Now the REAL STUFF STARTS....let the campaigning REALLY begin

The MESSiah vs the Messiah............. Let the games begin; McCain and Obama will now have to tell about the DETAILS behind their ideas about change. It's important to remember that "Change is not a destination, just like hope is not a strategy," as Rudy Giuliani said at the convention.

ALSO, while we're on the subject of messiahs: Please be watching CNN as they've sent a journalist there to report every day, admittedly, on what they find on Sarah Palin's church. They attended the church service yesterday. Rick Sanchez just had a marvelous time interviewing the woman jounalist up there ; "Does her faith affect her GOVERNANCE?" he asked the woman. She looked chagrined because she had to admit that people up there say it has not, adding that "She hasn't MENTIONED GOD SINCE McCAIN PICKED HER". It's so curious to me how Christians who have strong faith are so maligned, almost not allowed to have faith and be in politics, but only if they're Republicans.

ONLY if they are Republicans. And ONLY if they are Christian. Now that Obama has apparently convinced most of the world he's a Christian, why not question how faithful HE is? Is he not only CHristian but a little "overboard" on it, too? !! We know what his church is about, why not ask Obama himself how much he adheres to Liberation Theology? Funny that CNN hasn't covered that, isn't it? (yes, I'm being sarcastic)

People who foolishly vote this snake oil salesman community organizer and are looking for a are so desperate for a "change" are really going to be shocked at the "change" they are in for.
They are so desperate for a "change" they are willing to put a Community Organizer in the White House. As i said before, Al Sharpton is also a Community Organizer.
Think about it.

I think Sarah probably hasn't mentioned God because she's been asked not to make an issue of her beliefs, and I'd think her church family would guess that's the case. If she WERE talking a lot about God CNN would be complaining about that, no?

Sorry z, "Joel's Army" isn't going to cut it with the average American.

Jeremiah Wright was fair game and now they are going to go to town on that "Jesus Camp" pastor in Wassila.

The clips of her and the minister are going around. Won't be long.

Me, I'm waiting for her to toss a dirty diaper somewhere and have one of those National Enquirer tails that are on her 24/7 grab it for a DNA test on Trig or whatever his name is.

cj, CNN's not complaining. What appeared clear to me is that they're insinuating she won't do anything to upset the apple cart now..and that she USED to mention God (tho the Alaskans they interviewed said she didn't wear her faith on her sleeve in government) but NOW SHE DOES NOT!! Of course, wouldn't they LOVE her to now so they can pounce?

Obama did, he mentioned (GASP!) Jesus, and nobody said A THING!

Dude.....HOW can we stop people who WILL NOT THINK!? We're invited to dinner with another couple Thursday night and our hostess warned me that they're voting for Obama for better health care! They honestly believe they won't have to pay for anything. But, they don't ask WHO WILL!! I'm praying for strength NOW and have threatened Mr. Z with his LIFE (LOL!)

Scary....I swear, i'm getting downright scared. Also scared to think this many people were so indoctrinated. Am blogging on that idea soon....still mulling it over. thanks for coming by.

Ducky, if your pleasure is to continue commenting here, there'll have to be a big change in your comments. Thanks.

Nobody's asking you to become a true person of faith, nobody's asking you to turn Republican. I'm asking you to disagree with civility and decency and respect. Maybe even the kindness my commenters use with you.

This is my site and I'm asking you to stop the nastiness.

Ducky..by the way, if you mean Joel Osteen...AS IF.
I'd be more concerned about Blacks screeching in agreement about how hideous America is before I'd worry about people who get their dose of positive thinking, because that's about all Joel Osteen teaches.

The real question for CNN is did they spend a week in Obama's church? The short answer is no. It's unlikely they even reported on it. That's ok though because the MSM is sinking and this is just speeding it up their demise.

As far as Obama having to actually speak to the issues, he has gotten away until now on charisma. McCain one upped him and nominated a woman with charisma who can talk about issues. This will be a problem because Obama is issue-poor.

Look no further than his interview the other day and the "my muslim faith" comment to see what happens when he doesn't have a script to follow.

I wouldn't put up with Ducky, Z, and you certainly don't have to either. He isn't even close to being civil! Disagreeing is one thing, but in the manner which he does it? It's disgusting.

I'm sorry you are going to have to go to a dinner with people who think that nationalized health care is the answer. They are so wrong! England and Canada has proven that. I have a Canadian friend who lost his father because he had a bad heart and it took too long to get in to see the doctor. Many Canadians come here because of the long waits up there. Where will they go if we go to the same defunct system that Canada has. I do wish people would wake up!

Oh, Z, I'm sure she's going to be upsetting many apple carts, it's just a matter of when and where and how I have no doubt. The smear pieces of CNN and the rest of the left aren't going to be able to keep up with her. She'll show up each one in its time as she has been doing already.

mr. ducky... you do realize that Downs Syndrome children are generally born to OLDER women, don't you? Please. Analyze Trig's diaper droppings. I suggest you try a taste test... for your party seems to have lost any sense of taste they may have originally possessed.

he incidence of Down syndrome rises with increasing maternal age. Many specialists recommend that women who become pregnant at age 35 or older undergo prenatal testing for Down syndrome. The likelihood that a woman under 30 who becomes pregnant will have a baby with Down syndrome is less than 1 in 1,000, but the chance of having a baby with Down syndrome increases to 1 in 400 for women who become pregnant at age 35. The likelihood of Down syndrome continues to increase as a woman ages, so that by age 42, the chance is 1 in 60 that a pregnant woman will have a baby with Down syndrome, and by age 49, the chance is 1 in 12. But using maternal age alone will not detect over 75% of pregnancies that will result in Down syndrome.

Now how old is Sarah Palin?

I have only been off line for 72 hours and cannot believe we have all gotten so nasty.

Separation of Church and State. Please do not dredge up religion of any candidate. Look at their individual lives and see what good they have done and let that speak for their ethics and morals. Obama and McCain and Palin and Biden live as good people yet somehow we have to try to turn them into evil monsters, while we are the only evil monsters as we debate an innocent chld's dna.

Z,
Duck is getting nasty because he recognizes that Palin may indeed deliver a victory for the McCain-Palin ticket in November, thus cutting out Duck's candidate (Obama).

The Dems thought they had this election all wrapped up with a bow on top. They'll get shriller the more theatened they feel.

Ducky, I know you're suddenly fascinated with babies, but, are you so desperate that you can be so petty and nasty?

I take this personally, because I have three cousins who are handicapped. All of them are greatly loved and well cared for. But, if you think their parents haven't suffered for them, and all of us haven't shed tears for them, you would be mistaken.

None of these three will ever have normal lives. Life does not stop because of this. The families survive, accept and adapt.

To imply that a parent such as this can't aspire to serving her country is ludicrous.

She, in fact, may be more influential in bringing attention and research to these conditons than any politician has to date.

So, Ducky I advise you to hold your fire when it comes to babies. They can't fight back. Of course Mama bear can.

The demoncraps are running scared, as well they should be. They knew when they heard first Palen and then McCain speeches at the RNC that they were in SERIOUS trouble. Now that a few polls have come out showing just what a great bounce McCain/Palin got from the convention, watch the political sparks fly! They will use every dirty trick known to man(or woman) to reverse their decline. It won't do them any good! Sorry Alaska, we'll be hanging on to your governor for------mmmmmmmm-------let's see------12 years. You may have her back in 2020.
