Oh hell yeah! I love roller coasters and being slung around and scrambled at high speed.
The more high G-forces and zero-G drops the better.
Put me on the Vomit Comet!
Swang it!
Not for me!
Beamish can have my ticket.
Go up in that contraption? Hell no!
I always did have somewhat of a fear of heights. It's gotten worse as I've gotten older.
The "vomit comet"? What's that?
I would only get on that thing if I'd had a few beers and someone challenged me. Other than that, NO WAY!
You guys get the 'Fay Wray' analogy? :-)
Beamish.....NO 'SWANG IT'!! makes me shiver!
I vote to skip it. But my kids would go in a heartbeat.
Yikes. Maybe in my younger days. Now, I save my gutteral projectiles for Obama's speeches.
I don't think King Kong would put Ms. Wray through that. Not if he loved her anyway.
Put terrorists in it.
Maybe they'll end up saying it's torture :)
Yep, I get the Fay Wray anology, Z. LOL!
Personally, I'd rather be in King Kong's grasp than ride that thing. At least King Kong loved Fay Wray and wasn't about to drop her!
Unlike Beamish, I detest having my brain scrambled and the feeling that my head is going to fly off my neck. No thanks!
I'll pass on vomit comets.
I'll leave that for the Loony Left.
They are upside down anyway.
I get the analogy, still not interested in getting on. FrogBurger, you can only do this if they are facing west.
I love rides like that too, but I think too much about engineering while I am up there and wonder if the ride's arm will snap off and we'll all die.
RaDena,
The best rides make you scream "stop! let me off!" for the whole ride and when you stagger off the thing you want to do it again.
I wish Ferris Wheels would spin that fast.
ELBRO WINS!! But, King Kong DID put her through that...and her OWN RIDE, all by herself, all the way up in the sky, stuck in his hand!
I'd call this the FAY WRAY RIDE!
lol wooo nausaus already!..busy as all get out..sorry for not visiting sooner! :)
I think I'd give a shot. I do like amusement park rides, except roller coasters. They're too herky jerky.
I'll try most any ride once.
Pris
i would SO get on this - i am a real collector of roller coaster rides. now to just get someone who'll go with me - where is this? i'd like the fay wray ride too - except for those pesky flying machines that kept bothering them...
There was a place called Luna Park on Coney Island.
This contraption is probably the featured ride in Loony Park.
But everybody to his own taste. If you like it, fine, but I don't even wanna see it on film.
Otalp
I'm with you, Otalp...not even on film. Not even on film in a different planet's theater!
