderie!

A beautiful verse Z.
We all need help and strength from time to time and these words are needed to remind us we're never alone.

As for the video. It's less about Gene Simmons than our troops' response. Look at their faces. They're loving it.

Those military songs go way back. Some, as far back as WWI, and have lasted through all the years.

I think it's great that Simmons and Kiss take the time to entertain the troops. This wasn't a one time deal either.

I don't think one has to be a Simmons or Kiss fan, to appreciate their support of our military.

There should be many more celebrities contributing to this effort, but, they aren't are they.

1 Chronicles 16:11
Seek the Lord and His strength; yearn for and seek His face and to be in His presence continually!

This is one of my favorites!

This one shows just what a Great God we have for HE is ALL things:

Psalm 18:2
The Lord is my Rock, my Fortress, and my Deliverer; my God, my keen and firm Strength in Whom I will trust and take refuge, my Shield, and the Horn of my salvation, my High Tower.

Oh, yea, and it was an awesome video

AOW, what thread yesterday?
The video today ROCKS!

Beamish, your blog's wonderful and your comments here are a major asset of geeeZ. thanks for being here.

Jen, that's the best part, I agree.

Pris, some of the soldiers were rocking out, others, when it was THEIR branch of the services, stood SO TALL AND PROUD and sang. Brings tears to the eyes, doesn't it!

Ticker, wonderful, thanks very much.

Debbie, I haven't visited much lately, forgive me. I'm so glad to be part of our corner of the blogosphere.

I like Gene Simmons.

Aside from his being rock and roll's "God of Thunder" he is an Israeli-born Jewish American and he doesn't mince words about fighting terrorism.

He needs to get together with Ted Nugent and put together a big ass rock tour for the troops.

I'd buy a ticket.

Z,
I thought that you meant the video in the post yesterday.

I'm distracted, I guess. For a number of reasons.

Always On Watch said...

Okay. I've finally seen the video you meant.

Whodda thunk it?

Wonderful vid!

AOW, SO glad you saw it and liked it! Ya, I can only imagine your distractions with all you do!

I'm thankful I've got a place with people I enjoy. Thanks for posting so frequently and letting me be pissed off at times :)

Forgot to say we went to a Lakers game. The game sucked but it was a great experience.

FB, you're a treasure to have here! Thanks for coming by AND being pissed off!
Aren't those games GREAT? I'm so glad you got to go...I can't watch for now; Mr. Z LOVED the Lakers and it's too painful for me, but I'm sure that will pass. I hope so as I've been a fan, too.
