Priscilla's written a letter I thought served well as one of her always appreciated (and too long-awaited) columns at geeeeeZ entitled, appropriately enough, Priscilla's Post. This was written in response to a request for support for Sarah Palin; I hope all of you heed the call and write yourselves. It takes two minutes but might give years of courage to Mrs. Palin! Thank so much.
Dear Governor Palin,
As a conservative, first I would like to say how pleased and excited I
am at your acceptance of the VP nomination.
I'm sure you've been briefed as to the vicious attacks you'll have to
bear, as is already in evidence. It is difficult, even when warned, to
face such vitriol. Perhaps even more so for your lovely family.

However it is clear your family has a strong wife and mother, so I
have a feeling they are strong as you.
Just know there are many millions of us out here, who are thrilled
with your candidacy, and are praying and pulling for you.
I'm sure when you were fighting corruption in Alaska you faced similar
tough criticism. I can see that you have the courage and strength to
see this through with flying colors.
Just one more thing: It's been a long time since we had a true
conservative to support. Your fiscal conservatism, pro gun (I'm an NRA
member as well), family values, energy independence, and strong
national defense stance warms a traditional conservative's heart.

Great letter, Priscilla. Sarah has done so much to energize and excite the Conservative movement. Yes, she is a gift of God no matter what happens from here on out. Pray for her. The Left hate her with a passion and I don't think the fight is going to get any the cleaner!

The McCain/Palin ticket wins 49.7% support, compared to 45.9% backing for the Obama/Biden ticket, this latest online survey shows. Another 4.4% either favored someone else or were unsure.

The interactive survey of 2,312 likely voters nationwide was conducted Sept. 5-6, 2008, and carries a margin of error of +/- 2.1 percentage points.

I just finished writing a long response to a female commenter on my blog who believes that Sarah is being selfish wanting to be vp and that Trig, her baby, won't get enough attention. She also says she likes McCain and doesn't think Sarah would make a good president if something should happen to him. Evidently she doesn't trust his judgement!

I would much prefer to send Governor Palin an email directly, but apparently no email address is available for her or for her campaign.
I always have problems with organizations that demand my identification before they'll post or forward anything.
I'm disappointed that the McCain/Palin campaign is not giving "the people" any form of direct access.

This is a sad day when Sarah Palin, a Christian would tout lies and those who support her have to listen. Doesn't she owe her supporters the truth at the very least. I have lost faith in her completely today. What a sad day.
We in Canada are laughing our heads off at the Palin debacle...can't imagine her a heartbeat away from the Presidency if the Republicans get elected--but should be good for onging comedy. Ignorance and bigotry packaged as "maverick" politics.

Doesn't anyone ever wonder why our new president to be refers to himself as "black" when he is half white? My husband's grandfather was American Indian but he does not refer to himself as a native American. I find it rather insuting for Obama to say he is black and not also say he is white. Is that not some form of racist speak?

First, please let me apologize for the remarks made and directed toward your family by the very ignorant David Letterman. As a talk show host he should be setting an example of using humor that is not intended to hurt, harm, or destroy people. I believe his own girlfriend was "knocked up" by "someone" before he married her. Maybe his anger for her is being directed at you.
