Sunday Faith Blog.....GLORIOUS!

What more can be said?  The Hallelujiah Chorus, nothing if it's not about GOD, moves so many people at this department store!  ENJOY, I promise it will make your day, and it might even bring a tear to your eye.  You know, I think it kind of shows we're not quite as jaded as we think...... A good thing!

"However, it is written: "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him."   1 Corinthians 2:9

Have a really great Sunday.........listen to some music!

Z, I absolutely LOVED it! Hallelujah! (praise G-d)!

How beautiful and inspirational. You'd have to be dead from the neck up not to appreciate Handel's "Messiah." The amazing POWER of the of the entire scene...

Shabbat Shalom to all of you good Christians out there. :-)

This was beautiful! I love the Hallelujah Chorus! It was great seeing all the people in the store singing it!

Hi, Jingoist! I'm so glad you enjoyed it, too....it is beautiful and inspirational.

Linda..that's the best part, SO many people singing along and kind of looking around as if they're thinking "I can't believe I'm singing along...is anybody looking at me!?" They're just having such fun.

That was great, Z!

Music is a language that seems to speak directly to the soul.

King of Kings and Lord of Lords...Messiah reigns now and forever :)

Z, it is truly glorious. I would love to have been in that shopping mall that day.

I play the Messiah sung by the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, every Christmas Eve. It fills the house and is so joyful.

Z - That must have been a moving experience for those people. I know it would have been for me.

I wasn't surprised to see that sort of reaction. I think the majority of people are happy to have something bring out the joy they are capaple of feeling - in this case the Hallelujah Chorus - and to share it with others, even strangers.

Isn't it fantastic, everybody? I'm glad you all enjoyed it.

Sue, you said "I think the majority of people are happy to have something bring out the joy they are capable of feeling - in this case the Hallelujah Chorus - and to share it with others, even strangers."

yes, you captured what I couldn't put my finger on...they loved having that joy brought out of them, you could see it in almost sheepish glances as they abandoned themselves to that glorious piece.

I couldn't help knowing (not wondering, KNOWING) that so many of the newer generation wouldn't even recognize it... I hope I'm wrong.

Brooke, I had a great morning...sand "I will carry you" by Amy Grant at church and had some fabulous feedback......a very touching moment where a dear friend said those words were just what she'd been needing to hear, too...really touched me.
I'm going to try to get it so I can post it soon on my Sunday Faith Blog...Z singing I WILL CARRY YOU! I hope I can...but you know me and computer-ese...it's "ese" not "ease" for a reason with me.
I'll lean on Elmer's Bro, I know he'll be able to do it, AS USUAL :-)

Good SUnday to everyone...you're all precious to me.

This chorus is beyond words and as close to the music of Heaven that we will hear in this life.

Z - Your Sunday Faith Blog inspired me to get out the Messiah and listen to it while I put up the Christmas tree.

I think I mentioned before that we are having Thanks/Christmas this year. I've only got a week and a couple of days: my shopping is done, most of the gifts wrapped, I've started the decorating, I'll be cooking next weekend, and all the wallpaper is down. Hallelujah! (did I mention that I have to put the house back together and clean it)

Just wait.....some offended Muslim will appeal to CAIR to take his case.

But...it was wonderful to see all those "hip' sophists" dig the Jesus tunes.

"AND HE WILL REIGN FOR EVER AND EVER...KING OF KINGS".

RedWood said...

THIS reaction form all lthese people....is exactly what these muslim fascists don't understand...that we are above and beyond all political differences....Children of One G_D. And that we will NEVER abandon HIM...WE WILL NEVER FORGET HIM...We will....fight for Him.

Jesus....and the Chosen Ones...will prevail and live Forever.

Suck it up...muslim crazies.

Shoprat, my dear buddy, you said "as close to the music of Heaven that we will hear in this life."
I believe you're right on that.

Sue, I'm so so glad you listened to the Messiah and that you're doing so well with all you've got to do! GOOD ON YOU, GIRL! :-)
I'll be doing a "What's your stuffing?" blog sometime soon..be ready to tell us the ingredients!! I'm a stuffing ADDICT!

RedWood...loved your comments..AMEN to all of it!
