I agree about John McCain and I intend to vote for him. His personal integrity says more than his voting record in the end. His choosing Sarah Palin was a giant plus for his character in my book. Then his personal story that he told tonight was believable -- how he became a man for his country instead of a man for himself. Wonderful.
No I haven't changed my mind that sometimes you simply cannot vote even if you allow a worse evil to win. I still believe that but I'm not going to argue it at this point.

Sarah will be a quick study where the machinery of DC is concerned. That's all that's necessary in this case. After that she'll need a good right hand man who she trusts. Bush has Rove and Card who he can trust. You MUST have a cabinet that you can trust.
Sarah has THE most important characteristics already licked! She doesn't seem like an incoherant vacillator, she seems to know her own mind. My guess is that she also has good judgement. This makes her FAR more qualified than the Dem ticket already.

Well the commercials are already being prepared. This morning's news was anticipated but they need a rework after last night.

And this morning we get the report of over a full point jump in unemployment (and it ain't over yet folks).
So McCheese wants you back in the robber baron days when you just got tossed out in the street when the foreclosure came around. The man is a true ignoramus and his stupidity ("When I voted against the holiday I didn't know who Martin Luther King was") is going to get hammered.
Lot of ways to reinforce a stupid persons stupidity in an ad and McCheese is a target rich airhead.
