China and Snowden

So....The Chinese say the extradition papers weren't correct so they let Snowden out........Is this the beginning of unfriendly countries using our disdain at Eric Holder against us? The Chinese know about the scandals and how thinking Americans don't trust the DoJ anymore.
If China had wanted to respect us, they could have said "This isn't correct...redo, or we're getting him to Russia"...but they just sent him out.  Because Holder's reputation is fun for nasty countries to make fun of?

If the papers weren't correct, WHY NOT?  Is this yet another Holder scandal?  Or SHOULD it be? I have heard very little about that aspect of his leaving Hong Kong.

What do you think?

Who knows?

So much weaseliness is going on that it beggars belief.

BTW, have you seen THIS?

Michael Hastings Sent Email About FBI Probe Hours Before Death.HT: HuffingtonPost

Hours before dying in a fiery car crash, award-winning journalist Michael Hastings sent an email to his colleagues, warning that federal authorities were interviewing his friends and that he needed to go "off the rada[r]" for a bit.

The email was sent around 1 p.m. on Monday, June 17. At 4:20 a.m. the following morning, Hastings died when his Mercedes, traveling at high speeds, smashed into a tree and caught on fire. He was 33.

Hastings sent the email to staff at BuzzFeed, where he was employed, but also blind-copied a friend, Staff Sgt. Joseph Biggs, on the message. Biggs, who Hastings met in 2008 when he was embedded in his unit in Afghanistan, forwarded the email to KTLA, who posted it online on Saturday.

Here's the email, with the recipients' names redacted.

Subject: FBI Investigation, re: NSA Hey (redacted names) -- the Feds are interviewing my "close friends and associates." Perhaps if the authorities arrive "BuzzFeed GQ," er HQ, may be wise to immediately request legal counsel before any conversations or interviews about our news-gathering practices or related journalism issues.

Also: I'm onto a big story, and need to go off the rada[r] for a bit.

All the best, and hope to see you all soon.
Michael

It's unclear what "big story" Hastings was working on prior to his death, but it might have to do with yet another military bigwig, this time retired general David Petraeus.

The LA Times reported that Hastings was researching a story about a privacy lawsuit brought by Jill Kelley, the Florida socialite who took center stage in the Petraeus cheating scandal, against the Department of Defense and the FBI. According to a person close to Kelley, the paper said, Hastings had plans to meet a representative of hers to discuss the case next week.Read the full story here.

I did not enable all the links in the above passage. Go HERE for the links.

I hate conspiracy theories. But the above worries me. There were a few strange things about that car accident.

AOW, that's quite a story, isn't it.
Brietbart died alone on a street corner with no witnesses...this guy's dead now.
I've never thought Andrew was killed and I can't speak for those who know intimately what might have happened, but suffice it to say I've started to change my mind.

If Clinton could to it so much, why not Obama?

I'll be praying that Hastings' friends PURSUE THIS.

As for China and Snowden:
Why would they cooperate after Snowden informs them that we've been hacking them.
They may have figured that out for themselves (or assumed it) but to have it shoved in their face, it would be hard to ignore.

The really weasely thing about the Hastings incident is that the video of him speeding through the intersection is not a traffic cam but video from another reporters car!
Who would randomly shoot video of a traffic intersection?
And why must we believe that the video was taken at the time of the accident?
In other words (tin hat time), the video could have been taken earlier of a similar vehicle.

Ed,
Thank you for that info. I'll pass it along to IBA.

Z,
I'm not privy to that info about Breitbart's death. But I do find the timing and the manner of his death suspicious.

Damn, I'm becoming paranoid.

They might be afraid to do so!

AOW, it's only paranoia if it's not what happened. I've felt that way myself, but, we do have reason to doubt what we are told.
Hang in there, you could be right on!

Remember Vince Foster whose body was found, I think, in a park! There was no blood or evidence found there if I'm not mistaken. So, will we ever know?

Probably not, but it was very suspicious in my mind, given all the dead people in Arkansas who knew too much for their own good.
