HERE is what you GUYS will want to read..(the title is "Why I am no longer an African American" and it's amazing)....then leave the rest to the ladies; BUT, please encourage ladies in your life to get involved like the women below!
AS A MOM...A Sisterhood of Mommy Patriots is a blog aimed at moms all across America. Here are the 'network of principles' this blog is based upon:
The Nine Principles
1. America is good.
2. I believe in God and He is the Center of my Life.
3. I must always try to be a more honest person than I was yesterday.
4. The family is sacred. My spouse and I are the ultimate authority, not the government.
5. If you break the law you pay the penalty. Justice is blind and no one is above it.
6. I have a right to life, liberty and pursuit of happiness, but there is no guarantee of equal results.
7. I work hard for what I have and I will share it with who I want to. Government cannot force me to be charitable.
8. It is not un-American for me to disagree with authority or to share my personal opinion.
9. The government works for me. I do not answer to them, they answer to me.
The Twelve Values
1-Honesty
2-Reverence
3-Hope
4-Thrift
5-Humility
6-Charity
7-Sincerity 8-Moderation
9-Hard Work
10-Courage
11-Personal Responsibility
12-Gratitude
HERE is MARY BAKER's BLOG...She was on Glenn Beck's show with the Mom from the blog above and another mom of TWELVE children. Mary's blog was introduced to me through Vegas Art Guy's blog because she published THIS ARTICLE that knocked his socks off and, then, mine! You really ought to treat yourself to reading it; it's entitled Why I am no longer an African American. I mentioned it above because I knew women AND men would want to read that. Amazing piece.
Please support these two women....join As a Mom; if you're a grandma, get your daughters to join! Read Mary's blog, she has some really wonderful blog pieces, very impressive.
Glenn Beck might not be YOUR cup of tea, but that man's done more to energize Conservative Americans of all colors and genders and ages than anybody since Ronald Reagan!
Strength through numbers, people! Join, talk to your neighbors, talk to other moms at your schools, get involved! We've got a country to save............and, if we don't start teaching our kids to love America again, it will be beyond saving.

Count me in!
We need Rosie the riveter and all American women to steer us back on track to save this country more than ever before.
Mary, you are an outstanding American Lady, a credit to this country. I could go around calling myself a 'Scots-Irish-English-Welsh-American', but NO, I am an American first, last, & foremost. I am not responsible, nor am I to blame, for what my forbears did, or where they went. I believe it was John Wayne who did a wonderful narrative on the subject of national origins set to a musical background.
There is no group or nationality of people that have not been persecuted somewhere at some time in their history, including the Irish, Italians, Japanese, & Chinese in this country. The way one is perceived & treated is based predominately on the way they behave. If one behaves like a thug, crook, or gangster one will be treated like one, white, black, pink, or purple.

Good stuff. It's time for America to wake up!
Two great lists! To which we should all subscribe.
I'm still working out the kinks on the lesson itself but I will use that article in my honors class and possibly one of my other classes as well.
And thanks for the shout out Z!
Mary Baker is a secure, thinking person. She's an American through and through. Maybe someday the hyphens will disappear, and we can all relate as Americans, based on a commonality of nationality and American values.
I think that was Martin Luther King
's dream, and so should it be for all of us.
Z - Thanks for this post. It's great.
As a Mom and Grandmother, I'm thrilled at the prospect of the coming together of Moms and if I may, Grandmothers. I have already joined the asamom group, and passed the info on to my sister and nieces.
It's time for parents to take their children back, and none too soon either.
Now, the President has announced he'd like the children to attend school longer in terms of days, and more hours a day.
In fact they want the children as young as they can get them too. What better way to limit even more, the influence of their families.
Or to put it another way, what better way to indoctrinate them into the statist, "progressive" life experience, and away from that messy, freedom, and family loving loyalty.
Statism can't exist without loyalty to it and belief in it.
So I say, go for it Moms, and grow a working, influential, coalition. Be activists for your children, and take them back from the grip of lies and manipulation of those who would rob you of your children.
Show everyone no one comes between a Mom and her children.
Pris
PS. Kudos to Glenn Beck for giving these Moms a forum. They'll take care of the rest!
The Sisterhood of Mommy Patriots is a phenomenal idea. Beck is hitting them out of the park every day. We certainly need thinkers. His "thinking" is shocking everyone. He is "their" worst nightmare. I think even some of the FOX stars are watching him over their shoulder. How embarrasing should an early evening show do better than prime time.
The Principles and Values - how great are they? um hmmmm - pretty great.
Thanks for leading me to Mary's Blog. As I told her, I think I'm the only conservative person on the planet that missed it.
Glenn Beck rocks! Notice how the left tries to discredit him? Because they cannot refute what he SAYS!
Thanks for the link to Mary's piece; that was good.
DaBlade, Rosie is alive and well in the U.S. of A!!
I checked out both blogs, Z and I'm glad you shared those links.
I love how a mom can just say it like it is, straight and true. So unlike a politician! :P
Yeah...I looked at that blog....well whoopy doo. When they get rid of black "pride" month, start having someone other than jackson, sharpton, sharpe james, fitzgerald, waters, lee, cbc, naacp, black this and black that... then we'll know they want to AMERICANS....like the rest of us.
Honestly...we're all cheering that a black lady has Christian, family and motherhood ( 7 kids ) as values? They sure have been absent from the mainstream for decades then...this proves it.
Then she gets face time on Beck? Ahhhh....the soft bigotry of low expectations and it's even on Becks face...he looked astonished.
Anonymous, you make a good point....there's no doubt about that.
But, my point is that the news we hear every day about black crime, etc, isn't always the norm (for instance, that poor kid who was beaten by other black kids was an honors student with a great future, LOTS of the black kids we hear killed were honors students, that can't be a coincidence, they're not only looking to kill achievers!); the black pimpsters like Jackson and Sharpton make money keeping black America OUT of the mainstream, voting liberal to support the leftwing causes because they believe those will help them..
but lots of black Americans haven't followed them and lots more are waking up to how that crap is NOT helping them...many of those were caught in the mortgage debauchle, too...they SAW the handout not work.
That we celebrate Mary Baker as a singular sensation is sad, as if she's a total anomaly, BUT she sets an example for ALL American women and 'allows' more and more blacks to speak up. She was NOT the only black woman in Beck's excellent discussions, believe me.
