Turkeys are mooing........

And, pretty soon, cattle will be lowing!  I love the holiday season!  and........
Let's discuss it at Mac 'n GeeeZ!  I haven't posted there since July, but I would love to hear your favorite stuffings (or dressings!)  Take a look and please comment!  Thanks!
BY THE WAY.....which of you doesn't have TURKEY FOR THANKSGIVING?  I'd be interested in knowing that, too.    Mostly, because I was thinking those turkeys about could be called Thanskgiving COWS and it occurred to me that maybe some eat beef or pork.......?

I love this cartoon!

Stuffing....you can't go wrong with the stuff in a bag!

Have wonderful Thanksgiving, Z! I hope you get to spend it with loved ones.

My favorite stuffing is almost any kind that someone else makes.

Have a great Thanksgiving!

Heavy sigh. I'll be working. At least I have a job after 35 years.

I'm so glad you asked. This year, Mr. Cube's great aunt invited us over for Thanksgiving and we're going to see many relatives that we haven't seen in years. Fortunately, it falls on Wednesday!!! Why am I happy? Because that means I can still have my traditional Thanksgiving on Thursday at my house for my family. This is a win win for us.

Good hosts that we are, we asked what we could bring and Auntie M. asked for stuffed grape leaves and good pita bread. We are on it.

Mr. Cube went to the local middle eastern bakery today and brought home a bunch of goodies, including some lamajunes...and that made me think of you. I still haven't tried your recipe!

BTW the local lamajunes aren't as good as the ones we import from New Jersey. Do you know of any better ones? Besides yours that is...

Cornbread stuffing can't be beat! It sure beats stale breadcrumbs any day.

I'll be fixin my Mom's sweet tater casserole. It's delicious, different and none of the bunch having Thanksgiving dinner at our house this year has ever tasted it or anything like it. YUMMY!

Have a wonderful, blessed Thanksgiving!

Ticker: Stop already. You're making my mouth water with your mom's sweet tater casserole.

Ah cube but it is a totally different type of sweet tater dish than you probably have ever experienced. And yep, it's so good that it will make your tongue reach up and smack out your brains. hahaha

Hint: it has coconut, pecans and pineapple in it. YUMMMMYY

I love sweet tater casserole, but the coconut would put me in the hospital. I'm deathly allergic.

I'm going to whip up some rumaki appetizers for T-Day.

Yummy bacon-wrapped pineapple and chicken livers marinated in soy and ginger sauce and baked in the oven until heavenly. Put a little Asian in yer Caucasian...

Mom's already got my 5 pounds of okra ready to fry.

Thanksgiving without fried okra is like ... well, I can't even think of a traditionally Beamish analogy because it's so unthinkable.

fired okra on Thanksgiving...well, it might be traditional for YOU, beamish, but.........as much as I love any kind of okra, that's a tough one for me!

Ticker, don't let it smack your brains too hard; we like 'em!

I wish I had a recipe for you Z. My lovely sister-in-law (the henpecker) made an oyster stuffing a few years back before her holiday moratorium. Okay, I'll stay on topic.

I didn't get the recipe, but that oyster stuffing was an AMAZING treat! Three years ago I made two rib roasts for the main dish, and it was a HUGE hit.

I'm going to Chattanooga for the holiday weekend, and I plan on doing some hunting too. You all have a WONDERFUL time!!
